Her glare only made Ra laugh harder. "Oooh I'm scared." He taunted as he climbed up and back onto the path. At her comment he turned back and ran his fingers through his dusty hair. "Just be thankful it wasn't water and a white shirt." He said with a smirk and a raised eyebrow before turning his attention back to beating his trousers.

"Hentai," she muttered, as she bent over to dust her jeans off. Shooting him another dark look, she flipped her hair over and gave it a good shake to get as much dust as she possibly could out of it. Straightening back up with a flip of her hair, she didn't bother to comb her fingers through it to straighten it back out properly. She gave her shirt another quick once over, then climbed back up to the path beside him. Giving him a long look, she arched a brow and pulled her arm back to land a solid punch into his arm. "You can be such a jerk sometimes," she said, her smirk and the smile in her eyes taking the sting out of her insult.

"Owch." He said returning her glare and rubbing his arm. That had actually hurt. He was only messing around. "And you can be a total cow sometimes." He shot back, the humour in his eyes showing that he didn't mean it either. "Though I deserved that so I'll let you off."

Obie didn't let on that the punch had actually hurt both her knuckles and stitches as well, though inwardly she cringed. "Moo," she smirked and nudged him gently to get him to start walking again. She slipped her hands into her pockets as she strolled on and couldn't help but smile at their silliness just now. It had been ages since she had allowed herself such freedom.
"So are you ready for senior year?" she asked, looking up at him.

Ra shrugged and shook his hair a little as they continued along the path. "I suppose. I mean, I don't think I have much to worry about if I keep my average up."
It sounded arrogant but school was never something he had, had to try hard at. "How about you, ready to feel the preassure?" He smirked and looked up at the forest they were approaching.

"Pressure? This is nothing. Though I say that now. I'll probably be feeling it when I start filling out the applications for the colleges I want," she said, feeling a slight tingle of apprehension and excitement. It was all so near she could almost taste it. She reached up and started to comb her fingers through her hair, shaking both the dust and tangles out of it as they slipped past the first trees.
"What's the most daring thing you've ever done?" she asked randomly, but genuinely curious.

"This." He said gesturing to his new look. "My parents would kill me." He said with a smile as they walked. "And I do mean really kill me. Not a lecture and then forgiveness."
He laughed a little and turned back to her. "How about you dusty? What is your most daring thing?" he said with a half grin.

Obie glanced over at his tattoo and piercings and smirked. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, she thought to herself when he explained what his parents would do to him.
"Dusty?" she questioned, arching a brow. He was seriously messed up if he thought she was going to let him get away with calling her that. When he returned her question to her, she realized a moment too late that she probably shouldn't have traveled down this particular topic of discussion.
"Um..." Which to choose? She decided upon the most recent and dulled it down a bit. "Messed around with someone in a public park," she replied, keeping her eyes glued down to the path in front of her and praying that it wasn't a blush she felt creeping up the back of her neck.

Ra ignored her query and raised an eyebrow at her daring situation. She was in a whole different league of 'balls' to him. He wasn't sure what to say in reply really. It wasn't that he was a prude, he wasn't he just believed that there were times and places. "Heh, interesting." He said with a slight smirk. "You win."
They walked in silence for a while. "Do you think I'm boring?" He asked randomly. Her answer making him think for a moment. "Like, too sensible?"

Obie shot him a look and noted his smirk. Okay... maybe she should have chosen something else. But everything she had ever done that classified as daring was also classified as incredibly stupid. That actually had to be the least stupid thing she had done recently. She enjoyed the soft silence that settled between them and glanced around at the thick trees. His question drew her eyes back to him and she considered him for a moment before answering.
"Actually, I don't think your boring at all. And I'm not trying to flatter you," she smiled and looked down at the path again. "As for being too sensible, I don't think that of you either. You obviously have a daring streak in you somewhere," she said, looking back up and gesturing to his new appearance. "I think you might just be a late bloomer."

"Nope, I think this is about as far as I go." He said, returning her smirk. "I just wondered. Because sometimes a level head is a crime."
Sighing, he allowed silence to fall between them once more as they walked, listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. "We should have brought lunch or something." He said as they approached a small path with a temple gate. "This would have been a good place to stop."

"We'll just have to remember next time, yes?" she smiled, walking up to the gate and running a hand over the painted bright orange wood. She peered through the trees and could see the small structure of the temple peeking around some of them. "It's very peaceful here," she commented softly. She turned and looked back up at him.
"As for your comment earlier about level headedness being a crime... I wish it were mine. Don't let what people say or think about you make you doubt yourself or your virtues. You happen to have very favorable ones," she smiled and leaned back against the orange pillar.

Ra nodded at her observation and walked up to the temple to sit on the open verandah. "Definitely next time." He said with a nod, pulling his legs up to sit cross legged. "Oh how you flatter me." He said with a smirk, watching her lounge against the pillar. "My parents would be proud."
He raised his eyebrows and leant back on his hands. "This is my I love Japan. Little places like this to hide from the craziness."

Obie smiled at his comment and moved to sit next to him, sitting cross legged as well, but leaning forward on her arms. She brushed at some dirt that was still on her sleeve, then left it. Who really cared? For a brief second, she wondered how Isabel was and was glad she had left her phone in the room. She just really couldn't be bothered with her right now.
"Where are you planning on going to school after this?" she asked, glancing over at him.

Ra shrugged and looked up at the canopy of leaves above them. "I have no idea." He said giving the shafts of light a wry smile. "I was thinking about America, a they have some of the best med schools. But I half think I wouldn't mind staying here in Japan."
He shrugged and looked back down at her. "How about you? Do you want to stay here or go back?"
