Myoa thought for a bit. She had no idea of a soquili outcast. She shook her head dissappointed and upset. She returned Degewi's nuzzle, and nickered gratefully to him, "Thank you...and I know."
Saika was grateful that the blame wasn't on her Soquili friends, but still, who could have done this?!?

Bandit scampered over to the gathering then climbed onto Lunathiel's head for a better veiw. "What's this bout an evil soquili?" He asked tail twitching about. "And how could a horse scratch like that?"

Continuing to listen to the various conversations, Tifa gazed at the prints on the ground. Soquili hooves? Who would do this? This doesn't even look like the work of Kalona. Tifa's mind continued to wander to Cloud wondering if he was the middle of this fray or watching from a distance. She did not know of any outcast soquili or anything so she stayed quiet.

Rötschreck knew it was assumptive but he did feel like the male 'leader' of his race. He didn't care what the other Kalona stallions thought. He had to take matters into his own hands.
The large, glimmering Kalona made his way over to Soquili, the one he knew was in charge of the two-leggers. He couldn't understand the gibberish they called a language and she wouldn't be able to understand him, but he felt the need to clear his name.
It was quite a sight to behold, the large, evil creature towering over the smaller two-legger. What was even more odd was that Rot bowed his head low, almost kneeling to the princess. It was the only way he could try to explain to her that the Kalonas had not done this deed. Of course, that's not saying they wouldn't wish they had. It was a pity that someone had beaten them to a grand thing, though the disrespect shown to the burial ground was uncalled for all the same. No one touches Kalona territory.
Rot would find out what sort of creature(s) was behind this. For only this day, would there be a truce between this mighty Kalona and the inhabitants of the land. The knowledge of this creature was just as important, if not moreso to the Kalona than the other races.

Miakoda finally returned to consciousness as she slowly slid off Hania's back, shocked. She looked around for her friend, Crow, or any other Indians she recognized. "What's happened?" She spotted someone, and looked over to Saika. "Excuse me, but what's happened? This is terrible!" she was aghast; usually, she preferred to stay away from the others in the Kawani tribe, but tonight it seemed everyone was needed here.
Hania sent his family and Shimshek home with a glare that none of them had ever seen before. They were gone in a heartbeat; he didn't need his daughter or Mocha to see this horror. He turned when he saw Miakoda speak with an Indian, a little surprised to see that she was associating with others. She kept to herself most of the time... wait. According to the two Indians she was talking to, a Soquili had done this. But how? It wasn't possible! Maybe they had stayed away from the village for too long...

Kimi was brave and hated being treated like a child, but bravery can be considered an oddity in a situation like this. Kimi has faced fierce stallions and dangerous Kalona, but nothing comapred to this. Kimi trotted off after Sgina towards the two leggers.
Randee entered the village to find Kimi, who had run off yet again. "Kimi? Kimi where are you?" asked Randee. The village had been destroyed! Randee panicked and headed off into the woods by herself to search for her lost daughter.

Tiana moaned, a soft low cry of denial. Her dear Helaku, doing this? He would never! He lived by himself, but he had a mate...he couldn't! She fell to her knees and rocked back and forth, terrified to speak lest she damn the beautiful grey stallion she'd observed since his foalhood.

Izzy Makani Halloween's ears perked and then fell as Tawadi spoke of loners and outcasts. She wasn't an outcast but she was a bit of a loner from time to time. Slowly she backed away from Tawadi not wanting him to start pointing fingers at her. Salali was still caught up in shock that she did not notice Halloween back up. Rei, taking her keen eyes noticed the movement. "Poor soquili." She said softly. It was defined that maybe Halloween was one of either, and perhaps she was afraid of something.
Anubis knickered softly over to the strange soquili, his human was paying attention to. He gave her a hopeful smile to reassure her feelings, whatever it was.

Chitsa knew of no outcasts. All of the soquili she had met were always kind... most of the time. But they would never do this. No, this was no work of a regular soquili. Only somebody with a black heart would do this. And that doesn't even include the Kalona. She had noticed that the burial grounds were even destroyed. Why would they destroy their own haven? No... It wasn't them... But then... Who was it?

Zira lurked along the edge of the villiage. Her manners lion like as her red and yellow eyes glowed. She was still outraged at the chief only a dog would be as low as to chew and spray a rogue soquilli would attack and kill, but spray that was just low.

After Oyohusa located his pants he headed for the corn cake smell. It was coming from the village he had never been to. It did appear oddly familiar....
He could now smell the mark of territory in the distance. Was it his? Maybe. Oyohusa knew he was a skinwalker but never had any memories of his actions. He could of been the one but he didn't want the villagers to know this or they wouldn't feed him.
Maybe he would disguise himself as a helpless beggar man to get some food..then he would be on his way.
The village neared and Oyohusa hid behind a boulder to make out the activity going on in front of him. It was nothing but scared people crying over their ruined belongings. The smell of marking was strong but it didn't overpower the corn cakes. He would get them in his stomach and leave this pathetic village and idiotic people.
"Stupid ingrates..what a worthless bunch. Life is more important than material possessions.. ha!" he grunted with disgust.
Oyohusa stood up, his shoulders draped with the coyote pelt and he was sure someone spotted him.

Arwentia woke slowly, a smile still on her face from her pleasant dreams. How nice it was to wake up to bird song! But... where was it? The silence was what alerted her, brought her to the full state of being awake and ready. It was too silent... there should always be the noises of wildlife in the morning!
Prodding Inali with her foot, the young Native American woman woke up the soquili. Though they couldn't speak the same language, everyone knew what waking up meant. Shaking her head, Inali rose slowly. Her sense of smell, more delicate than Arwentia's, caught the smell of blood, and fear. In a shot, the soquili exited her teepee, running towards the center of the village. There was destruction everywhere- how could anything have survived?
Watching the soquili dash off, Arwentia shook her head, going more slowly. Who could have done this? One creature couldn't have destroyed so much, surely. Looking for other humans, she wandered. This was devestating... it had taken the village so long to gain the peace it fought for with every ounce of its body, and that peace was clearly shattered now.
Seeing other soquili, Inali whinnied loudly- Myoa and others. "What's happening, what's going on? I can smell blood on the wind, and fear in everyone." Her silver eyes rolled up in her skull, as she shifted from foot to foot. It smelled so foul...

Saika smiled gratefully as her friend approached. "I have no idea, the tribe and the Soquili are trying to solve this right now..." She bit back futher tears.
Myoa saw the shadow of what she thought was a gigantic coyote. "Look over there!" she yelled. "What a huge coyote! Is he culprit of this crime?"

Kaelyn move through the outskirts of the village, still unaware of the panic of others, for the moment. Something made her feel uneasy, though she did not know what exactly it was. Heaving a sigh, she shrugged the feeling off, walking further into the village, her white body looking almost ghostly against the dark night.

Nagual looked up at Yei, eyeing the two-legger chief sideways, "I think he believes it's someone we might know.... but surely not!" The mare limited sense of two-leggers was not very keen, but she understood some.
Turning back to the subject of the previous night, the mare shuddered, the cold feeling overtaking her spine once more, "We did... at least I think so. It didn't sound like any canine I am familiar with; but definately not soquili..." Her cheeks turned a little pink, "If we had gotten some sleep, maybe we'd be able to speak a little better...." so, they had come here as fast as possible.
Nagual dropped her head back down and carefully took an arrowhead. Lipping it up, she turned as far as she could to her tail. Ideally, she'd put it in her mane, but she couldn't reach. After tying it neatly and deftly, the mare let it sit. The broken arrowhead was tied there. Looking to Yei, she smiled sheepishly, "Now, we can try to compare scents if we find it again..." Of course, that meant 'sniffing her butt'.
