Both adults seem to be sending secret messages to each other, like if they were speaking another language but silent. She didn't really get it though, but nodded anyways and hoped that in the future she won't change too much. She loved the way she is.
It seemed that silence had fell over them three, no words came from her. Just standing still, listening to the wind blow by.
Then there is the question 'bout the thing called love. It is what her mother and father have but what Zeda also never got. Maybe this should be the time to ask. "What is love? Will I catch it? Is it bad?" she asked tilting her head. Why did she care for this? Maybe for future reference? Well it's better to know than not knowing. She didn't want to look stupid or sound stupid when she gets older.
A buterfly found it's way to her nose and landed gently on it. Tickling her nose but it didn't cause her to sneeze. It stayed for a few seconds then flew up high into the sky. I wish I had wings.

No dagger glares came this time. Instead, Grencia kept his gaze averted and after a few moments, Yei finally released another of her sighs. Zeda should have known some form of love already, the love provided by a stable family. She wasn't entirely certain she could even explain what it was to the foal.
"There are many types of love...a love between friends, a love between family, a love for what exists around you and -"
"The Love which us doth bind But Fate so enviously debars Is the conjunction of the Mind, And opposition of the Stars"
Grencia interrupted her words and shook his head, there was some things Yei would never excel at explaining because she simply didn't know what they were herself. He was already well aware of the fact that she hadn't felt the type of love she was about to explain.
"The love shared between one soquili to another, a bond so deep that few can penetrate and understand the connection between the two." Grencia continued, "It is not always logical and very rarely makes sense - but it instils the pair with such hope and courage that they would do anything for one another." He took a breath, his chest rising and falling somewhat with each rush of air.
"Such a love is what results in little foals like you, the final love that she speaks of...creates life."
"And everyone deserves that, everyone ultimately receives it." Yei continued what she had previously been saying and flashed a smile, momentarily forgetting that Grencia was not someone she appreciated the company of - but he did so well around children.
"The other loves are friendships, something you already have...because you have friends. The other is for family - those who love you unconditionally. Your family may not be all you expect them to be and may come in the most unexpected of forms but they will support you in all things."
"While appreciation and love for your surroundings, is treasuring everything you love most in the world."
"Like berries!"

All she could do was blink. Many long words and so hard to follow. "Uhm ok." she decided not to ask anymore seeing Yei doesn't seem too happy with her last questions.
Although she tried to get what it meant. It has been a long day full of questions, but Zeda enjoyed it pretty much. She had learnt many things. The night was getting dark. She must be heading home soon. Hoem was the onyl way she knew the root to. "I'd better be going now." smiling at the two. "Thanks, for all the help..." The foal began walking in the direction of her place. Life is an adventure and full of things to discover.
(( Zeda is an adult now n_n Maybe sometime we could have her bump into Yei and Grencia again *giggles* ))

//xD Well, it would be an educational experience for Zeda to say the least!
"Be safe, Zeda." Yei replied as she watched the filly go. She was aware of the child's independence and so, she merely watched her go. There was very little she could say and there was still a nagging feeling that this adult had missed something very important.
...She really hoped 'home' provided Zeda with the support she needed.
"Perhaps our paths will cross again." She mused, swivelling her ears as the sound of the faint hoof beats vanished. The mare still refused to move until she was certain she had gone, just in case she changed her mind.
"And you - " She glanced at Grencia for a long while, "Should be thanked." She added bluntly, failing to elaborate as at last she made her own way home...
