She lays her hands on the lucious dewed ground.
She does not speak, nor make a sound.
She adverts her gaze to the heavens above,
and shuts her eyes, lisitning to the wind's whispered lull.
The stars shimmer brightly, so peacefull, so calm.
A gift from the Angels, like words to a silent song.
Nature at it's finest, a place where Civilization hasn't toutched.
A place where she can go and think about hopes and dreams and love.

The lids of her eyes seem to fall, as sleep gently wraps it's arms around her
Correst in her own secrect world, she lies in peacfull harmony.
Awaiting untill the sun rises and spreads it's golden rays accross the earth.
Her eyes will open once more, and great the world with excitment.
But untill then she does not stirr,
in the fantasy world around her.

i made a poem that goes along with a picture... i'll write the poem and maybe get the picture up someday when it's not midnight...

"the puppeteer with one thousand arms"

armies of hundreds without pay he commands
power and control are what he demands
his soldiers eyes, forward the gaze
dry, empty, soulless with death's dark glaze
men are but toys, pawns in his game
his men fight and die, he lives the same
hiding behind phalanx where no arrow will rain
he has never felt his combat, nor shared in it's pain
though all hearts may beat to an iron string,
the cord is held taught by the Thousand Arm King

My father is a deaist...he does not belive God, or any form of a god, exists in this universe now. He does beleive that there is a higher power that stirred the primordial stew, but thats abotu it. SO, you can imagine how I felt when he gave me this poem for last Christmas

I asked God for a flower, and He gave me a garden.
I asked God for a tree, and He gave me a forest.
I asked God for a stream, and He gave me a river.
I asked God for an Angel, and He gave me you.

It moved me to tears to get that from him.

wait... a higher power that isn't God? i don't really see how that works... but it is very nice, considering his beliefs

Some riligions beleive ina higher power, btu do not see them as God. God, I.Am, Jehova, these are all christian concepts. Muslims beleive the higher power to be Allah, the hindus is Brahman (The world soul...I think) not sure what bhudist believe.

well, no, muslims believe in YHWH as well as christians and jews- they even believe that jesus was a prophet... but still, wouldn't that higher power be classified as God, even if His role, in their eyes, is different?

Not if they don't beleive as such. Its not God to them, so you can't classify it as God for them.

You breathe just like
all the other men

___(With a subtle hint
____of strawberries
____dipped in musk.)

bringing spider web memories
that smashed glass can't begin
to comprehend.

Chipping teeth on metal
is okay when you're in love

___(tick-tock the mouse
_____is running)
because these nails are projectile
and not just made for wood.

________(You put the "us" in "lust")

But allegro is just another word
for 'nothing better to do'

___and you forgot to keep me singing.

"these white walls symbolize freedom"

surrounded by crimson,
your existance denied,
a leech learns of a leech,
and selfishly cried.
the sterile white walls
with apathy grin,
months over a lifetime,
the black ritual begins.
you were never awake
but you will now only sleep
as cold Steel Liberty,
closer it creeps.
just as the red dragon
swept one third from the sky
one third of this generation
by Charitable Freedom die.
and glorified it is,
by leeches given a voice,
fighting for freedom to kill,
the freedom of "choice"

wrote this beast for english, we're working on poetry now... edit- if anyone can think of a good synonym or something close to it for "selfishly", please let me know, it's the part i like least

Not really a poem, but I though it interesting to put here. It was on a signe that some one held at the march for life. It applies only if you have christian values, so please, no criticism about its meaning.

To the abortion doctor:
When you die
DO not look for a loved one
For the hand that will take you form this world
Will be the hand of the first child you killed
Or the last child you killed
My God and the rest have mercy on your soul.

Yes, Its not a poem, and its a bit radical, but its how I feel.

When I saw you you were blinded
....and you could finally see
You had been defeated, you were broken
....yet you were never stronger
You had had been left for death
...but you still had so much life
You were defeaned by the silencing scream
...yet your words were never clearer
I once held you to calm your nerves
...and now you cry no longer
You had been once dreaming
.... but now you were fully awake
