Dear diary,
It's been a while since I wrote.
A lot of things have happened. Being back in Elementia should be a happy thing, but no, I'm back for a serious matter. Marcell is creating so much trouble here with his shadow minions. How he got such power, I still don't know.
The war is raging on, and we're doing okay. I'm so tired, but I have to hold up. Everyone else is counting on me to do so.
That and he's my twin. My brother. If anyone's going to stop him, it's me. It is partially my fault he is this way.
I miss Alora and Mereneth so. Yourie is with them; partially cause she can't join the war (she hasn't fully controlled her powers, so it could be dangerous for her to be around so many) and I need someone to take care of them.
She might seem a little immature and all, and Mereneth might dislike her, but she seems to be doing fine.
Contacting her isn't easy, it needs so much concentration and energy from both sides. I didn't want to bother her once things got worse, when the shadow minions attacked one of our camps and they were caught unawares. There was a lot of stuff to do.
But she contacted me. I was surprised to see the crystal ball glowing.
When I saw her face, I was shocked. I expected to see weariness, yes, but not that sad, horrified, quiet look. She asked me how the war was, how her parents were, how I was, would I be coming back soon?
I asked her if everything was fine and she said yes.
I still can't shake off this ominous feeling though.
-Mel

Dear diary,
what the ******** was I thinking.
I don't know, I've just been so stressed, so worried. I needed someone to talk to and damn it if I'm going to let the old woman listen to me complaining. She'd probably go on and on about being strong for the kids, and being mature, blahblahblah.
So I contacted Mel.
I know it's in the middle of the war; but she hasn't contacted me for a while, and I was a tad bit worried.
That and Mereneth is missing, that fool and Alora is now sick, and apparently not doing well. Ugh, I hate to admit it, but I've grown kinda fond of them. Kids will be kids after all. The little girl was still worried about her brother even when she was in the hospital.
I don't know what I was thinking contacting Melody though. She had this suspicious look on her face, and of course I had to lie.
I just couldn't bear to be the bearer of bad news. Goodness, she is leading a war! She looks haggard. I had to say they were both fine, I was getting on better with fire boy, which is kind of true.
Hell.
He'd better come back, that idiot.
All I did was to ask him to check if the cats were making a din at the rubbish cans. And then, he and his kitten goes missing.
And the others keep asking me everyday, where is he, did I throw him out, was I mean to him? NO.
I don't know why the hell he's missing, but he's got a darn lot of explanation to do when he returns.

Dear D-Corp,
As Miss Melody Flame may or may not have informed you, she is currently out of town on important business. She has temporarily put me, Yourie Rousseau, her cousin, in charge of Alora. Attached is a document from her, just to assure you that she is not neglecting her responsibility as a parent.
Now that that issue has been clarified, here is my report on Alora. She's undoubtedly grown and matured. Ever since she's recovered from the strange illness, she's been going outdoors lately without any prompting. She still spends time reading (I honestly doubt anyone can stop her love of books) but she mostly does it in the garden, under the tree or up in the branches these days.
She's still the same quiet girl she is, but there is a sort of confidence about her
Appearance wise, her hair has grown significantly longer and is usually braided back. She's also grown taller, though she still retains her petite stature. She's also taken to wearing long flowing dresses that cover the knee and has a tendency to go barefoot, which has prompted me to make her wear sandals.
And as expected, she's a vegetarian; I've never tried to make her eat worms or anything of the sort.
That is all.
-Yourie Rousseau
