"Build? Well..." -Rubbing a hoove lightly against the back of his head, he looked around. Stuffed animals wouldn't work.. Maybe..- "We could build a swing.. or a hammock if you really wanted?"

"Wow, Ana got to see SO many places! Poor Nayati stays stuck around home.. And while there is tons of places to explore and play.. I'm afraid he really doesn't get to meet a lot of people."

Anastasia considered that carefully, but could not, for the life of her, come up with any reason why such items would be desireable nor useful in the conquest of the world, and told Nayati, "No... That's okay, really. We can do somethin' else. You live here- what do YOU do?"
"Eh, she's been there before," he told Iris, "when I was on R&R last time. Though she doesn't really remember them from there, 'cept that she likes them. And again when I got back, I went on pass... And we took a short trip for Thanksgiving, which she thought was pretty cool. I think it's good to get her out and about. She stays inside an awful lot, you know?"

"Live here?" -A soft snort of amusement escaped him as he looked around the almost foreign shop himself.- "I don't live here at all. I live out in the country with my mom and my brother and sister. I used to hang around here alot, but as of late, I barely even get to come in myself."
"Hmm.. but what I do..? Usually just try to fight off boredom, be that playing with the others, 'fighting' with the plushes, exploring the nooks and cranies of the store. Nothing exciting really..."
"I see, I see. We had people over for Christmas, but Nayati didn't do a whole lot of socailizing.. perhaps I'm too protective.. but he's so small.. and I'm afraid he'll get hurt in a mass of large people like us..."

"You fight?" That got her interest, at least. "I thought the shop was Iris's.. an' so I didn't know you didn't live here. But what kinda fighting do you do?"She spun her ball of water about in her hands and added, "One of these days I want to be really good at fighting."
"Well," he rationalized, "Anastasia's a sturdy little girl... And she knows she can always count on me for help, for now. So long as I'm in close proximity, I don't mind where she goes or what she does... or if she's with someone I trust, of course."

((Hallo Shard an' LP n_n S'alright. Free of chores @_@ And rug shopping. Dad took me rug shopping! How exciting, eh?))
With Shard's greeting, Moo abandoned her search, turning back to him and smiling. "Happy New Year! We've been great, thanks. Busy, but good... How've you been? Your Velvet here with you? Whasisname... Arden, I think?"
Glancing over to LP, she laughed, shrugging 'innocently'. "Can't hurt to look, aye? New Years isn't New Years without champagne." She fell silent while LP addressed Adrian, grimacing slightly at the bluntness of the questions. Turning her gaze to the prince, she offered a faint smile, gesturing him away from the window. "Don't mind LP. She doesn't mean it offensively...I think. C'mon, c'mon, you were social at first. Stay that way!"
Acia had remained unusually silent while the board game was explained, watching curiously from the side. Finally she shrugged, taking a small step backwards, away from the game. "Seems a bit confusing to me... Can't we do something active?? It's a big party! We don't wanna just sit and roll dice...do we?"

"Actually, Arden's back at home. Kanth dragged me off rather abruptly, so I didn't have a chance to snatch him on the way out." Shard paused, considering. "Still... there are too many velvets here for Arden not to come... I think I'll have to go get him, in a moment or two."
Adrian seemed to be faltering in his enthusiasm, somewhat, although Shard certainly didn't blame him. If he had been badgered by LP like that... He paused, considering.
If I'd been stuck in that conversation, I'd have changed the subject, or left... Shard glanced back at Moo.
"Kanth needs to know when I leave, though, so she doesn't interrupt me this time. So, until I catch her again, I'll probably stay here."
