I'd really like a remake for my favorite game of all time. But, the only thing I'd hesitate about is the voices. They'd most likely put in voices, like FFX, X-2, XII....I don't want a good storyline and graphics be ruined because the English voices aren't as great as the Japanese.
I mean, let's be honest, when we English peoples do dubbs, we totally ruin it! As if it's a personal joke to ruin something the Japanese made.
No, no. If they remade FFVII I say KEEP THE FREAKIN' VOICES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.<

We do our best and it turns out better than if it was in a foreign language to us. Id much rather the characters have voices, especially their English voices. And your second to last comment....think about how the Japanese must have felt making KH2 with the English mouth movements, since Disney set it up to be in English first and Japanese second.

I can sympathize with people who enjoy voices, I just prefer without. This is my oppinion and nothing more.
I prefered the Japanese voices with Advent Children, only because they got a lot of the characters right. I mean, in the English version they made RedXIII's voice British when he's obviously connected to Natives/Indians.
I'm just saying I prefer Japanese versions better than English. That's all.

Red XIII was British? He spoke one line. How could you pull that from the one line? I didnt hear any difference from a sophisticated American. A wise person if anything.

MaeVeus Here is what i'd like to see in a remake. Advent Children quality graphics. More side-quests. Option to play whoever you want, if you wanted to play as barret as the lead, let it be that way. Fully customizable. The ability to let cloud weild two duel blades. Keep the materia system but maybe upgrade it in a few ways. Same combat system, just maybe no random encounters. Upgrade the soundtrack into orchasterical quality/remixes. Keep the storyline the same, because the storyline was perfect. And for the record I would personally buy a PS3 painted with the FFVII logo on it bundled with FFVII: remake and FFVII: AC special edition for like 800$ Dude, that sounds awsome, wish they would do that.

And I wouldn't want anything to be changed at all except for the grafics lol.
HOWEVER, If one thing HAD to be changed or SHOULD be changed, it'd be the fighting/battle system. I HATE taking turns... stare

One of the memories I have of FFVII is Cloud's blocky hands and that strange little frown he has on his face.
I would love it if they made a new FFVII all in the newly rendered 3D graphics like FFXII so we can really see Cloud and the others like we do in AC. However, If they did do a remake, I would like it to be for the PS2 since no way am I pay 600 dollars for a PS3 and then 75$ just to get the game.

if the game is remade, people might lose respect for the original on the PS. I think it should never be remade. It was and is perfect. No other Final Fantasy game comes close.

To most gamers the battle system of taking turns is one of the things that set it apart. I still can't stand FFXII's battle system, it doesn't give you an appreciation in using every character's skills yourself.

A FF VII remake would be cool, but the PS3 costs so much.
But most likely a FF VII remake will be made. Think about it. They have remade FF I-V so far, so most likely they will remake FF VII too.

they should have the new version of final fantasy VII on the PS2!!! not the PS3 (that thing costs a ton of money).

if they remake it, there should be no voices, just text boxes. I don't want it all ruined by a crummy Japanese or American voice actor that makes the person out sounding annoying!
