Here ya go ^^

***

It was only when I stepped into the dry, warm Way household did I realise how cold it was outside. The heat burned my numb hands as Gerard led me upstairs until his bedroom. He handed me a towel and I rubbed it gently through my hair, sitting on the edge of his bed. He smiled gently at me, sitting opposite me on the sheets as he regarded me with interest.
“You look so pretty… all rained-on and stuff,” he murmured. I found myself letting out a light laugh.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me…” I smiled. My make-up must’ve been smudged halfway down my face and my hair must have looked utterly hopeless. He shook his head.
“I mean it…” he said softly, “you’re beautiful.”
“No-one’s ever called me beautiful before…” I smiled weakly, shaking my head.
“Really? That’s insane…” he told me, grinning. He leant forwards and wrapped his arms around me, his hand twirling vacantly through my hair, “because you really are beautiful…” his voice was barely audible, and he planted a soft kiss on my forehead. We sat for a while in the silence of his bedroom, and before long, I threw a glance around.
“I’m getting rain all over your bed…” I told him with a small smile.
“It doesn’t matter,” he shook his head, following my gaze to his pillow. His pale face coloured pink and he withdrew his arms slightly. I closed the gap between us and pressed my lips to his suddenly. His cold hands found my jaw line and he pulled me closer, arms snaking around me again. I don’t know how long we kissed for, but I do know that it must’ve been a long time. Gerard pulled away a few inches, a faint, sly smile on his face. His fingers were entwined in my hair, and he lifted it away to kiss my neck. “I’m so in love with you…” he told me, voice muffled by my throat. He looked up, grinning sheepishly. I smiled, taking his hand in mine and lacing my fingers with mine.
“I love you too…” I breathed, “and I think I’d die before I gave you up,” I murmured.
“Well that’s good,” Gerard grinned, “because that would mean that we’d both die… cause… cause I’d die too.” I sniggered, stroking through his hair again.
“Of course,” I teased, kissing him gently before pulling away and leaning against him.
“Kathy?” he purred, “Kathy, do you wanna get a pizza tonight?”
“Are you offering?” I giggled, looking up at him.
“Yeah,” he nodded with a faint smile.
“Well, in that case, I’ll have to,” I told him teasingly.
“Awesome,” he smiled, “are you hungry now?”
“Just a little,” I shrugged, smiling gently. He pecked my lips and got to his feet.
“I’ll just go order the Za,” he joked, grinning, before hurrying off. I was left to look around at his bedroom. I got to my feet from his bed and moved slowly over to his desk. A small sketchbook lay there, opened at a blank page. Surely it wouldn’t be prying if it was already open? I shot a look over my shoulder at the door and turned to the front of the book. I froze as I looked upon a picture that might as well have been a photograph of me, except it was sketched lightly, in the style that belonged to Gerard alone. I felt a small smile touch on my features as I flipped the page to see myself drawn once more from a different angle. I carried on looking through the sketchbook, my curiosity buzzing. I know I shouldn’t be looking in Gee’s personal book, but… surely, because these were practically all drawings of me, I had a right? I heard the doorbell jingle and closed the pages of the book, moving back to sit on the edge of his bed. Gerard skipped into the room and set down two boxes of pizza. “Living right by the pizza delivery store kicks a**,” he giggled, passing me a box of pizza.

We ate in something like silence. I kept wanting to bring up the subject of the sketchbook, but the words stuck in my throat. Within around ten minutes we’d set the empty boxes on top of one another and sat back against his bed.
“Good pizza?” he asked vaguely. I nodded and took his hand in mine, wrapping my cold fingers around his. I suddenly moved to drape myself over his lap, my lips locking with his. I could taste the cheese from the pizza and felt a smile fight to the surface of my expression. His fingers twirled in my hair, and I felt the chills working their way steadily through my spine. Suddenly, he drew away, pouting. His mother’s voice was yelling his name, and he got to his feet, opening the bedroom door to yell his response. “What is it?” he groaned.
“Gerard, Kathryn’s mother is on the phone…” I hadn’t even heard it ring. Traipsing downstairs, I accepted the phone off of Mrs Way and pressed it to my ear.
“Yeah?”
“Kathryn! We have exciting news! You have to come home as soon as possible,” my mother told me. I frowned, confused; since when did my mother ever have exciting news? Nevertheless, I agreed and hung up, turning to Gerard where he waited with an expectant look.
“I’ve gotta get going,” I told him, smiling at his disappointed expression. He slipped his arms around my waist and kissed me again before letting me leave the house.

***

“Well, what is it?” I asked, shortly after entering my house. My mother and my father were sitting at the kitchen table and gestured for me to join them. I did with a heavy sigh and watched them both exchange glances.
“Your father’s been offered a new job,” my mother smiled, taking my dad’s hand in hers. I smiled faintly, wondering to myself whether or not Gerard and I would be like that when we were older. Then their words got through to me.
“Really?” I mused, “doing what?”
“He’s now president of the company where he works… but, Kath, we have to tell you that…” my mother trailed off, her gaze dropping to the tabletop.
“We’re going to have to move to Florida,” my father finished. I stared at them for a long time before getting slowly to my feet, turning away from them.
“W-what did you say?” I murmured. I’d heard, alright.
“We’re going to have to move to Florida…” he repeated. I felt as though I’d been struck over the head. Hard.
“I’m not going,” I told them firmly before the anger started throbbing about in my bloodstream.
“You have to,” my mother shrugged gently. I shook my head, suddenly turning back to them.
“I’m not. You can’t make me…” I told her. They had to see sense; I wasn’t, couldn’t and wouldn’t move. They couldn’t exactly drag me to Florida. I mean… Florida? It was sunny, preppy and just… Ew.
“I’m afraid we can, Kathryn,” my father said firmly. I shook my head, before storming out of the kitchen and upstairs, into my bedroom. Shutting the door behind me, I pressed my back up against it and took a deep breath. They couldn’t do this to me. They could do anything else; I didn’t care, as long as I could stay with Gerard. Suddenly moving to my phone, I dialled his number with quaking hands and pushed the receiver against my ear.
“G-Gerard?” I asked. Thankfully, it was him. It only took one word spoken in his beautiful, beautiful voice to calm me.
“Kath… what’s the matter?” he asked softly as he heard the tears that stuck in my throat.
“M-my parents… they said that… we’re moving…” I was crying steadily now, the thought of losing him… it made me feel as though I wanted to scream.
“Moving? Where?” Gerard muttered, sounding somewhat shocked.
“Florida,” I whispered bitterly.
“No!” I heard him breath, “no… that’s not fair…”
“I know,” I told him, “Gee, can you come over? I… I need you.”

***

“Sugar, open the door…” came Gerard’s voice. I pulled open the door and let him in. He sat beside me, his arm slipping around my shoulder. He didn’t even speak, just drew me closer to him. Would you believe that just by him doing that I felt a tiny bit better. I turned my head to look at him, sighing.
“What are we gonna do?” I asked quietly. He stroked a hand vacantly through my hair.
“We’re gonna do what we have to so we can be together…” he murmured. I nodded slowly.
“You’re right… we can’t let them do this…” I leant towards him, kissing him softly on his lips. He held on for a few moments before he pulled away.
“We’ll be together forever… promise?” he smiled. I nodded again and leant my head on his shoulder.
“I promise… so what are we actually going to do?” I asked quietly. I felt him shrug.
“We’ll think of something… okay?” he mumbled, suddenly tilting my face to look straight into mine. “I don’t think I could live without you… you understand that, right?” he told me fiercely. I not only heard his words… I felt them right to the very core of me. I found myself nodding, spellbound. Before long, I got to my feet and lead him over to my bed and stripped back the covers. Gerard looked somewhat terrified. “W-we’re not gonna… y’know… are we?” he asked. I felt my eyes widen and the hilarity of the situation hit me. You heard… hilarity. I started to laugh gently and stroked my hand through his hair before I shook my head.
“Right now, I just need a hug, m’dear…” I smiled. He kissed me, somewhat relieved, before he climbed into my bed. I followed, cosying up next to him. I could feel his chest rising and falling against my back and his hands snaked around my waist.
“I love you…” his breath tickled my ear.
“I love you too,” I murmured, lacing my fingers through his.

Update for you all =]

***

I woke up without any idea as to what the time was. Gerard’s arms were still wrapped loosely around my waist and I tilted my head slightly to look at him. He was snoring softly and I couldn’t help but stifle a soft laugh as he nuzzled deeper into my back. His nose prodded roughly into my back somewhat painfully, and I wriggled around to face him. He remained asleep and I let my fingers dance through his soft hair.
“Hnngrhh…” he mumbled unintelligibly in his sleep and pulled the pink sheets of my bed over his head, “hnngh… pink?” he suddenly woke, jerking the sheets away and eying them, confused. He suddenly noticed me and started. “Oh…” he smiled, “good morning…” his voice groggy from sleep. I sniggered, giving him a gentle shove.
“So what was I to you?” I teased, “some easy lay? You just forget everything we shared together?” Gerard gave me a look, smirking in that utterly gorgeous way. I found my mood brighter than yesterday, strangely enough, and hugged Gerard suddenly, causing him to let out a low ‘oof’ sound and hug me back. He pulled me to lay against him, his lips pecking briefly onto the back of my head. “Would you ever come visit me in Florida?” I asked grimly.
“There won’t be any need, because once your parents realise how much we need each other, they won’t even think about making you leave,” came his muffled voice.
“How do you think we can make them understand?” I asked, taking his hand in mine and stroking my fingers across his knuckles. I felt Gerard shrug.
“I don’t know…” he murmured, “maybe you can talk to them?”
“You don’t know my parents…” I grumbled, “they don’t believe that kids my age can know what true love is…”
“What?” Gerard exclaimed, causing me to jump, “that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard! If this isn’t love than I’m clueless as to what the real thing feels like.” I nodded, his words hitting a slight nerve. I tightened my grip on his hands, rolling over and pushing my lips onto his. I let him explore my mouth with his tongue, my arms slipping around his neck. He pulled away slightly and fixed me with a gentle smile. “I honestly wouldn’t trade you for anything in the world, Sugar,” he told me.

***

I shot my mother a meaningful look over my shoulder as Gerard and I stood by the front door.
“I have to go…” he was saying to me, a wide smile on his pale face.
“You could stay for another few minutes… or hours…” I giggled, pulling him down to kiss me. He pulled away, still grinning like a vampire.
“Do you want me to get grounded?” he asked me. The question was rhetorical, but nonetheless, I nodded.
“If it meant you didn’t have to go,” I pouted. He chuckled softly.
“But then that would mean I couldn’t see you again in a while…” he told me. I raised my voice to carry over to my mom and pushed back his hair.
“Well, we’ll have to get used to not seeing each other… especially if I’m moving to Florida…” I turned and shot my mom a glare, but Gerard tilted my chin back to face him.
“If you moved to Florida,” he began, raising his voice slightly too, “I think I would just curl up and die, right on my living-room rug.”
“I’ll just have to stick you in the trunk if we go,” I sniggered, hugging him gently, “so… are you leaving?”
“I have to,” he pouted.
“Okay, okay,” I smiled, and he made to pull away. My hand caught his arm and pulled him back to face me. “One more kiss and you can leave,” I giggled. He nodded and pushed his lips to mine. Before long, he pulled away and gave me a smile as he left the house, closing the door softly behind him. I turned with a sigh, finding myself face to face with my mother.
“I know what you’re trying to do, Kathryn,” she told me in that annoying, all-knowing voice that seemed to belong to parents alone.
“So tell me,” I grumbled in return, “what am I trying to do?”
“You’re trying to make your father and I feel bad about doing what’s best for this family,” she told me. I shook my head.
“You’re not doing what’s best for this family, Mom. You’re doing what’s best for you and Dad, and you know it,” I shot back. Zing.
“Do you have any idea how selfish you’re being?” my mother asked.
“I’m not being selfish! You are… both of you are…” I told her angrily, “Gerard and I are in love… I know that you and Dad might not remember what it feels like, but I do… please, Mom… please don’t make me leave him…” I started pleading, fighting off the need to throw myself at her feet and beg like a toddler.
“Kathryn, I’ve told you time and time again that girls your age don’t know the meaning of the word! The only thing that exists in your mind is hormones telling you you’re in love,” she told me. I spoke without thinking and it was that one sentence that held the power to convince my mom that we were ******** you!” It just slipped out. We stood in the silence that was created by the expletive for almost a minute before she blinked as though she’d been slapped across the face. I’d never sworn at my mother before. I’d sworn in front of her… but that was a different thing altogether.
“Go to your bedroom. I don’t want to hear another word from you on the subject,” she told me quietly. I made to stomp up the stairs, but she held me back with one last sentence, “and you’re not to see Gerard again.”
