Erosia nibbled lightly on the prey, her light hunger satisfied with a few bits of meat before she lay her head on her cream paws, nudging it towards Ori. "C'mon, you have to eat too..." she said, smilling softly, it was like some sort of fever had settled in, some sort of illness... only not.

Ori watched Erosia closely. She seemed a bit off and when she nudged the remains of the gazelle at him he knew something was off for sure. He was getting used to having to hunt again later for himself because the small game he brought to her would be picked clean. He hesitated a few moments not sure if he wanted to eat it in case she decided she wanted more but a few moments later he obliged ripping bits of the gazelle's flesh from it body. "Are you alright Love?" He asked after a few bites. Her actions were causing him a lot of worry he knew nothing of cubs and pregnancy. Was her actions normal?

The lioness was slowly drifting into sleep when Ori snatched her from completely drowning in her slumber.. "Mmmh? Oh, yeah, don't worry... Just... A little nervous I guess. I just have this feeling..." she mumbled, feeling two little paws thug on her womb in protest. She curled up to Ori's side, her head leaning against his fluffy mane, yawning before closing her eyes.

Ori became silent after Erosia spoke. He watched her as she closed her eyes. He was tired just not sleepy as he gazed about the cave and then back to Erosia. The way she was curled up against him reminded him of another certain princess he had befriended. When she had been a cub the little princess had always curled up next to him to nap. Seeing Erosia there now made him happy as she was all he wanted. He felt important laying beside her unlike his days as only the youngest prince of Azure Haven pride. She wanted him and he felt needed with her. Ori just gaze at Erosia his thoughts dwelling on the past and looking at the future.

The cream lioness fell into a dreamless slumber, like a rock sinking in the water, enjoying what would be a few last moments of peace.
The night had unveilling for long when Erosia came to be with a jolt of pain, her scarlet eyes snapping wide open as a loud yelp escaped her lips. Oh yeah, you make 'em, you carry 'em, and now, you deliver 'em...

Ori had actually managed to drift off for a few moments as his thoughts of the past had faded. When Erosia yelped his eyes snapped wide and he tensed with his top lips curling up into a snarl. His gaze immediately went to Erosia and then around the cave they were in. He was sure someone had caused harm to his love but there was no one in the cave but just them. Ori quickly turned his gaze back to Erosia his expression worried. "Erosia? What is it?"

"Nature decided births had to be painful, that's what! Why couldn't they just-ARGH!! Dammit!! I had three girls and it wasn't this much!!" Erosia panted heavily as her sides began to spasm more and more. "Ori... please stay... I don't want to be alone again..." she mumbled, whimpering softly.

Ori's ears fell back against his head as he watched Erosia in her pain. He wished he could stop her pain but he couldn't. He had done this to her. Made her this way and there was no way he could really help. He layed his head on her shoulder and nuzzled his head up her neck. "I would never leave you." He said giving comforting nuzzles to her shoulders, neck and head. It was all he could think to do for her now.

Ori's support eased Erosia's mind, calming down at the reassuring feel of his touch. Now yes, the kits were ready to come into the world, into their parents' warm embrace. First came a dark violet little male, streaked with vibrant markings in close resemblence to Erosia's, swiftly arriving to the light. "Look daddy, I'm a little cutey like you..." she cooed as she pulled the newborn up, licking his fur clean inbetween. The second one, though, seemed to stubbornly want to cling to her mother's insides, and, while the little male clung to her warmness, Erosia struggled with the pain as she pushed, left on the verge of exhaustion when a small cream female spotted with the colors of the rainbow finally decided to come to the outside.

Ori's eyes were wide as he stopped nuzzling Erosia and simply drapped his head over her shoulder like a large fluffly scarf. He found himself smiling uncontrollably from ear to ear at the sight of the two cubs. A boy and a girl and both were beautiful. The boy had the vibrance of both his parents mixed and the little girl held her mothers base color and his rainbow spots. He peered at them a bit more before he turned his attention to Erosia and began to nuzzle and lick her. "Beautiful love. Just beautiful. I am so proud of you my darling." Ori said softly. He couldn't have felt more pride at that moment. His mate had just given birth to their cubs. He wanted to tell the world of the triumph.

Both little lion samples were snuggled against Erosia's fur, sweetly protected by their mother as she coiled around them for warmth. She grinned softly, chuckling lowly as Ori licked her. "Nuuu, that tickles..." she cooed. Leaning her head on her paws, Erosia yawned as the efforts started taking their toll.

Ori chuckled at Erosia and peered down at the cubs. So tiny and so cute. Turning his gaze to Erosia he noticed her tiredness. Lightly he nuzzled her shoulders and purred. "Take a good rest love." He said in almost a whisper. He would watch over his new family while pride swelled through him. He couldn't be happier now.

((Sorry I haven't replied in ages, Izzeh bug... Haven't been the least inspired crying ... And still ain't...))
She nodded lightly, laying her head down on her paws with a smile. Well, it had hurt. But, no pain, no gain, right? Erosia couldn't be anymore happier, now that she had a family... A real family.

*Time skip*
Oodles and gobs of time had past. Iro and Iris where adults. Iro had moved on while Iris came and went. Ori and Erosia were the same, well for the most part. They still hadn't settled down and didn't ever plan to. It was what they did, wander. This early morning Ori was settled upon a large boulder watching the sun rise. It was to be a new adventurous day with new surprises awaiting them. And today the wind had a sense of what Ori liked to call newity. Something was coming and soon that would change their lives again.

They'd had a 'talk'. Something along the lines, 'Our kids are gone... They're adults now... I want more little bundles of trouble... We can have some fun in the middle too... *impish giggle*'. They had indeed have 'some fun'... And now, as Erosia yawned to the shiny new day, something stirred within her. Something very little. After having two litters, though, her instinct was far more... accurate than last time. Stretching herself well, she calmly made her way to Ori, leaning her head on his shoulder while watching the marvel before them. "Morning..."
