((Where do you hail from? What's that suppose to mean first? O.o))

Tsai looked at him without moving his head. "Hmm?" he stared at the character who was challenging him.

"Japan" he told him as he looked at him. "I'll accept your challenge" he said as he got up from his chair. "Where will we spar?" he asked as he tucked in his chair and waited for a reply from the stranger. "May I ask the name of whom I'll be sparring with" he asked.

"You used to be in the living world before you came here?" Jin was a little confused. He wasn't an expert on the living world, but he did know of a few combat styles that came from the living world, even if he was a little blunt on all of the different arts involved.

Jin felt that it was only right that he return the formalities, as his opponent had the patience to do so.

"Jin Urashima, hailing from the slum-like Kusajishi district of Rukongai. There's a stage in this room somewhere..... ah, there it is."

Jin pulled a kunai knife from his sash, throwing it at a lever with surprising accuracy. As the lever turned one way, a small 30'x30' stage came up from out of the floor. Jin proceeded in that direction, taking a total of 30 steps to get to the north side of the sparring floor.

"Any special rules I must know before we spar?" Jin had to know what not to do, as he could pull anything in the middle of a fight; a trait he learned while growing up in Kusajishi.

"Yeah" he replied saying only one word. He didn't want to talk about his past anymore, he followed Jin to the place.

He got up onto the south side of the stage. "Let's say whoever falls off the stage loses" he said with a smile. He grasped his Zanpakutou, and bent his knees slightly.

He stared at his opponent, not knowing what abilities he had or what kind of shikai he bore. He only knew that his opponent's name was Jin. "Jin Urashima". Tsai stood still and waited for his opponent to make the first move.

Picking up his sheath, that had been thrown earlier, up Rui made his way out of the class. He kinda felt disappointed that he wasn't able to land a blow on the instructor however it had been a while since he had held a sword... and his sakabato was not fit for the type of combat that he was most formidably trained in.

"I guess I'm gonna have to get use to the Konomo Ryuu..."

Rui thought as he placed the sheath back into it's rightful place and sheathed his sword. Noticing the two others he watched with interest wondering if he should be training... and nodded his head and walked out the door... it was more important to be training to unlock his shikai than anything else... His below average Kido was gonna hold him back if he wasn't able to unleash his Shikai..

"Training it is..."

Heading towards a training ground in solace to train his mind, body, and soul for his Zanpakkuto.

Jin took a wide and low stance, his Zanpakuto not out yet but held in an aggressive manner. Even though he bore no shikai moves, his skill alone should be able to give him all of the edges he needed. As he took note of the rule set down, Jin was ready to fight. He had no trouble throwing the first punch.

"Let's begin then." Jin rushed in low towards his opponent, his Zanpakuto not drawn yet. Just when he would get the close proximity to his opponent, Jin would pull out his Zanpakuto and use the pommel of the handle to force a hit unto his opponent's abdomen in the middle of his unsheathing method. If the move was successfull, Jin's next move would be a reverse elbow blow to the underside of his opponent's chin.

Tsai assumed a position ready to act fast. He did not know much of his opponent and for all he knew, he might have a shikai which would place him at a disadvantage for he has not yet unlocked his shikai.

Tsai looked at Jin as he rushed towards him. He clearly did not have enough time to draw his Zampakuto. He spun slightly to his Jin's right side dodging the blow. Now he was in a perfect counter attack position. Pulling his Zampakuto from the sheath, he sent a horizontal slash at Jin's side. After the attack, Tsai would most likely back off from the attacker.

Tsai would have to take this fight slowly until he had figured out how his opponent operated and his weaknesses.

((OOC:Do you weild your zampakuto with your left or right hand? And where do you place your sheath?))

((Zanpakuto hand: Right, Zanpakuto sheath: Right side. He pulls with his left hand and then switches every now and then.))

As his move was evaded, Jin was more than ready to deal with counters. If he was to be slashed, Jin rolled onto the floor underneath the slash. In the midst of his roll, his moving foot was aimed for the left side of Tsai's face. After the roll was finished, Jin hopped back up into a ready position facing Tsai, his Zanpakuto out and ready for aggressive fighting.

"Clever, not many can pull off an evade like that..." Jin stood ready, waiting for a real strike from Tsai since Jin pulled the first move.

Tsai was surprised someone could think so efficiently in such a situation. He took the hit to the face and backed off. "Your not so bad yourself"he chuckled as he sprung at him. His zampakutou was double the length than the average zampakutou (Approx 1.9 Metres) enabling Tsai to strike without getting hit unless a projectile was thrown but Tsai realized his opponent's zampakutou wasn't the average length. It was longer indeed, but would not have the range to touch Tsai. He rushed forward at Jin holding his zampakutou with two hands, first with a vertical slash. If that were to succeed a horizontal slash would follow.

If the attack wasn't sucessful, Tsai would back off and rethink the attack.

Jin witnessed the attack coming, prepared to defend himself. Although Jin did not have the experience to block every attack, he did have enough skill to avoid taking a hard hit. He stopped the vertical slash with a horizontal parry, and backed up enough to take a scratch on his left upper arm. The wound only went a couple millimeters deep, leaving litttle room for bleeding.

"Nothing like the basics..." Jin jumped back into close proximity with his opponent, hoping to make a slash across his upper chest with an unsheathing-style slash, followed by a knee kick towards his opponent's abdomen.

Tsai blocked the slash, then realized Jin was trying a knee kick. He jumped back instinctively, Jin's knee only hitting him a bit. He landed awkwardly, rubbed his belly and resume his battle position. "Your tricky" he told him.

"O Lord, Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws" he muttered the incantations. " Sokatsui!" he shouted as a blue ball of spiritual energy appeared at Tsai's palm and was fired at Jin. Tsai then took the oppurtunity to strike. He dashed at Jin, with another vertical slash.

Kidou. Although Jin did know some Kidou, he wasn't all that good at controlling it. The only kidou he could use effectively was the kind he could channel through his Zanpakuto, and that often ended up in flame as the result. Now he needed a defense against this spell, one that wreaked of blue flame.

"Is kidou even legal in a sword match?...." Jin left the question for later, channeling his reiatsu through his sword to give it a red glow. Once the blue fireball came into proximity, Jin swung hard against it with his charged blade. The result was a miniature explosion, the smoke clearing to show Jin suffered a few minor burns as well as scorch marks, but his sword was left with a firm red glow as well as an expression of an evil smirk. He had clearly thought of something.

"That's not the only trick I have. Eat this..." Jin channelled his emotions into his blade, making the blade give off embers of flame. The next thing that came was Jin swinging his blade down and releasing an arc of intense orange & yellow flame towards Tsai. This kidou had no name, and it was a personal technique Jin had pioneered in kidou class.
