Aeris didn't say anything, trying to keep her mind up. She was cold. When they arrived where apparently Xantir wanted she finally opened her mouth "I will be surely, but you ?"

His bright green eyes darted down to the left as he fell into thought. He didn't know how to reassure her as he didn't want to lie. "Don't worry about me." He said finally as he stepped to the side of the entrance. He hadn't been able to help the foal he once traveled with, this was his chance to make everything up. "Just worry about your self. I'll live." He hoped that he wasn't lying but somewhere in him he knew that if the temperature dropped to much he'd be in for a rough time.

Aeris looked at Xantir, suspicious. Then she climbed as much as she can on the cave and laid her body down on the rock. "You sit next to me ?" she asked smiling

"Not in there...but here." He said regretting his choice of location slightly. She seemed to barely fit inside but it was what was available. He kneeled down gently before the opening before dropping to his stomach before the entrance blocking most of the wind. He smiled gently at her to say that he wasn't going to leave this spot until she was ready to go. "Are you warm enough?"

Aeris looked at him and rise a eyebrow. "Well if you don't move i do, it will warm me much if i'm close to you." And then she came closer to him, and she put her head on his neck. "You're nice Xantir. I'm really happy i meet you"

While he didn't pull away he did flinch a bit at her actions. She was pushy and rather forward but he guessed that why he was still around her. If she were any less he would have run off by now. With this thought in mind he settled back into his calm state pressing a bit closer to her. It was warmer for him but he didn't know about her. He had been so sure that it would have been warmer in the small cave in a short time but now...now he didn't want to go.
"I am too, Aeris. I really...truly am happy with you..." He was shocked by his own feelings. He hadn't felt this way before, not even with Bysti. This was something different, something new, something altogether wonderful.

Aeris started to fall a little asleep "so warm..... i want to stay with you like this..... i want to stay with.....you" her voice became lower and lower. She was not completely asleep but she closed her eyes. She felt good and happy

Xantir looked at her with a puzzled expression as she began to fall asleep. Falling asleep together was reserved for families and mates wasn't it? Or was that different here as well? "Don't worry...I do too. I won't leave you. I won't let anything hurt you..." He rubbed his cheek against her own marveling in how soft she was. The feeling was nice, he never wanted it to go away in fact. This time would definitely be different. This time he'd actually prove useful. This time he wouldn't go ahead over rocky paths. This time he wouldn't watch the dust fall around her. This time there wouldn't be any dust, because this time would be different.

Aeris woke up slowly, she was wet, she looked at Xantir. "Did i fall asleep ?" she snuggled him as if it was natural, she was not really awake yet

Xantir nodded hoping that he hadn't woken her. "Yes, but not for that long...maybe an hour..." He really had no idea how much time had passed he had been too lost in thought to keep track. It was times like these he wished he were a bit more focused. Though it didn't really matter what time it was, he had no where to go.
As she pressed closer he realized that her coat was still rather damp. "Are you warm enough?" He asked voice full of concern not quite like him.

Aeris smiled "Oh ok, sorry, i hope you weren't too bored when i slept ?" she was totally awake now "I'm good and you ? it's all ok ?. Maybe we can go out now ? I like to stay with you but i start to be a little hungry" she blushed a little

"You're hungry?" He asked looking around to try and find some food. Everything was still covered in snow though and he didn't want to kill the next grass to come. He had been in this situation before hadn't he? With a girl, but now roles were reversed. Now he was the one that knew where to go. "I know a place..." He said standing. He looked over at the trees at least a mile away. "It will be a bit of a walk though...are you up to it?"

Aeris smiled and stood up on her legs. "Of course i'm, who do you think i'm ? " she winked. "I follow you, she want to nuzzle him but she was not sure he will be ok.

He looked at her and chuckled, of course she wasn't weak. In fact she was a lot stronger then many of the mares he encountered, he rather liked that. "Good, we're just heading to that forest. There's some grass growing beneath the trees that's still rather fresh." He smiled then started off he wanted to get there quickly but when he turned around he saw that she seemed to be thinking about something.
Ignoring his slight rush he circled back to walk beside her. "Is something wrong?" He asked looking a bit concerned.

She came back from her thoughts. "It's nothing. Let's go quickly becore my stomach start to make strange noise" she laughed. She walked towards him, nuzzle him a little, then she gone out the cave and walked in direction of the forest he just showed to her."
