I've never read any Yuri for tthe sole fact that I never see it anywhere, and I'm too lazy to look really hard. Plus, I've heard frrom a lot of people that yuri dosn't usually have very good storylines. That makes me kinda sad... because I would like to read/watch yuri if I could find some that is good.

I love Yaoi blaugh i like it i love it and it can't be helped (sounds like a certain anime title).
i think yaoi is more popular than yuri, there doesn't seem like there is much yaoi.

My opinion of which is better is, they're balance enough.
I have rarely see Yuri but I can't seem to find any, but the great thing is, it's so rare that it can be a treat. ^_^
Yaoi can get pretty dull without a certain plotline, and you see it everyday. I love yaoi so I muse over these cute boys going at it.
Conclusion: Yaoi=Yuri
(Well for me, that is...)

x~Ho-sama~x Okay. So, I love both yaoi and yuri. I have way too much time and was posting both yaoi and yuri pictures last night (couldn't sleep). It got me to thinking about the differences between yaoi and yuri. I mean, I love yaoi because of the totally gorgeous men, the wonderful stories, romance, and sex (duh). But I also think yuri is hot beyond words. The only thing I've really seen of yuri, however, is mostly very lovely colored pictures and tacky (in my opinion) porn-esque things. I've run across a few very short pieces of yuri manga and I have to say, it mostly sucks. The art and the stories PALE in comparison to my favorite yaoi manga(s), which have really taken my breath away at times. So wtf, mates?
What are your thoughts between yaoi and yuri? (I hope I can talk about this here since its a yaoi guild) Am I just missing all the amazing yuri manga that's carefully hidden somewhere, or does it just not exist? Btw, I know most women draw the yaoi manga, but what about the yuri? Is that mostly drawn by male artists? That could explain one reason for the suckage. Totally kidding! Don't hurt me, guys!
What is your preference between the two? Has everyone else pretty much experienced the same thing as me?
eek I would have no answer for any of that man... i'm not a big fan of yuri at all, but i will read it if it's in front of me... and i have not found any of it anywhere... I guess gay guys are more accepted than gay girls in asian countries... :::laughs jokingly:: don't hurt me.. ^__^

I like both Yaoi and Yuri, but I think I prefer Yaoi. Yuri just seems to be more about "SexSexSexSexSexRapeSexSexSex." While Yaoi, to me, has more story line to it.

Hm...I would say both I enjoy watching Yaoi and Yuri,although I haven't seen as much Yuri and I have Yaoi.Yaoi to me is one of the most beautiful things while Yuri is still beautiful it just doesn't have as much emotion to it as Yaoi does,the guys just seem to be more passionate while the girls are like "You like me I like you let's have sex!" That type of thing.

I haven't really seen a lot of yuri but I've seen enough to know I like yaoi better. If only yuri was as good as it was shown in Loveless, by the "Zero" I think I would love it much much more, but of coarse not as much as yaoi that is!
