Brayden smiled, picking up the Pokeball and releasing his new partner after returning Abarai to his Pokeball. After offering the Vulpix a Potion to heal it, he considered what to nickname him. He decided that keeping two fire types in his party wouldn't be a strategic nightmare, so he decided on sending Mashiro back to the Pokecenter.
"Hm... I'll have to think on that one," he laughed, "What to name you, I mean," he explained to the Vulpix's confused look, lifting the Vulpix into his arms. "Glad to have you on the team!"
He walked up to the new girl, grinning. "That was a great battle, especially for your first trainer battle, nice to see some other people interested in stopping Team Rocket. My name's Brayden, nice to meet you."

I haven't trained that much, so I can't catch a Pokemon with one attack." Poochyena ran up Day's leg with such speed that she made it to her shoulder, where Poochyena perched and tried to attract attention there.

Kaya saw the Rocket coming at him almost before the Poke'mon he called out was upon him. He quickly reached for a Poke'ball as he narrowly avoided getting hit by the Makuhita's attacks."GO!" he called, not sure exactly which Poke'ball he'd grabbed. When Chidori appeared in the battle, he felt relieved, he had the type advantage here."Chidori, I know you haven't got a lot of battle experience but let's go.Peck!" he shouted. The small bird Poke'mon complied, repeatedly rapping the fighting type opponent with it's beak.
