She stood trying to answer the questions as best as she could. "I came to these woods as a young pup." She said pausing before answering the other questions. "I did, but...I was seperated from them." She said softly, it was an awkward thing to say, but no doubt the truth. She had been very young during the time barely old enough to hunt for herself.

Akui sat down next to his mate, watching Noke and Nyx speak. He hadn't really caught her innduendo. He knew what they had been doing recently would inevitably lead to pups one day, but he wasn't sure if they union had come to fruit yet or not. He nuzzled Nyx a bit more, tail sweeping behind him.
"Noke turned out well, though, don't you think! She's growing into a very strong young wolf.
Perhaps later I should go back to river and see if there is anyone else around a know who might be interested in joining us. I want to keep out pack small, personal. But effective. Then we should really think abuot moving to our own land."

*Nyx relaxed her scrutinizing expression to a smile and give the adolescent a friendly lick to her face* well, I'd like to think that together we can form a new family *she looked back to Akui proudly, not yet putting words to the feeling that had been growing in her over the past few days... the intuition that only comes with being female and in a state such as her own.
My condolances for your separation. I myself was.... parted from my family when I was but a pup.... I was lucky to have survived in these woods. Be wary, though, Monenoke.... the ones that tread on two legs are never to be trusted.
*she looked back to Akui, wagging her tail* *Nyx beamed happily at the thought, things seeming to be settling quite well for her growing family, and she idly wondered what happened to the other female pups she had known growing up... though she was pretty sure that her reclusion after the bad run in with Nokota had pretty much isolated her from them.... wondering what if any packs they had joined*
That sounds wonderful, Akui. And yes, she is a very promising young wolf

Monenoke returned the lick. She nodded in agreement to all that was said. She then paused as Nyx mentioned two leggers. "Agree with that, I do." She said bobbing her head. She liked Nyx, Monenoke sat on her haunches just to rest while her tail still fanned the air. She smiled as they commented her, this was her true home. She sat there happily resting quietly so that her shoulder wouldn't bug her more then it already had.

Sabin Duvert *Some time has passed.... and there has not been a time in her life when Nyx's heart has been happier. She has all the things that she could have ever dreamed... a mate.... some real friends - the beginings of a close-knit pack of her very own.... and new life growing in her belly. Her den was cozy, and large enough to accomodate a litter of puppies... but perhaps this glen, while peaceful and close to several game paths, might not be able to support the beginings of a pack forever. She crawled out of the den carefully, her swollen belly tender, and sniffed around, looking for where Akui might have gone to* Kamiki Never leaving her sight for more than an hour or so at a time, Akui comes trotting into view quickly. Held held high, tail up and waving, sporting, quite proudly, a very large fish between his jaws. His fur looked extra shiney and a bit poofy from still being a bit damp, evidence of his fishing trip.
His eyes lit up upon seeing his mate, and he quickly dashed over to her, dropping the fish at her paws. "Hungry?" Sabin Duvert *Nyx's ears perked and her tail began wagging as she noted Akui's approach, happy to see him arriving back right after her nap. She trotted up to him and nuzzled him under his jaw. thank you, love. And yes, I.... *she smiled coyly We're quite hungry. And quite the catch - it looks wonderful.*after her greeting she bent down and proceeded to devour the fish quickly, hungry after having woken, and glad to have a mate who was skilled at hunting* I wish that I could have gone with you.... I miss the hunt.... though I dn't believe that it is practical any longer. But how fares you? And Monenoke?Kamiki Akui sat down beside her as she ate, nuzzling lovingly at her fur. "Eat well for them. I want a litter full of fat happy puppies, I do." He chuckled to himself happily, relaxing in the warm sun.
"No hunting for you now, love. Just relax and let Noke and I take care of you. You will be back to your beautiful active self soon enough. Once you've regained your strength, and the puppies are old enough, we should move to new land, don't you think? Maybe I should sent Noke scouting for some land.
"Speaking of Noke, she has said she met another wold willing to join us, help with you and the puppies. I'm anxious to meet her!" Sabin Duvert *Nyx finished her meal quickly and lay down by Akui's side, leaning against him and feeling comforted by her full belly and the warm presence of Akui. her tail thumped happily behind her - she didn't want this to end. But a worry gnawed at her as she remembered briefly what happened when she herself was a pup.... *slowly she nodded* A new one? That is indeed good news, Akui. I should like to meet her very much. She rolled enough to look Akui in the eyes Though it sounds that you are only collecting female packmates.... I shouldn't worry now should I, Akui...? The playful smile that played on her mouth showed her actual lack of concern, though it dissolved after a few moments. Though I do agree about finding our own territory... though I would like someone to stay close by when the pups come... someone to watch for danger as well as someone who is a strong hunter.... THe last thing I want is for one of us to inadvertantly lead danger to us. You have given me everything I could have wanted, Akui - you, my mate... a pack... and soon pups.... I just don't want to see it taken away... or worse, our new pack endangered by the two-legs who may not be far from here.Kamiki Akui gave her a reassuring nuzzle. "I have not met many other males, honestly. And those I have are already members of other packs." He nipped playfully at her ear. "Do not worry, my love. I have chosen you out of all the other females absolutely begging to be my mate." He winked, knowing Nyx knew that he met Noke when she was but a little pup.
"We will not stay from this territory until the pups are strong enough to hold their own for the travel. Don't worry, Nyx. No harm will come to you or our puppies. I will die protecting you before letting one of the nasty two legs come anywhere close to family. We will find a great land, maybe on the other side of river. Secluded, away from any two legs. I promise."
Having eaten before brining Nyx back her food, his full belly, the warm sun, and the feel of his precious mate beside him, Akui looked back over to the den. "Come," he said, rolling over. "Let's sleep alittle together in here a while. Then I will go back out and patrol."
He headed into the den, scratching around a bit and lying down with Nyx in the den, took a long, comforting sleep.

Sirenz Kamiki ((I think we should. Its okay if you can't stick around, Myst :3 Akui just really needs to meet Cheza))Akui pads into the meadow, head held high and proud. He's been on Cloud 9 ever since Nyx let him meet his daughters and son. Before they were born, he was a mess of nerves. Now, he feels much more relaxed. He knows they are still weak and helpless, but his confidence is up, and he knows he'll never be away from her for more than a alittle bit at time.
He's meandering towards the river to fish, but he decides to take a good long run, since he's been cramped up in the den for a few hours. He idly looks around for anyone he knows, feeling the urge to brag abut his pups like the proud father he is.
Cocking her head back, she sees a unfamilar wolf with a very unusual but neat coat of fur. "I imagine that wolf can blend in so good at night like a shadow" she thinks to herself as she wags her tail all friendly.Kamiki Akui slows as he sees another wolf in the river. She looks back at him and wags her tail. That's a good sign. Akui gives a friendly expression back, wagging his tail high and proud. He approaches in a dominent but friendly manner, reaches his muzzle out to sniff at her as he gets closer.
She smells.. very vaguely familiar. But he knows he's never met her. Must have smelt her on Nyx or Noke.
"Hello there, I'm Akui," he greets. Sirenz Cheza sits back on her haunches and looks shyly at the now approaching wolf. He pads on over with all this confidence that Cheza is startled at first but sees that he looks non-threatening.
"Could he be one of Noke's pack members? Maybe he is even the leader, I mean look how comfortable he is in his surroundings. He is most likely an Alpha or Beta" she whispers silently. The wolf now comes closer and she hears a strong voice saying his name is Akui. Such a proud name.
Cheza meets his gaze halfway because she feels somewhat inferior but looks him in the eye for a split second. "I'm called Cheza. Do you happen to belong to same pack as a wolf called Noke?" she says shyly..hoping that her voice didn't come out too quietly. Kamiki Akui's eyes lit up as she said her name. "Cheza? Yes, Noke is in my pack. She told me about you." He tried to soften his a voice a bit, not wanting to scare the submissive female. "She said you were looking for a pack yourself?" Sirenz Cheza begins to feel more relaxed around Akui and looks him in his kind eyes again. "That's right. I been journeying for a long time in the search of a pack to run with. Don't worry as I don't eat very much; if you throw me a scrap or two I'll be happy. Do you think I could join?" Cheza blurts out trying to act calm but still nervous all the same.
She hears some tiny whimpers in the distance and begins to think that this pack might have lots of young pups. Sirenz Kamiki Akui sat down and gave a comforting smile. "You don't have to worry abuot that! Its a small pack and we have plenty to eat! Speaking of, I have mouths to feed, I should be hunting... My mate just had puppies! Aw, Cheza, I can't wait for you to meet them! They are the most beautiful things you'll ever see!!
"You can earn your keep by helping Nyx, my mate, with the puppies. I'll show you to the den once I catch a few fish. Wanna help?"
"Awww I can't wait. Of course I will help out. I love puppies alot and I'm sure that yours are indeed beautiful" she said with more feeling to her voice. She was so incredibly excited and her wagging tail thumped loudly on the ground.
Cheza looked down at the fish swarming in the water by the bank of the river. These ones were extremely tiny and would not make a meal fitting of Akui and his family.
"I know there has to be much bigger fish farther out! I once caught one the size of a bear" she proudly boasted. This was sort of a wopper, because the big fish she was talking about squirmed out of her mouth at the last minute. Kamiki "Excellent! Welcome to the family, Cheza!
"So...show me these bear sized fish," he said with a nudge. "We'll grab a couple and take them back to the den!" Sirenz A frog slowly formed in Cheza's throat and she swallowed it hard. "Eeep...well those bear fish are mighty feisty. They swim in the deeper regions".
Now that Cheza thought about it, the fish she had almost caught was the size of a baby bear, but Akui didn't need to know that. She felt she had to impress him so she wouldn't end up being a weak addition to the pack like she had been many times before.
The river current was starting to get stronger. This time of year the river's delta sometimes let in massive trout from the lake. She hoped with all her might that some might be in the river waiting for them.
Sirenz Cheza suddenly saw a big splash ahead and a plump spotted fish jumped up in the air before tumbling back into the water.

Kamiki Kimaria (( I'll RP with you for a little bit if you want =3 )) ((Yay!)) Sneaking through the tall grass in a very stealthy manner (well, at least he thought he was being stealthy), a young silver pup made his way towards the river. The adreniline was racing through his puppy viens as he had not told his father, Akui, that he was going out. His protective parents had only recently even allowed the pups out of the den, and only then with strict supervision.
But both Akui and Nyx were asleep in the den, and Vashin's curiosity had got the better of him. After all, the day was just too perfect to spend sleeping it away. He had followed a playful crow out of the den and into the meadow by the river, and now was doing his best to sneak up on the large bird.Kimaria A young teen wolf who had been lying beside the river, muzzle cradled in his paws and eyes closed now caught an unfamiliar scent on the wind. His golden eyes opened to little slithers which shone with health as he raised his head slowly up to glance about him.
His wolf senses were finally beginning to become more tuned and he could already tell the stranger was close by. With a small huff the young white wolf got to his paws and shook his body vigorously, raising his muzzle and parting his jaws to howl a greeting.
He was not a territorial wolf and nor was he looking for a fight, his heart was too innocent for that, and so at a steady pace he trotted off in search of this new scent.
He had taken leave of his pack's territory earlier on that day, deciding that he wanted to do a bit of exploring and maybe find Kamali who had been missing for a while now. He had at first doubted he would even notice the pale green wolf was gone, but he had, and he missed his friend dearly.
He paused and sniffed tentatively at the air once more, drawing forth both ears as he heard movement and lowered himself instinctively. A million thoughts rushed through his mind but he never expected to see a little pup all by himself in the forest.
He gave a small bark, and raised himself again, peering cautiously at the silvery pup before him. Kamiki Vashin's ears peeked to full alert at the sound of the welcoming howl. With his attention deistracted momentarily, the crow gave a mocking caw and flew away over the river and dissapeared in the distance.
Vashin watched it go in dissapointment, but his attention immediately turned back to the sound of another wolf near by. He sniffed the air in long, deep puffs, and he caught the sent. However, by the time he got his bearings he turned around to almost came nose-to-nose with the other wolf.
Seeing the older wolf, Vashin lowered his head and gave a friendly expression, his tail waving back and forth in a nervous gesture of friendly intent. Kimaria Gizmo felt a sudden wave of relief flood through him, but glanced nervously about him anyway. Where were the little guy's parents? Were they close by? He sniffed once again at the air and after a moment was quite happy that there wasn't another wolf lurking somewhere in the trees around them.
He wagged his tail in reply and lowered his head a little, not quite used to seeing a wolf smaller than himself. Yet another reminder that he was no longer a dependant puppy.
The little wolf seemed friendly enough, and by the expression on his face he was content that he wasn't interrupting anything of great importance. With a small yip he sat back on his haunches, his tail brushing the ground.
Where parents? He asked, tilting his head curiously, why pup wander 'lone?. Kamiki "dey are close," Vashin said, excited to meet another wolf. "My daddy is resting with mommy and my siblin's. I was playing "catch the crow" but den I say you. Which is bedder den some silly crow anyway. My name is Vashin, what's yours?" He sputtered this all out rather quickly. He has never officially met any other wolves besides the ones in his pack, and everytime Akui took him out the den, he insisted Vashin stay by his side. Kimaria Gizmo's maw fell open and he panted in the wolf's equivelent to a laugh, his eyes shining as he tried to worm his way through the little wolf's words. How was it possible to talk that fast?
His tail wagged faster and he nodded his pale head, lowering it further to get a better view of the pup. It really was a bother to be bigger than someone you were talking to.
I be Gizmo. He replied after he had finished his little speech and smiled, I never played catch the crow before. I had a friend crow but he flew 'way. He frowned a little and his eyes fogged over in thought. Vashin live near here? Kamiki "Dere are two crows that live 'round us that never go 'way, no matter how much daddy barks at 'em."
Vashin's tail wagged quickly back and forth, barely being able to keep himself still from excitement. "Nice to meet you Geeezmo," he barked out, hoping he said it right. "Yup, I live close by daddy and mommy say as soon as we're big and strong enough we're moving to place of out town. But I think I'm ready enough already, but my sisters aren't a stwong as me..."
Cut off mid-sentence, a powerful, slightly upset-sounding howl echoed from out the thicket in the distance. Vashin immediately shut his trap in a meek yelp, and flattened himself against the ground.
"Uh oh, dat's my daddy. I have to be goin' home now... dank you for taklin' to me..." he rattled off, tucking his tail and skittering off as fast as his four little legs would carry him.((Sorry I have to cut it short >< The computer labs gettering really busy and there are people needing to do, ya know, like school work and stuff XD Thanks for the RP! heart heart ))

Kamiki Vashin strided along the river, very happy his parents were finally allowing him to wander outside the den without their STRICT supervision. He was taking his new "little sister" Sydian out for a walk. Sydian, who just a few days before was near starvation and exhaustian, was now feeling a lot better. Her new pack fed her well, and she was even able to nurse off Nyx's lingering milk since her puppies were all eating solid foods now. Now clean and feeling much better, she was working on regaining her strength back.  Kamiki ((thanks heart )) Vashin sat down by the river and nodded over to Sydian to take a rest and a drink. He lifted his nose to the air and sniffed around. He had heard Akui and Nyx murmering abuot some new faces around the land, and his curiosity was getting the better of him. He was itching to meet some new wolves (especially females heart ^_~), and was hoping to run into a few of them while walking with Sydian.The smaller black wolf looked thankful for the break. She understood that she had to get her strength up soon, because her new pack was going to move to new territory soon. Leaning carefully over the water, she took a few long drinks before laying down close to Vashin.Nienna Ellensar Whisper wagged her tail as she learned that she would have Vitus' support in the hunt. After watching the rabbit for a moment longer, she bolted from where she stood. Hoping he would follow, she gave chase to their prey, going in the direction of a river that was nearby. Yakobi Seeing Whisper dash off, he sprung up quickly chasing after the female and the 'rabbit'. He could see their possible prey now and flashes of memories came back to him. Yes, he had seen these 'rabbits' before. His claws dug into the ground before releasing allowing him to bound forward quickly without loosing his balance, his tail also was helpign him from toppling over.
Kamiki Vashin's ear flicked as he heard movement in the distance. He cought scent of a scared rabit just as one darted by in the distance, running for it life at its top speed. Its little white cottontail contrasted against the dark green of the grass as its paws picked up a small cloud of dust as it raced towards the treeline.
Vashin turned his gaze to where it had run from, wondering who was chasing it. Ary Keeyara After leaving the other pups a while ago Ieshia had flopped down into a bed of ferns. She had rolled onto her back, feet curled up against her body and taken a small nap. Depending on her mood she could either be a light or heavy sleeper. Since she wasn't really all that tired she slept with her ears wide open, catching the sounds around her. She was awoken by the sounds of voices and the scents of other wolves near by. Turning over she pushed herself up and decided to see what was up. She lowered herself to the ground as she grew close. Finally she caught sight of the other pups and an adolecent. Kamiki Vashin's ears flicked some more as he thought he heard yet another body approaching.
Standing up and wagging his tail in a friendly manner, he leaned his head back and gave a soft howl, welcoming any pups nearby.Sydian sat up, looking up at Vashin curiously. "Wad dat for?""There are some other pups nearby. I'm letting them know where we are so we can meet them. Perhaps make some new friends." Ary Keeyara One of her black ears turned to one side, catching the sound of the howl clearly. An invitaion? A smile crossed her red maw. This might be very interesting after all. Pulling her ears forward she bounded through the underbrush, dodging the trees. She emerged by the water where a spotted pup and an adolecant wolf were. She opened her mouth in a wolfish grin, golden eyes gazing at them, "You called?" Kamiki Sydian took a step behind Vashin, nervously. She was very nervous around strangers...the only thing that had let her make contact with Akui and Nyx a few days before was her maddening hunger. Vashin smiled at the brightly colored up. "Hello there!" he said, giving a charming step and flash of his teeth in a dramatic wolfy smile. "My name is Vashin. And this..." he stepped to the side, revealing the black puppy futilly trying to hide between his lanky legs. "is Sydian. I heard there were a few new pups in the area. I was hoping to meet a few of them!" Nienna Ellensar Whisper continued the chase until she stumbled over her own paws. She was clumsy at times and simply just had bad luck. But her bad luck didn't take effect quite so much this time. When she stumbled, she rammed into the rabbit, knocking it down and out. Acting quickly, she had bite its neck so as to kill it. Once she was sure it was dead, she turned around to face Vitus. Using her weird way of speaking she asked, "Eat now?" It was then that she noticed the other wolves near the river. Instantly fearful, she drew her ears against her head and her tail between her legs. Kamiki Vashin's nostrils filled with the scent of blood nearby. Following it, he spotted two other pups huddled around the rabbit he saw earlier. So much for his getaway.
Vashin wagged his tail dramatically and gave a bark in their direction. Indicating to them that he knew they were there, and wasnt interested in taking their kill. Ary Keeyara She couldn't help but be amused by Vashin's flashy style. Yes, she believed this would be fun. She moved her gaze onto Sydian and smiled slightly, her responce directed toward both of them, "I'm Ieshia, and I'm one of those 'new pups' you could say. Nice to meet you." She sat on her haunches, her black tail swishing to one side slightly. Nienna Ellensar The little female nodded her understanding yet continued to hold this nervous stance. She had some difficulty with all of the other wolves before and now it was happening it again. Unable to help it, she cautiously sat down but kept her guard up. These new wolves didn't give her reason to not trust them, but it didn't hurt to be careful. Her dark orbs glanced over at Vitus. Her stomach growled louder than ever now and she had a hard time trying to ignore it. But yet again, hunger won her over and she dug into the fresh meat of rabbit. It tasted sweet and warm and satisfied her hunger. Before she finished, she made sure to leave plenty for Vitus. He had helped after all. Kamiki "Nice to meet you, Iesha! Always a pleasure!" Vashin's tail continued to wag, always happy to meet new wolves. "So tell me, where did you come from?" Yakobi Vitus licked his chops, but before he could say anything to Whisper a bark filled the air. He turned to see three other wolves. His tail casiously tucked itself between his legs. Glancing back at the rabbit carcas he nipped off a piece of the meat Whisper had left and began to chew on it, savoring each bite. The taste was wonderous and he quickly filled him. After he had eaten his full of the creature he began to slowly lick the bits of blood off his paws, ears listing to the other wolves that were ahead.
Ary Keeyara Ieshia's ears pulled back slightly as she tilted her maw upwards and slightly to the side. Her eyes drifted to the sky, tail lifting slightly as she did so. Her voice was rather blunt and yet laid back at the same time, "It doesn't really matter where I came from...it's not as if I brought anyone with me." In reality, she wasn't entirely sure where she was from. All memories of her pack and old lands were too hazy to be able to use in describing it to others. Nienna Ellensar Whisper cocked her head at these new wolves. The older of them seemed to be bright and cheery. Her tail wagged at this. After licking most of the blood off from around her mouth, she decided it would be best to give her mouth a good wash. Picking a certain spot, so as not to make blood go into a place where the other wolves might drink from, she waded in and dipped her muzzle into the cool water. Kamiki Vashin nodded. "Just curious is all. I was born here, but thats a rarity. Most of the wolve's 'round have gathered here from somewhere else. Both my parents did, I know that.
Anyway, I should be getting Sydian back home. We don't give very far. It was nice to meet you! Maybe I'll came later if your still here? Would love to talk some more!
Giving a dramatic dip in his posture, almost a bow, Vashin gave a last dashing toothy grin and nosed Sydian off towards the densite.((Gotta jet for a bit))

Nienna Ellensar (( *Yawns 'cause she just woke up* I'm the only one here right now, aren't I? >.< Well, I'm gonna RP Whisper if anyone wants to socialize with a new pup. ))
The little green furball had been sleeping near the river peacefully. Nothing had happened and no one had done anything to her or to bring her out of her sleep.. until now. For a moment, her ears twitched in her sleep to the sound of wolves howling. It took a moment for her to actually wake up and realize that these howls were produced by bigger, more powerful wolves. For a split second, her fur stood on end and she was unable to move. The sounds were so loud, so deep, and sent shivers down her spine.
Trying to think quickly, she rose to her paws. Her head twisted frantically from side to side, making sure no one had a chance to sneak up on her. Sure, she could probably scent someone before they actually reached her, but she was too scared, too frightened, to think straight. Pivoting on her hind paws, she pointed her nose towards the forest and ran. She was trying to make it so it would be difficult to find her, but unknowingly, she was yipping and whimpering loudly as she went. Kamiki In the early morning chill of the forest, Akui and Vashin feasted on the deer they had just slain. They were both eating their fill so the rest of the carcass could be dragged back to the den for Nyx and the rest of their small pack.
Hearing whimpering and running, the two males exchanged glances before Akui licked his chops clean and went to investigate. Ary Keeyara Ieshia slid through the forest undergrowth low to the ground, almost like a cat. Her ears slid around on her head as she caught sounds of howls and barks. She turned her head sightly, tail twiching over to one side. Slowly she pulled herself to full height, which wasn't much, and headed off toward the sounds in small leaps and bounds. Her movements weren't quick, however. She seemed to be taking her time. Whether she found out who was there or not didn't matter so much to her. However, boredom was something that bothered her to know end. This gave her something interesting to do. Kimaria This was getting rather scary to be sure, at first the wolf had believed himself alone, except maybe for Feanaro who he was sure he had heard, but now he could hear movement and it seemed to be coming from all around him.
His tail moved to tuck between his legs and he lowered himself partially to the ground, turning his head this way and that to check the trees for life. He knew this land was owned by no pack, but it did not make the prospect any less scarier, he was alone and still young, an easy target for a full grown wolf with experience as a fighter.
Then suddenly he heard movement passing somewhere to his side and he turned slowly, spying a flash of red fur between the trees. A pup?
He raised himself a little and gave a small welcoming bark, the wolf equivelent to a: 'hello'. Nienna Ellensar Whisper suddenly stopped in mid-step. A scent had filled her nose, one of fresh meat and some wolves. The meat made her mouth water where the wolves made her stay back. From what she could tell, they were much older and probably shouldn't be messed with if they had won the meat themselves. She was still whimpering, just not running anymore. She had gotten herself lost and she pulled her tail between her legs, not bothering to hide her fear from anyone who could be watching.
(( Ok, now I must go then come back later. >.< Bye for now. )) Kamiki Akui stopped in his tracks at the obvious fear the small greenish pup was showing. "Hey there," he said calmly, evenly. His stance had a dominant, but non-aggressive air. "He took a few cautious steps forward. "No need to be afraid, I won't hurt you. My name is Akui, whats yours?" the older male inquired. Ary Keeyara After finishing a jump and landing upon a small fern Ieshia heard a bark. Cocking her head curiously she peered with gold orbs through the shadows of the woodland around her. Her tail lifted out of habbit as she seached carefully, her nose twitching to catch a scent.
It was of a wolf she had never met before. That wasn't surprising to her. She had met a lot of new wolves of late. Finally she saw a form of white and brown, knowing this was the wolf that had called out to her. Taking up an easy going trot she headed toward him, giving a small puppy bark in reply; an easy going, informal hello. His greeting had seemed friendly enough, so she felt no real need to fear him. Kamiki Back at the kill, Vashin's ear flicked as he heard a familiar bark-like-greeting in the distance. Was that the wolf me met just a while ago... that time he snuck out and got severely repremanded when he got home...
Gizmo, that was his name, wasn't it?
Hesitant to leave the kill, Vashin lifted his head back in a welcoming howl. Kimaria Gizmo relaxed at the sight of the small ruby coloured wolf and wagged his tail softly in reply. She seemed extremely friendly and not one to be scared of, especially since she was still rather small.
He took note of her sparkling golden eyes and took a step forward to meet her, lowering his head a little to make speech easier.
Although Gizmo was older, being the runt of the litter had also stunted his growth, and he would never be a large or powerful male. This did not bother him however, he was used to being the smallest and it was easier to slip around unnoticed too.
Hello. He said calmly, drawing forth both ears in greeting, You 'lone? He sniffed experimentally at the air, and wondered if the nearby wolves were her family.
He froze however when he heard a nearby howl and twitched his ears, that too sounded familiar. This certainly was turning out to be a rather strange day. He rose his head and gave a louder bark in reply. shia-san Day number 3. Soul lay on her side, in a open patch of grass, picking large ticks off her paws, and spitting them to the side. Her nose flared as new scents filled it, yet she chose to ignore the howling and barking. For some reason, she had felt an unwarming welcome back to the woods. Although it was probably because everytime she went to speak with a wolf, they were busy with other matters. Souls ears stayed alert though, one howl in perticular was close by, and she wasn't about to have a wolf come and invade her privacy. Her eyes began to close as she licked her paws clean, then gently laid her head between her forepaws, yet, before she could fall asleep, the gurgle of hunger struck her, as the arouma of deer filled her nostrials. She whined softly. 'food...' but felt to lazy to stand. Later, after she bask in the sun, she'd get food. Kamiki Vashin looked down at the kill and took one last bite before trotting off towards the other wolves. At the very least, he could catch something else later. His father was teaching him to be a very efficient hunter.
Seeing not one.. but TWO wolves he has met previously, his eyes lit up. Padding over wagging his tail, Vashin gave a huge wolfish smile.
"Hello, remember me guys?" Ary Keeyara A small grin flowed over Ieshia's maw, her ears pricking rather high on her head. As he noticed her size she couldn't help but notice his. He was smaller, compared to Vashin she had met the day before. She really didn't take it much into account. So he wasn't as big as some?
As he asked if she was alone she let out a breath through her nose. Everyone seemed to ask her that lately. Was it such a bad thing to be by yourself? Parting her small jaws she replied, "Yeah...I'm alone." Her tone of voice was casual, for she was alone almost everyday.
Suddenly she caught sight of Vashin and her little pup grin grew. Her tail swished to the other side and she let out a happy yip in greeting, "Hi Vashin." He had run off so quickly the other day she hadn't really gotten to know him, but she had found him extremely amusing. Kimaria Gizmo glanced up, his eyes settling on the familiar form of a silver wolf and he took a small step back. Surely that couldn't be the same pup he had met not too long ago? He was big! As big as himself even! It was nice to see the young male again, especially since their meeting had been cut short before.
He remembered the howl he had heard, Vashin's dad and couldn't help but feel a little nervous, was he around here somewhere? Well he was sure that everything would be okay, it just had to be.
Was this little red wolf a relative of his? He tilted his head in her direction and decided this probably wasn't the case, there seemed to be too big an age difference.
You like bein 'lone? He asked the little wolf, remembering what it had been like for him when he had wandered the forest by himself.
Vashin be big now. He added to the silver wolf in greeting, his tail wagging fiercely. shia-san Soul lay there, eyes shut tightly, tring to sleep, but couldn't. Her stomach just wouldn't stop. She slowly stood, with a grumble, and shook her head slightly. Her tail curling about her hind legs. She sat, eyes hanging slightly, sun shinging about her. Her ears swirling about, listening to the sounds of the woods. She then stood up, and stretched her tense muscles. Her maw covered in dirt. She shook her pelt of the access dirt, then stood there for a moment. Soaking in her last minute of direct sunlight. She then rolled her head back, and let out a howl. One asking if anyone she knew was around...and if not, she'd move on possibly? Kamiki Vashin seemed very pleased Ieshia remembered his named. He puffed a bit, his tail continuing to wag. "Hi Ieshia!" He looked rather proud of himself.
He looked towards Gizmo, and lowered his ears a bit modestly. "I guess so! Akui's been teaching me to hunt, so I've been eating a lot." His ears pricked back up as a thought crossed his mind.
"Hey, are you guys hungry?" He pawed lightly at the ground and looked back over his shoulder. "I have deer I killed and, well, you guys can come help me finish it off if you want!" He convienantly forgot to mention Akui did most of the work, or the fact the rest was susposed to be for Nyx and his sisters... but he wasn' very worried. He could just catch another deer, right? Kamiki Akui and Vashin both hear the friendly howl of another wolf, and respond in kind. Ary Keeyara Ieshia titled her muzzle upwards slightly as she thought of the best answer to Gizmo's question. There wasn't much she could do about being along anyway, she mused. She replied with a small wolf like shrug, "It's not like I have much of a choice...but I am used to it by now."
She glanced at Vashin and smiled at his excitement. Yes, he was very entertaining. At the mention of food her eyes glittered. She could feel the saliva in her mouth, heavy and sticky as it was. Thinking little of who else the food might also belong to Ieshia agreed, "Alright, if you don't mind." shia-san Souls ears, not ready for the return call, flick and make her jolt slightly. She stood, tail wagging now, and began off towards the return call. Although she couldn't make out whom the wolves were, she could sense a kindness in the lot. Her fur twitched slightly as she trudged fowards, tail curled half-way. As she reached the site, she could spot three older wolves, and some young pups. She let out a bark, a welcoming alert of her approaching. Kimaria Gizmo nodded his slender muzzle, trying to remember the last time he had eaten...it had been a while. He glanced down at the red pup beside him and his maw parted in a wolfish smile. It was so good to be out and meeting new wolves. This was what life was all about!
His tail continued to wag as he took a few paces towards the silver male, I be hungry, yes. He said a little sheepishly, pawing at the ground. I no eat for while, be looking for friend and forget all other things.
His ears pick up as yet another howl echoes around them and he turns his head in the direction, remaining silent as he hears Vashin and another wolf reply. The forest was alive with his brethren and he hadn't even realised it!
At the red wolf's words he felt his heart drop a little, she was so much like him it was like looking at a mirror (if you overlook the colour of their fur). He nudged at her with his nose, You like me, I used think like that.
He then trotted over to stand beside Vashin, glancing over his shoulder to make sure she was following. He wouldn't leave her alone. Kamiki "Great!" Vashin turned and started back into the wood, looking behind his soulder to make sure they were following. It was only a little way to the carcass. Chasing off a few crows and a rat that had started to claim the kill, Vashin sat down next to it, indicating thet they could have their fill. There's a decent portion eaten by Akui and Vashin themselves, but plenty remained. Nienna Ellensar (( Back.. sorry for taking so long. ))
Whisper pulled her tail between her legs and lowered her body as the older wolf came upon her. He had assured her that he wouldn't hurt her, but it was habit to cringe in fear now, especially since that fear was real. Whimpering slightly, she managed to get out her name, "Whisper.." Her legs began to shake from her little muscles being so tense. Kamiki Vashin tilted his head at Gizmo. "If you're hungry... you should eat...?"
He stood up, hearing the other wolf return his howl. When Soul came into site (score...another female), he gave a friendly greeting, gesturing to the kill. "Hungry?" Ary Keeyara Ieshia's ears twitched thoughtfully at Gizmo's words. Pushing it from her mind she got to her feet. She bounded after the two adolecents quickly, trying to keep up with their pace. She did a pretty good job for a little pup, but no more then was expected for one her age.
Upon reaching the carcass she took in a huge breath of air, taking in the sweet scent of fresh meat. Her tail wagged from side to side to show her pleasure. After seeing Vashin give them a gesture that they could eat she raced over, digging her baby teeth into the raw flesh. Kimaria Gizmo sniffed at the meat and couldn't believe how wonderful it smelt! His mouth watered as he took a small piece and chewed gently, eyes fixed on those around him instead of the meal. He was still a little nervous about the other wolves around, but he decided that if something did happen then he would have to deal with it in a calm manner.
His ears twitched as he heard yet another welcoming bark and he raised his head to spy a rather beautiful looking female approaching. She also seemed to be rather friendly and his tail wagged automatically as his admiring gaze followed her movements. Kamiki Akui's brow knit as the little puppy shook in fear.
"Hi Whisper," he said softly, making his voice gentle as possible. He lowered himself a bit, putting his belly the ground. "Are you alone? Lost? Do you need some food, Little One?" shia-san (xD!!) Soul wagged her tail slightly.Her tounge making its round about her maw, and quickly walked towards the deer. Its aroma smelt pleasant, and made soul drool thick saliva. She moved about the other wolves and sniffed the thick hide of the hind leg, and she quickly dug into it. Tring not to seem starving. She rose her head, her face covered with blood and bits of meat, and grinned slightly. 'Th-ank you' She smiled again and shuved her head into the meat once more, devouring it hungrily. Edit: soul rose her golden eyes towards the one called Gizmo, and couldn't help but smile while eating the meat. Her tail wagged slightly. So many male wolves ready for mating. xD Nienna Ellensar Whisper's shaking eased a bit at the mention of food. She had eaten a rabbit earlier, but had slept it off during the night. Nodding her head slightly, she spoke softly, "Alone.. maybe lost. I had rabbit.. but slept it off." She hoped the older wolf understood her. She had a strange habit when she spoke, a tendancy to speak as little words as was necessary. She didn't know if anyone could understand her. Kimaria Well the rusty coloured femme sure seemed hungry! He took a small step back, canting his head and letting his golden eyes watched her. Was she a friend of Vashin's too? The silver wolf sure was popular! It made him wish he had never left the freelands, it was so full of life.
His tail twitched and he sat back on his haunches, watching the older female and the younger one feast. It was good to be around so many wolves, very good indeed.
When the female turned to glance at him he tried to divert his gaze, oh she was so pretty! Her fur was like nothing he had ever seen before, so soft looking and snuggly...wait! What on earth was he thinking?
He gave a small whuff and turned his attention to more interesting things, like that tree...isn't it a strange shape! shia-san ((Soul: Daw! Such adorably sweet wolves ;.;! )) Soul quickly felt flushed as the wolf began to stare at her eating habits. She licked her chops, and suddenly felt rude. She just ran through and ate up their meat...She stood and walked over towards the male who had invited her to dine. 'I'm sorry, i'm so rude.' she started, her stomach filled to the rim 'I'm soul...I can help hunt another deer for you and you're friends....' she peered to the group of wolves then to the male once more, her ears flopped over slightly in shame. Kamiki "Hi I'm Vashin!" Vashin eagerly offered as Soul came closer. He did his best to puff himself up to look bigger and gave the biggest, toothiest smile he could muster. "Help yourself, I can always get more", he boasted.Meanwhile, Akui gave a friendly smile to the smaller pup. "I have some food you can have, do you want to follow me?" Slowly, and making her the little green Whisper stayed behind him, he made his way to the kill.
He gawked for moment at the growing congregation (and dwindling deer) that had gathered. "Uhm, go help yourself...." he offered to Whisper, after he recovered. There was still enough left for the pup, but it was rather obvious there would be slim pickings once everyone had their fill.
He leveled his gaze on Vashin, who was far too interested in a brown female at the moment to even barely notice he has returned. stare Ary Keeyara Ieshia nawed on the meat, savioring its taste and the slow feeling of getting full. The weight in her stomach began to grow and the rumbling of her tummy faded away. Glancing up from her eating with simply her eyes she saw the new, older female came to eat. Thinking little of it, she turned to finish what she had started.
Once she thought she had had enough she sat back and let out a contented sigh, her muzzle covered with blood though you could barely see it. She looked at Gizmo to see him oogling at the older female. She also noted his awkwardness and his new decision to stare at trees. Older boys were strange, she concluded.((lol, couldn't help it. For pups all it would be was 'oogling' cause they don't understand. XD )) Kimaria Gizmo watched, a strange feeling - maybe jealousy - stirring inside of him as the female went up to Vashin and began to speak to him. What was so good about him? he thought with a small tilt of his head. Well he was the one who gave her the food, when all he did was stare at her.
With a small sigh he got up and went over to the red pup, flopping down beside her and licking at a paw. Pup be full? He questioned, deciding to try and get to know her better, what be name? He thought he remembered Vashin calling her something, but what he didn't remember. shia-san Soul grinned to Vashin. Her tail swaying slightly. 'Nice to meet you Vashin, but I can and will help you catch another deer. Wasn't right for me to barge in and eat-' she was quickly silented by the sound of foot steps and a new scent approaching. She turned her head slightly, and her tail began to wag again. Soul quickly thought. 'Wow...i've found myself on hormone lane'Nienna Ellensar Whisper blinked at the older wolf then decided it was best if she just followed him. Instinctively she fell in line behind him, putting her paws almost in the same spot his had been. When they reached the deer, which was now almost gone, she stopped suddenly. There were a lot of wolves, too many for her tase. Nonetheless, she tried to calm herself and managed to not bolt away. Instead, she blinked at the others then hid behind the older wolf. From behind his legs she could easily watch the wolves around the kill.
There was a silvery wolf, the one she recognized as the one she had seen at the river, a red pup who had just finished eating, one beautiful female with soft and silky fur (XD), one wolf that was mostly white with spots of brown, and another which she didn't recognize. Whimpering to herself, she pulled back and tried to make herself invisible, impossible as it was. Kamiki Akui cleared his throat and took a few steps foward, imposing himself between Vashin and Soul. "Its quite allright, help yourself. Vashin needs the practice of catching a deer all by himself anyway," he gave a glare back towards his son, before flashing a handsome grin at her (like father like son...). "Its a pleasure to meet you! I'm Akui"
Giving his son another pointed look, he went over and sat beside Gizmo and Ieshia. "And who might you be?" Ary Keeyara Ieshia watched the interaction between Vashin, Gizmo, and Soul with little interest. Two males drooling over a female at her current age wasn't very amusing, though when she grew she might change her mind. Letting out a sigh through her nose she glanced at Gizmo who had decided to come lay down beside her.
Licking her mouth of blood, she pulled her right ear to once side to catch his question. Feeling the heavy feeling in her belly she knew she was full. She gave a small nod, flicking her tail to one side, "Yep, I'm full. As for my name, I'm Ieshia." Kamiki Akui looked back towards Whisper, noticing her hesitance. He took a bite of meat and ripped it from the carcas, going back over to where the pup was.
He layed the meat on the ground and nosed it closer to her. "Go ahead, its okay." shia-san Soul nodded 'Alright. Thank you again, but i'm full. I'll allow the pups to feast, pleasure meeting you as well. I'm guess you might be Vashin's father? ' she joked, And moved over towards a shaded spot to lie down. Nienna Ellensar Whisper, seeing that the male had gone to greet these unknown wolves, decided that it was best to stay clear. She vaguely remembered meal time in her old pack, the one she had for some reason left. The wolves snapped at each other, fighting for the last scrap of meat. Though it didn't seem that way here, she sat away from the others anyways.
EDIT: As the male who had found her in the first place came over with some meat, her white tipped tail wagged behind her. Maybe these wolves weren't so bad after all. Carefully taking the meat, she then set it on the ground. After glancing about for a moment, she began to munch on the tasty deer meat. Kimaria That pretty name Gizmo nodded, twitching his ears and sniffing at the meat once more before speaking again. Me Gizmo... He trailed off, canting his head as he wondered if she had already known that, his memory truly was terrible.
Then with a swish of his tail he nipped at one of ehr ears playfully only to find another scent filling his nose. He raised his eyes to that of a large male wolf...the alpha? Instantly he shrank back, seeming to hide behind the little pup (what a coward) his tail slinking between his legs as he peeked up at the large wolf through his tear-drop shaped eyes.
H-hello sir, I Giz-Gizm and a- He trailed off, staring fearfully up at the large male. Kamiki Ary Keeyara (( Yep, all da boys are after her. Ieshia : *is confused* I don't get it. )) Kamiki Aku tilted his head at the smaller male. "GizGiz is your name?" Ary Keeyara Ieshia felt Gizmo n** at her ear. Getting up as he pulled away she couldn't help but bit at him playfully in return. Seeing him cower however, made her turn around to see what she was looking at. She looked right at Akui and blinked her gold eyes, puzzled at Gismo's reaction to him. Yeah, she could tell he was an alpha but...did that make him mean and nasty? She smiled brightly at Akui, "Hello, sir! I'm Ieshia!" shia-san Soul chuckled slightly. 'Ah I see.' she rested her head on her forepaws once more 'there is a resembelence. Both in looks and nature' although she had only met them, they both acted like father and son. ((Soul: -speechless at all the attention- ;D)) Kimaria Gizmo turned his head to glance at the red pup, she didn't seem to have any fear and he supposed that it was a little silly to be scared of a wolf he didn't know. He guessed strange things just frightened him a little.
With a small wag of his tail he got up, nudging playfully at the pup who had introduced herself with no problem at all. He found courage in this and turned to glance up at the male, somewhat shyly.
No...Gizmo be name. He bowed his head a little. Kamiki ((Hey guys... where were we.....))Akui and Vashin exchanged a few more glances before Akui finally went back over to Gizmo and Iesha, keeping a watching eye on Whisper.Vashin gave another smile to Soul and layed down, yawning widely as his heavy stomach made him feel very relaxed. Kimaria (( Yah! I miss Aeria/Giz RP! but it's okay, you've been busy and that's totally understandable m'dear lol yes shopping on gaia is fun, but shopping in RL is bleugh...I dunno why, I just don't like it that much....maybe cos I'm lazy. If you guys wanted to do some RP whilst we wait for the others I don't mind. Edit: yay Kamiki is back whee )) shia-san Soul rolled over to her side. Not as gracefully as she expected. Her golden eyes peering about the group. Her white brows emotionless. She moved about till she found a comfortable position. Her stomach now beginning to ache... Kimaria (( Glad I'm not the only one who finds shopping horrid, all my friends think I'm really strange when I turn down an invite for a shopping excursion. you can have Aeria join us all here if you want. Gizmo came back to the freelands to find Kamali and met these new wolves, so you can say she followed his scent or something.)) Gizmo twitched his ears forward, yawning and returning to nibble at the left over meat. He felt a little more relaxed now, especially that it seemed the others meant him no harm.
His golden eyes moved over the small collection, brushing over the red form of the pup, the dark large figure of the alpha and then settled once again on Soul who was shifting into a more comfortable position.
He licked his lips and pulled a small piece of meat away from the carcass, chewing on it thoughtfully.Kamiki Vashin nonchalantly (kind of) scooted on his stomach closer to Soul. "So... whatcha doing in the freelands, a pretty lady like you?" Sirenz Cheza peeked out from the bushes at a member of her pack. "I don't think I've met that wolf yet"... blaugh shia-san Soul rose her head slightly. 'I needed to get away.' she peered up to the sky. The blueish white mixture was simply beautiful. 'I just wanted to come back to the woods inwhich I once lived. I missed it.' she smiled and then leaned her head on her forepaws. 'Life is so hectic when in a pack..Ya know?.' Kamiki Akui's ears perked up. "Hello Cheza! Help yourself..." Akui motioned to the dwindling remains of a deer carcass. "This is Soul, Iesha, and Gizmo." shia-san Soul let out a bark in welcome to the wolf she didn't know. Kamiki Vashin blinked and tilted his head. He had been raised ina pack since he was born, and it certainly didn't seem hectic to him. "I never thought it was that bad. Dad takes care of us really well." Ary Keeyara Ieshia snorted, rolling over on her back. She was already getting bored. How could the other wolves just stand around and talk? Puppy needs for entertainment were quick to consume her. Rolling over again she pushed herself to her feet, loping randomly around the area. Wasn't there anything interesting to do? Despite her full stomach she still wanted to do something where she could really get moving. She caught sight of Cheza coming over, but even this didn't hold her attention for long. shia-san Soul moved herself so she could speak with ease. 'Well....when you're an outsider, and you come to join a pack...its just hectic....now on you're part, you were born with in the pack. Its easier. For now that is.' she chuckled slightly. Friday_Dora ((Okay, sounds good. I'm sure she'd like to meet some new wolves. ^__^)) Aeria stepped cautiously into the freelands, stopping and then looking about intently. She had followed Gizmo's scent after waking and discovering he was gone, and it had led her out of the pack territory and to this point.
She sniffed the air a bit, noticing that it had grown stronger. There too were the scents of other wolves. Her ears flattened slightly out of concern. Were they enemies? Was Gizmo alright?
The young wolf began to walk slowly towards what she assumed would be a small gathering of wolves and, hopefully, Gizmo.Sirenz The omega wolf lifted her head up as she met the gaze of her pack member. A deer carcus was spread out in front of Akui and 3 other friendly looking wolves. Cheeza trotted over cautiously and sat on her haunches a few feet away. "Thank you!" she yapped as her stomach growled from hunger. How kind that these wolves were letting her eat with them instead of after them. lol Kimaria Gizmo looked up at yet another new face and gave a small yip. letting his tail wag very gently from where he lay, his attention sweeping back to the little crimson pup who had gotten up and was moving away.
He supposed all this lying about must be rather boring for such an energetic, adventurous pup as her and with a small yip he pulled himself back up onto his feet, and shook his fur vigorously.
With a small bark of warning he leapt over to her, raising a paw to tap at her hind legs. Kamiki "Oh..." Vashin still looked a bit confused. He didn't really see why it was complicated. Cheza and Noke didn't seem to have a problem...
..."Maybe you're not in the right pack?" Akui stood up as the new wolf approached, sniffing the wind. "Hello there." Ary Keeyara Ieshia yipped at the sudden attention, feeling the touches on her hind legs. She made a few, small, quick bounds to turn around and face Gizmo. She stood on her back feet and fastened his right ear between her baby teeth, playfully tugging on it. Her tail wagged from the new found game and her eyes sparkled with excitement. Friday_Dora Aeria tilted her head curiously as the black and blue wolf greeted her. She smiled slightly and nodded. Hello. I hope I'm not interrupting anything... I'm just looking for someone. Sirenz Cheza saw a mischevious firey red and black pup darting around whilst the adults were feasting. "Hello little one. What are you called?" Cheza barked happily. She loved wee pups and hoped to have one of her own someday.
She then saw Gizmo leap over the pup which made her giggle. "How silly!"
Another lovely wolf ((Aeria)) was coming towards the gathered wolves and seemed to approach with caution. Cheza wagged her tail and lifted her head to show that she was not a threat.
shia-san Soul laughed sheepishly. Now thinking of this...what if she was in the wrong pack...but Aoiko had grown so acustom to it...and Isaac...she sighed. She then quickly tried to change topics. 'Um...how is you're pack?' tring to start a converstation with a wolf she hadn't ever met before today was pretty hard, but doable at the least. Kimaria Gizmo tugged lightly in her grasp, giving a small bark of excitement as he reached out once more to pin down her tail which was wagging to and fro. Then leaning his weight sideways he rolled over onto his side, his four legs flailing in the air as he tried to bat at her face with the pads of his paws.
Then suddenly a familiar scent touched at his nose, a VERY familiar scent. This momentarily distracted him from the game, leaving an opening for the female to get in yet another play attack. Kamiki Vashin shifted his weight. "I love me pack, but its pretty small. My dad and mum are the alphas, so there's them, me and my two sisters. Then Noke, she's a purple lady who helped raise us, and Cheza over there. T hats really all... for now." Friday_Dora ((*waves to Shia* >D)) She noticed another wolf wagging her tail. She had lovely dappled coloring and seemed to be quite friendly. Aeria wagged her tail back in response.Ary Keeyara "Ieshia," She told Cheza, though the sound was muffled because of the ear in her mouth. Being distracted for a few moments, Gizmo was able to pin her tail, making her yap and let go of his ear. She nipped at his paws as they were suddenly in her face. When he suddenly stopped flailing she took her opening, jumping right on top of him and grabbing a knew hold on his ear. Sirenz Cheza giggled at Gizmo playing with the young pup.
She bent down and tore at the tasty flesh of the deer carcus. The body was still warm as if the kill had been made recently. Perhaps a few hours befor her arrival? Cheza preferred fresh meat to bones and scraps, which she usually had to eat being an Omega wolf. Before she knew it, she had eaten so much that her stomach began to hurt so she laid down nearby. Lifting her head, she watched the other activities of the wolves around her.
Kimaria Golden orbs widened in surprise as he glanced over and saw none other than Aeria! His heart skipped a beat and he suddenly wondered how she had found him? Would she be mad at him for leaving? He hadn't had a chance to explain to her that he had gone in search of Kam-Kam.
His stream of thoughts were interrupted as the red pup landed on him and he squirmed to break free, letting out a small squeak of surprise as her small puppy teeth clipped around his ear once more.
He parted his maw, tongue lolling as he wriggled to get free, his tail wagging madly as he rocked his body to try and throw her off balance. Oh to be beaten by a pup! What what Aeria think of him now?! Sirenz Another wolf was looking her way as Cheza basked in the sun. She stretched her body out and rolled over to meet the other's gaze.
"Hello there! I am called Cheza and I am a member of Akui and Nox's pack((i think)). What about you?

Outside the Packlands - Vashin and Crown Jewel
Vashin was fuming. Stalking quickly away from his packlands, the concerned female could barely keep up.
"Vashin?" She picked up her pace and came up beside him. "We should rest. We've been traveling for hours now. I'm tired."
The grey male stopped in his tracks and looked at the pretty purple wolf at his side. Giving a sigh, he sat down on the grass, a defeated look on his face. Jewel sat beside him, nuzzling up close. Her face was full of worry. "You should go home, Vashin."
He gaze her an incredulous look. "But Mother? I know her. She was serious. She will kill you if you go back."
Jewel looked away. "I know. I'm saying you should go home without me."
"Without you? But? I don't want to."
Jewel pushed her muzzle up under his chin. "I know? I don't want you to, either. But you have an obligation to your family. To your pack?"
Vashin squeezed his eyes closed. He knew she was right. As much as he cared for her, he couldn't just abandon his pack for her. He loved his family, and as much as he hated to admit it, Nyx's concerned held some real weight. Despite Jewel's good experience, Vashin was scared to death of the two-legs. Nyx's hatred wasn't unfounded. Her entire famlily had been slaughtered. Stubborn and paranoid or not, all she wanted to do was protect him and the pack. The two legs took everything she had from her. She had spent her whole life rebuilding a family. As much as he loved Jewel, her sympathies to the two-leggers could potentially become a problem if any of them tried to settle on their packlands.
Vashin has also worked his whole life to earn the respected position of Beta to the small (but growing) pack. He wasn't just handed the position since he was Akui's son. He was determine to be strong, smart, and willing to die to protect the wolves in his charge.
"Jewel.. I will talk to my father. I promise. And I'll come find you."
The purple furred wolf looked away. "I should go." She didn't want to admit how much she didn't want to go. Before things got to emotional, she quickly licked Vashin's snout, gave him a snuggle, and then with a whimper, she trotted off towards eastwards, disappearing into the thick forest.
Vashin rose to his feet as she left. He stood and just watched her until he couldn't see her form anymore. Then he continued to stare for several minutes before to head back home. They had been traveling for the better part of the day, and he knew he was rather far from the borders of his land.
As he started off on the long journey home, a faint, unfamiliar smell wafted across his nose. His fur immediately stood on end. Putting his nose the ground, he investigated. Odd smells? unnatural. Nothing like he has ever smelled before, yet it still stuck fear into his chest. He tried to catch a trail. Then suddenly he jerked up in realization. Jewel! Seconds later, he was running full speed into the Eastern woods, following Jewel's fresh scent into the forest.
Part Two
Vashin heard the crack split the air just before he burst out into a clearing. Jewel was sprawled on the ground, and the scent of blood flowed immediately into Vashin's nostrils. Enraged, the silver wolf focused in on the source of the nose - a two-legged standing before Jewel, a smoking musket in his hand. This was the first time Vashin had ever seen a two-legger, but all the stories he remembered his mother talking about suddenly flashed into his mind with startlingly clarity. These images of these two-legged monsters and their deadly sticks. With a rage Vashin had never felt, he leapt onto the man, a deadly growl exploding from his throat.
The man did not have time to reload his musket before Vashin was upon him. He sank his teeth deep into the crook between his neck and shoulder, using all the strength in his muscles to stay latched onto the man. He fell to the ground, but Vashin kept his jaw locked. The new taste of human blood exploded into his mouth, its warmth fueling the fire burning inside his chest. He was determined not to let go until every ounce of his life spilled onto the ground.
"Wait!"
Vashin's head cleared with Jewel's voice. He wrenched his teeth out of the man's flesh, causing him to scream in renewed pain as Vashin looked over to his mate. She was standing, walking steadily over to them with a severe limp from her damaged left hind leg. "You're alive?! But..." Vashin looked to the terrified man struggling on the ground, trying desperately to curb the bleeding from the wounds in his shoulder with his hands. Why would Jewel show mercy, every after trying to kill her?
"Let me," she snarled, getting closer. With a gleam of utter betrayel, she pounced on the man, ripping his throat out in a one smooth motion. Red blood stained across her beautiful lavender fur.
Looking a bit saddened, she let the lifeless body fall out of her jaw. She looked over to Vashin, the hurt reflecting in her sad eyes. Vashin was at her side in a second, licking bleeding wound on her leg. It wasn't very bad, he noticed, it looked as through the man had bad aim, and Jewel has already been on the retreat. Jewel has collapsed from the shock of it, and the suddenness of having her collapse from under her mid-run.
"I'm lucky, huh?" She commented, looking back to examine the wound herself.
"Yeah, I suppose. I shouldn't have let you go alone, Jewel."
"Its not your fault. You trusted them," he spat. "Them" being the two leggers, of course.
Jewel layed down, allowing Vashin to continue giving attention to her wounds. "You know, looks like Nyx might have been right all along."

Noke bubbled with excitement, soon Kamali would be a member of her pack. Well, it wasn't her pack, but it was the pack that she belonged to. The she-wolf assumed that Akui was already expecting this and was near positive he would be alright with it. Only with that she figured Nyx would would be alright with it as well. She paused to look beside her at Kamali she stepped closer and nuzzled him.
The purple wolf retraced the path back to her homelands. Golden orbs sparkled with happiness and that puppy in love look. "Do you remember?" She said pausing, "It wasn't too long ago that we came here together as adolescents." Noke said, remembering when Akui and Kamali first met.

((Aww crap. wasn't that back near february? my memory is horrible XD im pretty sure that was the first time they told eachother they loved eachother though...))
Kamali was getting nervous and more nervous as they got closer to her packlands, he wasn't exactly sure where they started but he knew they were close. He leaned into her nuzzle, sighing in contentment, a nervous contentment.
Kamali smile slowly, licking at her mug. "Mmm, and we watched stars together." They had, that night. It had been a lovely night.
