Sibeiko I'm curious... has anyone here actually formulated strategies for corporations? I'd bet the answer is no... So, why do you think you can figure out what Sony's doing? Hell, if you've listened to enough corporate banter of ANY kind, then you'd realize that most of their explanations and tactics are crap... most... That's my two cents...both with the bad luck side up... x_x  Corporations... no...
Three different small companies... yes.
If you are interested, I started with helping my mom with her business, that went well and her business friends were all "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?!" and she sent them to me... a couple of them thought she was joking, but two of them took me seriously and it paid off. Now you know.

Correct Answer would be: No.
Admit? No.
Did Shortage on Purpose? Yes.
RELEASE DATE IS WHEN THINGS SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE PURCHASED WHEN EVER FELT.
NOT WHEN ONLY X NUMBER OF IT SHOULD BE OUT AND EVERYONE HAS TO WAIT. D':

Look at all of the free publicity it's generated. The hype surrounding it exploded with the demand. And the bad things helped, now because of the press, there are people who never thought they'd want a PS3 thinking "Wow it must be pretty special if they're killing eachother over it, I gots to gets me some of that!" It's brilliant strategy, however loathesome it is.

ACTUALLY, the reason why PS3 is in shortage isn't because it was their plan. They had told the US market that they'd be receiving 300,000 units. But only about 100,000 have been like reported, because it is taking Sony longer to manufacture them. 3nodding

I don't use Ebay...SO I ignore Ebay...I go to Wal-mart...On Thursdays and Fridays after work...When I got money...Buy music and games...That's where I go directly...Parents for let me use Ebay....
