Kendra arrived to where the pups were still gathered. She set herself down beside them, between Sonia and Ari. She let out a long sigh, then laid her head down on the grass, speaking softly, "I'm going away soon, on a trip with Cygnus. He's taking me to see the robots, soon as he comes back." Kendra was going to miss all of this while she was away, but at least she would be back soon, and probably wouldn't be leaving for another few days, due to Cygnus's absence.

Watching Kendra return, Sonia paused half way to the meat.
"To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower... Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour."
She smiled slowly. "It's by a poet called William Blake," she explained. "Dare taught it to me. I think...I think that no matter what happens to me, no matter how beautiful or hideous I turn out to be, no matter how I walk or how many piercings I wear, how many tattoos, bracelets, what my collar looks like...I want to be able to do what he says there. I want always to be able to dream."

"Wow, what a lovely poem. Wise words," Kendra speculated. She had no idea this pup had such knowledge already, and was impressed.

Toki smiled while she sat next to Rina who was laying down. Sonia's words where very pretty. The dolphin marked fox giggled. "Rina-chan has grey fur and blue purple markings. Very pretty. Onii-chan has tiger stripe black and blue markings they are also very pretty Ari-kun has long stripe markings and is white light blue and black. Also pretty. Sonia has tan and blood colored fur. her fur is neat. Kendra's fur is dark blue and pretty. Sasha-chan has twirly markings and dark fur cool and pretty. Danzo has dark and light fur and arrow markings." Toki finished her list of friends and what they looked like. She hadn't really been talking to anyone.
"I have a moon and star on my tail Toki...." He said as he went back to his berries.

Kendra nodded sleepily. "Yup, you've got some pretty friends, Toki," she mused. Sonia seemed to have fallen asleep, so she made an attempt to stir her, tickling her nose with the plush tip of her tail.

"Eh? Oh I'm sorry. I shouldn't have dozed off like that." She bowed hoping Kendra was okay with it. "Oh I forgot to reply didn't I? Yeah my friends are pretty. You are too Kendra." She smiled then saw her neck piercings. "You have neck piercings... They are very pretty."

Interesting words, what Sonia had said. He wasn't exactly sure what a "poet" was, but maybe it was some sort of wise person. That made since. There was a lot of meaning behind those words, after all. Still, though, he needed to know if his theory was right.
"What is a poet?"
"Thank you. Your markings are very beautiful as well. They look very pretty together, and are very calming."
Toki's words were true, though, she didn't think she had yet seen any modifox who wasn't in some way beautiful.

"Oh, it's quite alright. And erm...Thank you..." She said awkwardly. "So, how has your day been?" Kendra said, changing the subject, and wondering why Sonia hadn't stirred yet.

Toki watched kendra-chan try waking up the sleeping Sonia. "Your welcome Kendra-chan. Oh my day had been fine, how about you?"

Did Keandra not know what a poet was, either? He did want someone to answer his question...
"My day has been good. Although it looks like the day is almost over now."
"Mine as well. Yes, perhaps we should find somewhere to sleep soon, before it is dark?"
Rina liked how the setting sun was changing the sky into so many different colors.
"Beautiful."

Toki yawned as Ari-kun said it was almost night. "Yes i think it's time to sleep as well." Toki smiled and walked over to ari-kun to give him a lil lick on the ear.

Ari licked Toki back, returning the favor of her grooming his ear.
"Where do you think the best place to sleep would be?"
Usually, bedtime meant going back to Anrea, and where she lived, but he didn't want to deal with her; he was going to stay out here.
"The ground would be more comfortable, but those boulders would be warmer from the sun. It's up to you which is more important."
But Rina thought of a good compromise, and so she laid down on the ground, next to the side of the boulder that the sun had been shining on.
Ari followed Rina over to where she was going to sleep, since that was a good idea, and laid down next to her, so they would share body heat. Night got cold, and they would need all the warmth they could get.

"I don't know but I need to find Ichigo and get him to sleep too. I think we will be sleeping in the berry bushes tonight." She smiled and waved her tail bye then ran to the bushes where Ichigo had been hiding. "Onii-chan it's sleeping time." She said as she just found him asleep shivering in a big bush. She curled up next to him to warm him and herself up.
"Nii-chan..." Ichigo said in his sleep curling up closer to her sister's warmth.

Inches from sleep, Sonia found herself murmuring incoherent protests at the tail that tried to rouse her. The good food had sunk to the pit of her stomach and was making her drowsy, and the weight of the day was catching up with her.
"...sleep..." she mumbled. "...m'm sleepy...sorry..."
And she began to drift off again.

Kendra sighed at the sight of all the sleeping pups. She herself did not feel very tired just yet. She silently rose to her feet, and slunk carefully to the pond's edge, where she peered into the moonlit water. The waves were lapping so calmly, slowing down her breathing, seemingly along with everything else. The dark fox glanced around, making sure nobody was watching her, and then craned her sleek neck downwards, allowing her tongue to lap up some of the cool water. She enjoyed the feeling of the chilled liquid slipping down her hot throat, and continued to drink in peace.
