I had a raggedy ann doll for literally ONE night. I mean, I got it for Christmas when I was little and went to bed with it and woke up and it was gone. No one had been in my room, because I was a light sleeper and would've heard them. It didn't fall under my bed because I checked billions of times. It still unnerves me to this very day. O.o
I also used to have nightmares about my mom's doll that she keeps in a display case coming and tearing me from my room and killing me.
Haha I don't like dolls.

Amarao90
All I know is if the doll really was possessed or in some way satanic, goat could stand for Baphomet.
Yeah because goat is a symbol of the devil.

Yeah because goat is a symbol of the devil.

Yeah, but is that entirely possible?

If anything...the word just seems to be meant to unnerve. I don't know what else to say about that. But I do know that goat stands for other symbology than just the usual, by-stander Christian interpretation of the 'devil'.

I've never had an actual experience with a doll, but they do scared me XD
I remember my Snow White doll... I think I left it at my house from the move from AZ to WA
It was very pretty but very creepy XD;

But i think clown dolls scare me more D=
My aunt collects them, and it is horrible having to sleep in her front room DX

I have to agree with the majority here. Dolls alone are creepy, and why people invented them when they knew that they'd have that kind of an impact on society, I have no clue. I have never heard of Robert the doll, but seeing as that there is an entire forum on him, I'll check it out. Who would've thought that a topic such as Haunted Dolls would have so many replies! Lol. It's rather saddening, Chucky alone used to creep me out until I had seen the movie Child's play. Then I understood the plot and now he's just a serial killer trapped in a doll, but actual porcelin dolls that are practially demonic are a lot more sinister and fit the actual definition of creepy and evil a lot better.

I dont have experiences with dolls. Ok.. I sort of do.. I have a Shirley Temple doll that lives in my closet and I swear its eyes follow me. I caught it glancing over once at me. Thankfully shes in a very tightly sealed box so she has no way of getting out. But I also agree with everyone on here. Dolls ARE creepy. Especially those dolls with glass eyes or those ones that have those moving eyes. And actually, I think dolls are the easiest thing for spirits to possess, which makes them even creepier. Especially those porcelain dolls...they are the dolls that mainly are haunted.

I believe this has been already said, but I may as well repeat it. Not all haunted doll are bad. I have three possessed porcelain dolls in my room, and one of them is also has a spirit of a young girl with it. They are all very nice and they have helped many times protecting both myself and my house from attackers.

Well I will agree with creepy dolls, but mine never bothered me.... proberly because I love them..... but none of my friends like them because they swore they were watching them and playing odd tricks on them. Oh yeah to make it clear its not barbie dolls, their porcelain dolls.

I typically LOVE dolls. I have seen a couple I don't like but, they have always been my favorite type of toy since I was a child. I can't remember if I ever had strange experiences with them. If I ever did, it certainly didn't bother me enough to remember. All the dolls I own now are my "friends". xD

I had 4 American Girl Dolls that I kept in my closet- the closet had two sliding doors. I opened the right door (they were behind the left) and they were sitting on a shelf to my left. All of a sudden, they all literally turned their heads and looked at me. It was only a small angle that they turned, but I swear to god they did. It was SOOO scary I put them away in the attic and never took 'em out xD

...And I have a porcelain doll collection up on a shelf above my bed xD But those aren't scary thank god.

That's weird. Are you sure it was actually haunted, though? It could very possibly have been a novelty toy of some kind...That would be a helluva novelty, though! razz

My grandmother used to give me and my sister each a new porcelain doll every year for Christmas from when I was around five (or around there) until I was about fourteen. All the dolls were lined up on a shelf that was built on the wall in my room once they had begun to accumulate. And this was fine.

Then I saw an episode of X-Files that had to do with some kind of evil doll that ended up getting microwaved, and from that point on the dolls always used to scare me at night. I kept expecting one to blink or move it's head. Watching The Exorcist didn't help either.

I've had a few dolls that talked to me. The one was ok. I saw some of my dolls move before...funny..no one ever believed me. But most of my experiences were good until I found a doll of my grandma's. It wasn't that old and she let me play with it before she gave it to my older sister. (This was only a few years back. Yes I still play with dolls.) I was holding her and she started talking to me. Screaming. I was really getting freaked out. I threw her and ran. My grandma has since passed away and my sister has moved into her house. I swear, every time I go in there, I'm looking for the doll. It scares me...but I like it.... I don't know, I want to know why the doll is that. All it ever screams is "Help me. Help me. Don't leave, don't leave. I'll die. Help me. Help me." Stuff like that. "I want a friend. Please don't leave. I don't want to be alone. Help me."

oO Weird.
