The young rabbit girl sat on the floor of the wagon, painting some goose eggs. Once they were dry and she was content with their appearance, she placed them in white cloth bags that her mother made. Opening the door, she snuck out into the night and secretly delivered each egg.

That night, Silver and Ais would both have dreams. ...They were different- and yet- so the same.

Silver found herself in the midst of a great forest. She didn't know why she was there, for whatever had come before, was lost to the nebulous state of dreams. She knew, however, that she was angry. Angry at herself for being glad it wasn't HER child. Not hers that had been given to them... and she felt so guilty. The woods pressed in at all sides.

Ais would twitch in her sleep also, the dream projected upon her by the Binay. She was sitting in the wagon, staring out at the grass. There were white, shining stones on the ground. Then a voice came from the trees...

The stones... aren't for you. But take them....

Oqaia

"Thank you. I can always count on you and your family to be... acommodating, and kind." Her eyes did fall upon Aisrhans... for a mere moment. She couldn't decipher the look in her still so snake-like eyes- but she did not add forgiving to the list of traits, nonetheless. She didn't expect the child to forgive her so soon. But she feared what that feeling of betrayal would do to the girl, and what it would mean for her future.

And there was Khevashi. ...Valelldia sometimes forgot that the child existed, so fitted was he to his niche of illusion- he had completely hidden himself from her upon the wagon ordering ceremony... his name had not appeared on her list, however bolstered it had been with magic. And that change had caused the wagons to be ordered in a way that Illusion and Delusion were directly upon one another. That had caused a rift in the balance, Valelldia knew- but before she'd had a chance to correct the order, the meij had attempted to fix the situation itself, giving the final wagon in the caravan's highest power line- A Light in the Dark- the ultimate balance- Light... against Shadow.

Oqaia had told her half-sister of the shadow-creature that had sprung from its item stage quicker than any other, and how there was already havoc with poor Heather's family because of it. ...The fortunes were grim for that wagon, speaking of a great family rift, and rivalry that may create yet another Ash Forest, one day....

And all for the sake of this bird- so quiet, so still. Did he even know what he- or his element- had done to the wagon? Valelldia did not know- but felt uneasy, wondering on the future of this family.

That night, Silver would have a dream. No... no dream. A nightmare.

The snake-girl was beautiful. Revered, decked in gold and finery- in particular, a beautiful gold and red stone that she wore with a particularly vibrant smile.

But it was not as beautiful as it seemed. For the girl... killed. Silver did not know who- or why- she only knew in her heart as she watched the girl, she knew...

This girl has killed.

Mherudyn stared blankly at the wall and spoke without moving.

Not only can it hear you...
but it sees you as well.
You know the gypsy,
and you can save her.
and you can doom her.

Take your friends with you and be sorry.
Take your firends with you and grow.
Leave your firends there to die.
Leave your friends behind to mourn.

Your path is dark, the same way it started.
Your reek of nothing.
Nothing has no friends.
only nothing.

i can see you...
