"I would have eventually found out fre. Wouldn't I have just closed up more?" The demonic slowly swam towards her to wrap his arms around her waist. "And as for being so different...we are perfect examples of the 'opposites attract' theory."

"Still," she said as he got closer, "I was afraid to just talk to you about it. Things might not have worked out."
Gently she put her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around him. It was so nice to be close to someone. Ever so softly she placed a kiss on his neck and nuzzled into it.
"We can only face this now, I suppose. You're not too mad are you?"

"Things always work out for the best...it just might not always be appearent." A shot of warmth ran down him as she kissed his neck and then nuzzeled him. Raken smiled almost...warmly. "Mad? Not really. Still a bit hurt but...I'll be fine. As long as you promise me you'll never sneak around behind my back again."

"I promise," she stated, sighing into his neck.
She was disappointed in herself at the moment for not going to Raken. In the back of her mind she was telling herself that she had meant to but it just wasn't convincing. Fre gently pulled her head up and kissed his cheek.
"I promise to never do it again."

"...good." Slowly Raken leaned down and brushed his lips against Fre's. Nothing too passionate, seeing how they were in the water and he didn't want to drown the both of them, but sometimes the gentle kisses worked just as well

Fre smiled to herself and kissed him gently back. It was nice to have him come out of his shell like he did. To think that he was kissing her and not always the other way around was a welcome change.
"Come on," she said, breaking the embrace. "Let's see if we can get there."

when fre had dissapeared...the demonic had actually been afraid. Afraid something might have happened to her, afraid that he would never see her again. He had seen what it was like to have the angelic just up and out of his life...and he didn't want that. Raken couldn't stand to lose her. He nodded and started swimming again, backstroke to let her go easy
