An explosion? Mozz turned as his opponent did, causing a silence to their mortal combat as a rush of water surged down the river bed. Mozz smiled with delight, at least something was getting done. Turning to his oafish compatriot, Mozz swung both hands in the air, in a wave motion, his mold responded, making a thick surfboard like object out of mold, which mozz promptly broke off from the side of the wall.
Grabbing it in one hand, Mozz jumped to the side, positioning himself between the river his opponent and the wall now covered in Moss. If his opponent was still standing awestruck, he would push both he and his new surfing buddy into the water with a accelerating push of a Moss wall. This of course might now work on his friend, but even if it didn’t Mozz would leap in the water, and surf for radiant.

It was this interesting situation that the big, mud covered man snuck into. He moved with an experienced, stealthy gait and had clung to the edge of the plains for as long as he could before moving to the ruins area. The glasses came up and on as soon as he found cover behind one of the ruined structures the shades had not gotten to yet. Here, he set up surveillance once again, opening the case and exchanging sunglasses in his hand for a rugged looking visor which wrapped around three fourths of his head. It was snug, since it was built for someone else, but it was designed to be able to accomodate his skull....barely. Dubbed the Circlevision Visor, it allowed the wearer (who presumably had a cyberbrain capable of using it) to see in all 360 degrees. It was a better option in this case, since he was more exposed in this location than in the dark forest, and he could already see many hostiles in the area. As with the last location, the cybernetic humanoid immediately began recording everything....including the explosion and its aftermath.

He finally made it back, semi in tact, though thouroughly exhausted.
Sun collapsed into a seated position and sighed, letting his mind and body rest.

"!"
Flame-yellow eyes stared down, even as his chest rose and fell with each breath. Dried blood stained his left shoulder, water still dropping from his body. He raised that flamberge once more, even as he could hear the steadily rising commotion of people incoming.
He recognized her of course. From Gambino and the Firebrand. But he had not seen her at the village... and she smelled like...
"Of all the places..."
He knelt down by her side, pressing his left hand against her temple, brushing aside dirty strands of hair. The flames on her body did nothing to him, but in fact began to recede-- as if he were feeding off them. She would begin to feel the opposite of warm, as the heat was sucked out. "Where is Owle? Do you hear me-- IS she here? Is she here?!"

((Apologies for this taking so long. Technical difficulties abound in this house.))
Flare shivered in the sudden absence of heat, but at least most of her clothing remained intact enough to cover her.
"Stop it!"
She was forcing herself, painfully, back to consciousness. Back to sham strength. Her voice seemed stronger, her eyes a bit more open than before. She still did not move.
"No..."
She shook her head, a tiny movement. "Firebrand. Owle doesn't know where this is..."

Athan came from the riverside, having already crossed the sluggish river. He was there to fully secure the other end of the new bridge. If that meant he was going to have to clear out the ruins as well, so be it.
No weapons were drawn, although his right hand rested comfortably next to the hilt of the shortsword at his side.
"Can't say that it looks too dangerous..."
He muttered to himself, turning his back to the bridge as he faced the ruins, his eyes narrowing at the fallen structures there.
"But I guess it wouldn't, huh?"

Sun jogged through the camp the hood slipped down, red hair ablaze as he ducked in past the guardians. Of course the white beings still only guarded against people that wanted to damage the place, but you could tell they were itchy and bored.
As it was he ran right infront of Athan's line of sight before dissappearing around a corner, looking for one of the scouting Shades that could update him on what the hell was going on.

There was a quick little blur, definetly a person with bright red hair. Not the kind of guy that could go unnoticed in the middle of the day. Now while the man wasn't technically attacking the bridge, he was still nearby.
Athan didn't need much of an excuse to start a fight.
Garrisons be damned, Athan abandoned the post he had set for himself and headed straight for the ruins, intent on catching up to the stranger that was running around all willy-nilly.

((Vahn. I'm assuming you went into super stealth mode, and Flare got medical treatment. I'm sorry but I can't sit here the rest of the day. If you want to get more information out of Flare, PM me.))
Flare still hurt like hell. But she was feeling better, yes...better...
She could walk without much pain. Even run if it came to that. How long she could keep it up was the question.
She glimpsed Sun go by the little building she'd been holed up in, receiving medical care. And, waving off concerned shades, she headed out after Sun.
Athan would more than likely overtake her before he caught up to Sun.

Once Athan rounded the same corner of the building...he'd find shades, lots of them, a little boring really for someone that wanted to start a fight. They wouldn't actually bother the man unless he bothered them, but where the hell had the red-head gone?
Sunstrike had pulled his hood up again, but there was no doubt that he was still out of place...probably by being at least half a hand shorter then most of the Shades themselves, and talking avidly and expressively to one Shade that seemed to take in what he was doing and trying to respond back with the same enthusiasm.
"The mountains? What the hell could be..."
"Yes! Omikron has mentioned..." Lots of black hand motions towards the mountainous region. "It would be a good place to get some more power."
"Interesting..."

Shades, and lots of them. But most of them, unfortunately, didn't seem hostile. Hell, a lot of them just looked at him and then went back to work. They weren't fighters, and they didn't deserve his sword.
He was running now, attempting to catch up to the strange redhead that had just disappeared like some kind of ninja.
It was pretty much inevitable that, in his frantic search, he wouldn't notice Flare walking out of the medical room. Nor would he turn in time to avoid any sort of contact.
"Oh Fu--"
Impact from behind, probably bowling Flare over in the process if she hadn't seen him coming. Athan wasn't too concerned for her health, if this place was garrisoned by the enemy, well, she was obviously one of them. He stumbled, lowering his hands to the ground and catching himself before he fell. With any luck, none of the guards positioned there, if there were any, heard him.
At least, up until the point his radio crackled to life giving him instructions as to where to go. While the noise wasn't really discernible, it probably was audible if there was no other commotion.

Muttering and a roll to the left. Few seconds later she rolled back onto her right side and growled at the ground. There was some quiet talking goin on but overall not much of intereast.
Obviously she was asleep. 'Why was she asleep in the middle of a Shade held area? Simple really, her new shade 'friend' had left her to go about her own way. Not like she had made any hostile intent towards him. If anything she was probably entirely too friendly asking him all sorts of questions.
So if the guardians and all were really not bothering people unless they were hostile, she found a nice place to sleep up against a convient wall. Overall fairly close to where she had met her 'friend'. At some point she had fallen over and...so here she was.
Still asleep at that with her hood up and mask in place, an open palm facing into her face. The position was akin to the fetal position but not quite as closed in. And she was snoring, somewhat loudly, and smelled of booze.
...And that was her sleeping situation. Yes, after all that she is still asleep.
OOC And so I go to answer the phone...now that I have set up where the hell she is. Got the Danimal's permission to start here, since I stopped here, kthx!

And Flare just started cursing.
"Where the %^* do you think you're going?! Watch it, you *%* piece of #*^$! Can't you tell I'm %*^* injured?!"
He had taken her to the floor from behind, and she hadn't yet bothered to turn to see who it was. After all, any enemy here would have been noticed by the shades...right?
She was admittedly surprised to see Athan. Recognizing him as a former ally, though, she smirked. "Come for the last minute reinforcements, then?"
...it was then she heard the radio. And the instructions. That undoubtedly had something to do with destroying or at least hindering the shades. "...or not."
In an instant her rapier was drawn and pointed at him, though she was still pretty much lying on the ground.
