You're looking at Sakura as if she's still the immature young kunoichi she was at the beginning of part one, where she used to swoon over Sasuke like he was a God - she no longer does that, and no longer feels that way about him.
Maybe she does love him - just not in the same way as she used to. I really doubt she's going to just jump into Sasuke's arms after all he's done to hurt Naruto - Naruto's her best friend, and she loves him. (I'm not saying romantically) For all we know, she could outrightly reject him for his traitorous actions toward her and the rest of her tea.

Yeah, I don't think Sakura's too keen on Sasuke right now. (Actually, I don't think anyone is.) That's why I was wondering what the heck everyone would do if they DID bring Sasuke back. Everyone would be like "RAAAAAWR TRAITOR SASUKEEEE!!" and maul him to death. Or something. sweatdrop

Creativerealms While in part 2 NaruSaku is pretty active right now I don't know if it will go anywhere. I just have this feeling that when Sasuke betrays oro and rejoins team 7 (Which is almost obvious) that Sakura will go back to being all over Sasuke. I know thats sad but I see Sakura seeing Naruto only as the runner up, likes him but really the person she would rather want is impossible right now. Maybe it won't happen but thats what I see. Sadly i also don't see anything happening with Naruto and Hinata. She has still not told Naruto how she feels and now with how close Naruto and Sakura are in part two she may not want to. Well guess we just have to wait and see. Watashi wa Hyuuga Hinata desu... One statement: Matter of screen time. Hinata has only appeared once in Part 2 and she fainted(Kishi telling us she still has feelings for him) They've already focused on all the other teams other than Hinata's team...so who do think is next? Yup Team 8. Team 8 has missions as does Team 7. She hasn't seen Naruto and Sakura together so she most likely still wants to. I don't think she fainted for nothing.

Ano...Naruto-kun... I agree. Kishimoto usually gives each team somewhat equal screentime. To leave out Team 8 like that for so long is kind of unusual. I do think there will be some indication of Team 8 once this arc comes to a close. And I am SOOOO ready for the next arc!

Or something. sweatdrop Well this is a shonen anime. Remember in Shonen anime/manga one months worst enemy is the next months best friend. I mean durrin the Chunin Exams it looked like the chances of anyone trusting or even liking Gaara were zero. I mean he tried to kill Rock Lee when he was bedridden. So yeah right now it looks like that but you never know in a Shonen anime/manga

The Naruto series is kinda different, though. I think it should be its own genre. It's got the qualities of a shounen manga, but it just seems different somehow. It doesn't always follow the 'rules of shounen', if you get what I'm saying. It's more realistic.

I DO think that Creativerealms has a point, though.
You have to remember. Sasuke is NOT a bad guy. He didn't leave with Orochimaru because he wanted to be evil, or destroy Konoha, or any of that.
He lefts because he wants to kill his brother, because he thinks it will bring him and his clan JUSTICE.
When he completes his goal, I highly doubt he's going to be a bad guy, like Orochimaru. I think that he'll want to stay out of Konoha because if his missing-nin status, until Team 7 bring him home.
So I don't consider Sasuke a true enemy. I see him more as an ally that is using the other side for his purposes.
And also, it's popular in Shounen manga that people do change, and people who are bad/enemy become good or have a change of heart later in the series. I'm not at ALL saying this will happen in Naruto, but I think that the chances are likely. Remember that this series is kinda made for kids (boys, to be specific). People LIKE it when someone has a change of heart, and becomes one of the allies.
I cling to this hoping that one day Kabuto WILL come to the good side. PLEASE, KABUTO?!
But yeah, that's my thought on Sasuke. XD;
Back to screentime. I agree. I'm SO ready for the Team 8 ark. -.-; Team 10..no...SHIKAMARU...and Akatuski floosies....are getting old.

I don't think Sasuke is a bad guy, I was referring to everyone else's point of view. (IE. the villagers and whatnot.) I was wondering if THEY would accept him back. There's no doubt in my mind that that Naruto, Sakura, and the others would welcome him back. But that's because they know him. They knew his true intentions. It was everyone else I was referring to.
And, as for the next arc, they're all going back to Konoha now! 4laugh FINALLY. The Akatsuki were really getting on my nerves.

I mean Naruto's "Beat some sense into them" theopy which he uses to make Neji and Gaara good guys. Go of to train with different masters, a tournament (The exam counts as a tornament) death that is not permanate (Gaara). Even what happened with Sasuke a bit rarer but good guys have left with the bad guys before. Now I'm not saying they won't surprise me. Hell I hope they do. Maybe part two is a bit less "ordinary" however part one seems to follow the Shonen rule book almost page by page.

Right now, Naruto is showing more affection to Sakura than to Hinata. Unless something major happens in timeskip, unfortunately, there won't be NaruHina.

Well, I'm going to have to disagree with that because Time-skip is barely starting....If its going to last as long or longer than Part 1 we are just going to have to wait and see what happens. And he's been warming up to Sakura because she's one of his best friends and their other best friend is giving up his life for revenge and there's nothing they can do about it. (Well, there is but they've failed at it so...) I think you would warm up to the other person if this happened to you...And Hinata hasn't had much screen time, but I think the Team 8 Arc should be coming soon...They're going back to Konoha~~!

I Agree. 3nodding Team 8 needs some page time (Manga time xd ) and yeah, Naruto's closest friend would be Sakura, since her and Sasuke were the only closest people to him that were his age. He needs some one to talk to, not flirt with. xd At least, not yet. ninja

I just really hope that Naruto and Hinata stay together...if not I'll have a b***h fit...XP But you know somehow I'm hoping for a Sakura death, not that I hate Sakura...but I have this feeling that somewhere along the line she's either going to sacrifice herself or she's just gonna get in the way and bam! Dead. And then there’ll be hurt, and lonely Naruto…and I think Hinata will find the courage then to get closer to him…I dunno…I just know that one of the two girls will have to die and that will determine who Naruto will be with…either that or some new character has to come in and take one of them as his…I’m just doing some radical thinking here I guess.
