Chu'mana had found herself a small secluded clearing surrounded by a thick of trees. Laying on her side, she had curled herself around three colorful baskets that resembled her and her mate. Her sides rose and fell quickly as tiredness from birthing had made way. Noseing each basket carefully, her ears perked as the sound of hooves was coming her way. She hoped it was her mate and not some unexcpected stranger.

As he approached, he smelt the most wonderful smell, mixed with the scent of Chu'mana. All his fears gave way to a spiritual feeling that it was that time. As he steped into the area where her smell was the heaviest, there she was. Beside her were three little stars, in the forms of baskets. He moved with grace over to her, and knelt in by her side. Sweet, sweet, Chu'. I love you. Are you okay?

Her eyes fluttered open wider as she lifted her head to the sound of Hok'ee's voice. Smiling, she nodded her head. "Yes, I'm just fine. And so are they." Slowly she motioned towards the three baskets she curled herself around. "Looks like we're going to have a few handfulls now."

He had a twinkle to his eye as he looked with her at the baskets. How wonderful it was to have their own foals, and three of them at that! How special indeed, this number of three. He curled up behind Chu', and placed his head over her side. He nickered softly at the baskets, and then looked over to his mate. "We will have our work cut out for us, no doubt about that. We'll have to pick names for the straping young boys too." What would he do if they were all girls?
From inside one of the baskets, the black one, with the faint green markings on it, came a faint rustle. Life must be so simple for a soquili, when waiting and growing inside.

Chu'mana closed her eyes momentarily as a soft smile came to her lips. Laying there with her three baskets and her mate just made her not want this moment to end. But eventually they would have three foals running about to keep track of. Her ear twisted backwards as she listened to him speak then let out a soft giggle. "What if there are girls too? Wouldn't they need names?"
The basket with the white mark around the top of it's lid shifted slightly as the small foal inside seemed to try and make itself more comfortable. Being in such a confined space was quite uncomfortable sometimes when you couldn't stretch your legs.

A puzzled look crossed Hok'ee's face. Girls?? "A girl would be okay, she'd be as beautiful as you no doubt. There better be some straping young Hok'ee's in there though. How else would they carry on the legacy of my greatness?" He didn't say it in a cocky way, but more with the greatest sincerity. "I at least need one mini-me running around this place." He said to Chu with a grin and a wink.

Shaking her head again, she nuzzled Hok'ee lovingly on the cheek. "Even if their girls they can still carry on your legacy of greatness." Her bright green eyes turned towards the baskets. They were so sturdy yet fragile things. Who knew what lay inside each one. "I'm sure there'll be at least one boy. But there's always the chance that we could get all girls as well. Or all boys even. We'll just have to wait and see when they're ready to come out."

Hok'ee thought about the idea for a second, all girls.. "It would be okay if they were all girls, surely each as beautiful as you." He said with a wink-nudge. He then looked back at the baskets and huffed at the one closest to him. He sat with his eyes peeled, waiting for anything to happen. He was patient, and would wait as long as the little ones needed.

She smiled warmly at her mate for a moment before nudging the baskets closer together. Didn't need them getting colds before they even came out of their baskets! "Are you waiting for it to do some kind of trick?" Chu raised an eyebrow as she watched her mate who seemed to be staring intently at the basket closest to him.

The young one in the basket stretched out a little, making the basket rustle slightly.
His eyes went wide with wonder and he looked back at Chu. "Did you see that? I don't want to miss anything." He said as he glanced at the other two baskets, then back to his mate. He was like a big kid, waiting on a present to open. He leaned over and whispered to the baskets. "Hello tiny little foals, are you cozy in there?"
Another thought laid in the back of Hok'ee's mind, how would they take care of all three? It was their first time as parents after all.
((Edit: Just noticed I've been using the wrong rp color on Hok'ee. ^^; ))

The other foal began to rustle around a bit inside the basket, making the basket move a little as it did, bumping very lightly into the baskets around.

((*chuckles*))
Chu gave another giggle and shook her head. "Well, just don't go letting your eyes dry out from watching them." Her curly tail flicked back and forth across the grass as she watched the baskets protectivly. Leaning forward, she touched her nose to the edge of one of the baskets.
All of a sudden the basket started to move around violently. Small grunts and grumbles came from within and soon a little white nose popped out between the lid. Little nostrils sucked in the air from the outside as the basket settled again for the moment.

Hok'ee's face lit up with glee! The baskets were bumbling about, and one foal stuck it's cute little muzzle out of it's basket. He leaned in close, not touching, but letting the warm air of his breath fall on the little ones white nose. He smiled and pulled his head back to gleam at Chu with the sappiest, heart felt grin.
(Vasu'Raj) One of the foals startled at the motion and paused with his eyes wide. Then suddenly, he let out a ringing giggle and stirred in the same moment. One of his hooves popped out of one of the seams in the basket. He looked down with wonder, then attempted to pull it back in. In all his movements, he was tearing apart his basket, but getting more tangled in the process, as another hoove popped out.

The first soquili to be born originally was the last foal to try and leave the comfort of her basket. A little after the others began to emerge from their baskets she began to move around inside again making the basket shake more. She let out a soft little whinny and pushed the top of the basket up a bit looking out with her little green eyes before going back in for a moment.
After a little more moving around inside the basket, the basket began to shake harder and tipped over on its side. When it did so, out rolled the little filly onto the grass.

She watched silently for a moment as her babies started to emerge from their baskets one by one. Leaning over she nuzzled Hok'ee lovingly before turning her attention back to the baskets. Giving a quick lick to Vasu'Raj's leg, she giggled lightly. "Looks like he's having a bit of a hard time." As the little filly rolled out of her basket, Chu smiled and nickered at her softly.
As the warm breath touched his nose, the foal rumbled about in it's basket. Suddenly the lid popped open as the colt emerged. He teetered on unsteady legs before stumbling out of his basket only to fall over with a little whinny.
