Holy crap. Asia was looking straight up at him! Lantis knew those leaves might give him away, but he thought it was safe to assume she wouldnt think anything of it. Perhaps she wasnt really looking at him. Maybe it was just a chance?
But... damn she's perceptive. Wait. Of course I knew that.
Creeping out of her view, he decided he would climb down the opposite way, run and find a better spot. That was his plan. Until he felt, that slippery sap on his back foot.
He knew it before it happened. He would fall. He tripped clumsily, landing with a loud crash that anybody could hear.

 Asia clenched her jaw shut as she heard a rather loud thud, and then half a curse. Darting over to see what had happened she came into view of the blue kitsu upon the ground, with both leaves and twigs from branches scattered about him.
Shaking her head lightly, she walked over quietly and observed before speaking out from behind him.
"That was quite a nasty fall, are you alright?"
She asked with concern in her voice, not making any attempt to tag him as she sat down beside the blue kitsusagi.

Lantis panicked as he saw Asia heading towards him.
" Uh. Yeah. Okay. It wasnt that much of a drop. " He reassuered, her, his mind blank at first. As Asia sat down next to him, Lantis tried to stand up.
Ow. It was very sore but no broken bones, and he sat back down, keeping his face casual, as he grinned.
" Never felt better. " He said euthuastically, besides the throbbing pain in his joints. Besides all that, he was perfectly fine
Yeah. Fine.
" Shall we head back to the house? " He asked her, implying the end of their game.
" I'm kind of tired. " He shrugged, hoping she wouldnt reguire more then that. His pride wouldnt let him say that he was sore all over. He could probably make up another excuse, such as they should probably go back anyways to make jam.

Asia quirked a brow, but played along, though his pain was quite obvious when he went to stand only to sit again.
Twitching her trio of tails about, she nodded once, before smirking to herself. Looks like she had won this game, but he had guessed right. It wouldn't be fair of her to play further after he had fell and injured himself, even though he'd like to think he didn't, despite the truth.
"Yes, I think we've played enough for one day."
She said quietly, before standing once more, wondering if he'd be able to make it back to the building on his injured joints. If not, she'd be able to carry him back.
Boy would that be an awkward sight.. I'd look like I hunted him.

Lantis was a little bit surprised when Asia agreed with him so suddenly.
" Can you be like .. stay this meek for the rest of the day? " Lantis said, half serious and half joking. Lantis was walking lazily, and slowly, considering the house wasnt that far of a distance. They just needed to get out of the forest and across the lawn.
He could already see the opening back to the house. A bed sounded quite good. The few rarest times, he actually thought of a bed as something to sleep in.
" Once we get back inside, I'm chugging down a couple more sodas. " Lantis said aloud, to Asia trying to start up a conversation.
" Crap, why does this have to be such a hot day? I'm hogging the air-conditioning once we get there. " Lantis really did mean it. He might as well take the fan as well for a little white.
" Unless you feel like staying by the air conditioner? " Lantis added in, inwardly he was hoping she would say yes, because it would be rude of himself to hog it, but he also hoped for a no so he could hog it. It went both ways.
Lantis stared at his paw, where it stung from the dirt. Ah. A cut. Why hadnt he felt that? Oh well. Quite minor. Licking his paw, he decided if he put a leaf under it it would be okay. He paused to pick up a leaf, and a twig to tie it around. It would do until he got to the house.

Asia smirked and shook her head at his question.
He could lie in front of that air conditioner as much as he'd like, she didn't tire easy and her pelt was of a lighter colour than his dark coloured pelt, which meant it didn't absorb half the amount of sun his did.
"Naw' your good. Take as much time as you want in front of it."
She said with a grin while keeping a slow steady pace beside the 'non-injured' kitsusagi. Though, it wasn't long until the scent of his sweat and blood mingled together in a unique smell, which forced her to look down at his paw as he took each step, a small blood trail extending over the forest ground with each step he took.
"Lantis, do you need your paw tended to?"

Yay~ He had the air conditioner all to himself.
" Thanks alot! " Lantis said in genuine delight, feeling rather stuffy. As Asia looked down at him, he realized before she asked the question, she noticed the injured paw.
Lantis would hate being dependant on anybody. It was a bother.
" No, of course not. This make-shift bandange will do until we get into the house for some alchohol and bandange things. " LAntis gave a slight pause before continueing,
"Nothing better then to treat yourself with a sore burn of alcohol on your cuts. It'll give you hell of a plate. " Lantis said the last two sentences jokingly, his sense of humor still intact, even if his pride wasnt.
Blinking wearily, Lantis grinned.
" It'll probably be painful tomorrow. They always say you feel the efforts more the day after a few hours of sleep. Thank God I have nothing planned tomorrow save the idiot owners shopp-- I mean Xaki's mall drive. Even if she dragged me on with a leash, Ill find a way to get out of it. " By now, he knew locks and leashes very well.
" Try being on the locked side of the door in two-thirds of your free time. You'll feel like you ate an all-vegatable cake. "

An all vegetable cake?
She thought to herself, a confused look upon her sun speckled face. What was he on about?
Shaking away the vague image of a bizarre looking veggie cake in her mind, she turned to him once again, the previous topic dropped.
She felt like asking Lantis, but she was still very keen on keeping her sense of dignity and pride, and asking this sort of question, well.. It was normally quite an embarrassing question for a female.
"Do you like having me around?"
She wanted to know now before bothering him further, incase she was a bother to him.
Over the past few hours, she had become a little attached to Lantis, though; she would have to severe these feelings, if he felt differently.
She was hoping he felt the same way, for she would love to meet with him again. Aside from his vulgar language, he was pleasant company.

Lantis's eyes grew wide in surprise, as the question seemed to appear out of nowhere. Did that mean she enjoyed his company? From what he could think of, it could go either way, She could imply that she was going away somewhere for awhile soon, or that she wanted to be around his company. Well.. Lantis's cocky self preferred the better option.
" Does that mean you're finally enjoying my company? Well to say the truth, I'd prefer any welcoming lady's company, but asking about you in particular? " He paused, as to deepen the effect. He paused long enough, but not long enough to prompt Asia for an reply before he spoke again.
" Let's just leave it as, I'll be close to you if you should ever call me. After all, Its not as if I have much of a life besides visiting somebody in the slums or lazing about in the house. " He said dryly, adding in his two pennies.
" Unless I am realistically too far away to hear you, or preoccupied with a higher issue, which I highly doubt. " He was implying something close, that Asia was one of highest priorities.

Asia had bit her lip, already feeling quite silly for asking such a question. But now, the sudden silence made her tense up.
That was right though, he enjoyed any females company.. Was she merely another female to him..?
Treading silently along side Lantis, she stared at the ground and began to play around with a pebble that collided with her toe, an obvious sign of nervousness?
This all was washed away however, when happiness flooded her emotions.
He did like her? And not in that any female way?
Being one of normally cold and lonely status, she had never quite experienced this feeling, and couldn't quite find the right way to reply.
Instead, her face went red and a slight smile formed upon her face.

Lantis watched her reaction closely, but he didnt need more then a glance to see Asia's flaming face.
" Awesome! Did I make you blush? I must be really good if you're the one flaming. " His cocky tone, was filled with good naturedness and humor. For awhile, Lantis had feared he lost his ability to make females smile. Of course, he didnt usually mingle with decent kitsusagis.
" But now off that topic, I need to go and try to see if there's anyway to obtain another bag of onion-flavored chips. Perhaps the next time that dimwit of what I call an owner, Ill go shopping with her and dump some chips in her basket. " He switched topics quickly, but that was his nature. People even called him, random, though he thought his topics to be relevantly similiar. But how was chips considered "similiar" to romance?
" But if you're free, you should tag along. Xaki prefers female kitsusagis but unfortunately for me, she's blessed with Shaolin and Ritsujii. A nightmare and a fast talking kitsusagis, thats bound to make her happy. " Lantis -sort of- subtly asked that question.

Asia's face darkened, more out of embarrassment then joy. Her tails twitching ever so lightly that it was as if they were frozen in air.
Oh, she should have known this would be his reaction. But she would have never have been prepared for it, right?
She felt a lump in her throat and so, decided not to speak. Feeling weak in the knees, she slowed her pace and trailed silently along. She was almost relieved that he had changed the topic, that she just about gave a sigh of relief.
"I'll think about that offer."
She said in a cool tone and with a weak smile, still a little red in the face.
It wasn't exactly because of Lantis' cocky reply that she was feeling embarrassed, she admitted to herself, it was more along the lines that she had never experienced such feelings, and just wasn't sure on how to take them in, and his reaction.
(( Sure, they're both at a point in the role-play where they can both depart. ))

Wheeew. For a moment there, Lantis thought Asia would deny it or something. Whatever worked. As he heard her reply, Lantis thought that was so like her. He didnt actually expect her to come.. Or was he? Lantis wasnt sure what he was expecting. Asia was a coldfish, and now she was like a .. erm.. Something along the lines of .. one of those new females who just reached adult. Not exactly though. She wasnt all giggly or super-shy.
" Well, I should be going. Gambling's a busy life, when you have to go pick up people's debts. " He wasnt at all shy about his activities. He played a fair hand of poker, and therefore won a fair share.
Lantis waved to Asia, walking off the field to the road. After all, chips were expensive.
