Isto was thoroughly relieved when Slush accepted the subject change, a grin flashing across his face even as his lips met Slush's. He all but melted into the kiss, leaning forward slightly even as Slush pulled away to extend it for as long as possible. Finally he pulled back, laughing aloud simply for the joy of it, striding down the hall just behind his fiancee. His fiancee... First to get married, first to have a kid...who would have thought?

"I got distracted," Isto murmured in defense, leaning forward slightly, lips lingering against Slush's even as they entered the kitchen. Grinning, he nodded his thanks to Nathan as he accepted the plate, then turned and followed Slush back to the table, setting his plate down infront of the seat beside Slush's.

The kiss took him by surprise, not that he minded in the least. "Love you too, Slush..." he murmured when they finally parted, smiling softly, simply staring into Slush's eyes for a moment. It was still hard for him to believe he wasn't dreaming... Maybe X hadn't really made him come inside the night before and he was sitting out on the porch in a coma because of the cold. Or perhaps Devon had effected him even more than he'd thought, and he was frozen stiff in bed.

But then the smell of fresh pancakes reached him. In dreams, one never really smelled anything. So this couldn't possibly be a dream! Thoroughly relieved, he flshed Slush a grin, then slid into his chair and picked up one of the pancakes. Folding it in half, he took a large bite out of...eating it like a taco. Truely Nathan was the Pancake King.

Isto glanced up slightly when he felt Slush's hand on his thigh but merely grinned, finishing off his pancake in another couple of bites. DAMN, he was HUNGRY! When was the last time he had eaten?? Yesterday's breakfast seemed about right. His eyes followed X out of the room before turning back to Slush...and then the remaining pancakes on his plate. He honestly couldn't believe how well everything was turning out... The past day or so was a complete blurr to him, lots of crying and lots of heartache without a speck of happiness to remember. And suddenly all of that was gone...over....hopefully never to be seen again.

And theeen...he remembered Moo didn't know Mauli was pregnant. Or, when he left she hadn't. Mauli was going to tell Lenta, and Lenta would undoubtably tell Moo. So Isto had more yelling to look forward to once he got home. But he also had to tell Moo he was engaged... He was getting married! And how the heck would she react to that? He couldn't imgine. It would be interesting to see Jack's face, though... Chuckling softly to himself at the image, Isto took a bite out of his pancake, just...relaxing.

Isto shrugged slightly in reply, remaining silent until he had completely finished his pancake. Finally he glanced up, smiling faintly. "Same thing I told you, I suppose. If someone else hasn't told her already... Mauli was going to tell Lenta, and she's bound to have told Moo..." He trailed off, sighing.

His fingers twined with Slush's, smile growing somewhat with his words. "Yeah... I'd really appreciate it if you came... And then we could tell her we're engaged, which should distract her...." Isto chuckled softly, shaking his head. "I've really no idea what to expect from her on either subject."

If Isto found anything strange with Slush's behavior, he didn't mention it. Who would? Kisses, kisses, kisses..... Oh yeah, Isto wasn't complaining. He chuckled softly as they parted, nodding slightly and flashing Slush a grin. "Sounds good to me. Actually...we could do that first, if you'd rather. The longer I'm gone, the more time Moo'll have to calm down." It was hard to tell whether he was joking or not.

"Might as well wait," Isto replied, shivering slightly. "S'chilly in here. Must be pretty cold out there..." Good thing I didn't sleep outside, he thought. Slush's fingers running through his hair abruptly pulled him back to the present. He glanced up, chuckling softly with Slush 'suggestion'. He grinned, then yawned, leaning back in his chair, watching Slush stretch out of the corner of his eye.

Finally he rose to his feet, stepping aside and sliding his chair back into place. He flashed Nathan a grin, then fixed a bored expression on his face, shrugging and glancing up Slush. "Personally, I could do with a few more hours of sleep. First one there gets to decide, hmm?" Without waiting for a reply, he set out for the stairs, and from there up towards Slush's room.

Or perhaps Isto did know about the other stairs and had taken the main ones so that Slush would get there first. Either way, he was certainly taking his time, wandering calmly up the stairs and through the halls. Sincne Slush wasn't charging up the stairs after him, he fully expected the younger SM to have taken some other way and already be waiting, soo.... might as well make him suffer a bit longer, eh?

When he finally reached Slush's room, he paused outside the room for a moment before entering, yawning widely as he did so, kicking the door closed behind himself and heading straight for the bed. He collapsed onto the bed beside Slush and grabbed for the covers, yawning and pulling them over himself. "I win."
