Well you never specified what game type, if its team slayer, then smg, it rises as you fire, and with a team, two of you caan pretty much take out anything, with at least one member surviving. If its ffa then Br, you can hold your ground, and make easy kills, and take out anything from a good bit of cover. If really depends on the map, the game type, and maybe even your team.

battle rifle all teh way its better, u may be able to use a duel with it but hey, get a better weapon on the way, plus u can defend your self on the way to safty or a better weapon. plus i use a battle rifle as a secondary weapon

Joamal im a experienced player im the best of my friends and im very good with the BR and i dont prefer the smg its just that all the noobs that i play with dont like to change the weapons

[Darth Awesome] Joamal im a experienced player im the best of my friends and im very good with the BR and i dont prefer the smg its just that all the noobs that i play with dont like to change the weapons Because a lot of players don't realize how bad and uneven of a starting weapon it is. It's okay as long as it goes along with a BR. In Halo 1 you spawned with a pistol the equivalent of a BR and an assault rifle the equivalent of a SMG. Halo 1 was balanced for these reasons.

Eh, now that I have played Live I say it does depend all on the map which weapon start I get. I would say BR on most maps but it depends.

daganhibbard1 K a l e c daganhibbard1 I like starting out with the BR. But on Live I like using the noob combo. Plasma pistol and Smg The noob combo is BR Plasma Pistol. oh. I usualy use the Smg with it instead of the BR. I guess that will work though. i'll have to try it. Uh, funny thing is is that the noob combo came out as soon as the multiplayer map pack came out. xd That's how my friend and I found out about it.

If the BR shot like what you just stated, then I don't think anyone would use it. The BR is used mostly for the fact that it takes 12 bullets to kill someone, but only 4 shots, since it shoots in bursts of three. Fe1ix defenitly battle rifle except for the part where it doesnt have the single shot option

Fe1ix defenitly battle rifle except for the part where it doesnt have the single shot option i'm not saying for the battle rifle to just shoot one bullet but it can have the option to shoot one why waste 3 bullets at a time on a grunt or a jackal
