very cool, zombie. very cool. it's too bad my fave blue robo, Megaman, doesn't get this kind of care or dedication by his creators anymore. Damn you, Capcom. Stop being stingy and make a real game!

I'm a fan of Mega Man, but I haven't actually played too many of his games.
Dragon Quest VIII makes leveling your characters so friggin' easy. You can whistle for monsters to attack you rather than wander around in circles looking for a random encounter. Plus it plays real nice too.

Plus it plays real nice too. so I hear. the only rpg I've played where leveling up was a breeze was a sub-par rpg for PSX called Shadow Madness. Not only were max levels capped out at 40, but between an incredibly easy monster attraction/evasion system, character manipulation via battle skills, and double to triple exp. for combination attacks that resulted in defeating your opponents, everyone in your different teams caps off at the 40 mark before you're even half way through disc 1. The rest of the game from there focuses solely on exploration, puzzles and reading...lots and lots of reading. as per mega man, if you have like...25 bucks to spare, you can snag the 15th year anniversary bundle for gamecube/ps2. it's pretty fun and nostalic in more ways than I care to admit. and it also has the unreleased to America Rockman/Forte aka Megaman/Bass game (only availble in america via ROMS) which is incredibly fun to switch off between Megaman and Bass.

Virgil Hawkins I found it was pretty easy to level up in Kingdom Hearts II. yes...that's right, I almost forgot about the kingdom hearts. both games were pretty easy to level up in, actually. ...in fact, everything about both games were too easy. the only marginally difficult thing was Sephiroth in the tournament in KH1. And even that I managed to beat faster than my copy of megaman II for Game Boy (I've gotten it down to 1hr 38min for that game straight through).

Stop being stingy and make a real game! Dude, I can't believe you just accused Capcom of being stingy. Don't get me wrong, I'm as outraged about the injustices Megaman has suffered as anyone, but they just came out with Dead Rising. Oh dear God. I got it today and just... Wow. The level of freedom in that game is mind boggling. You can run over zombies with a LAWNMOWER. The squelch under your blades of doom. You can snip off limbs with hedging shears. You can beat them to death (again) with MANEQUINS. When it breaks? Pick up a body part of your choice and keep killing. I like the torso. surprised

Are there actual missions besides, you know, staying the hell alive?

You are also trying to help out some department of homeland security people for some reason I don't know of. Also, you're a photo journalist, so you also have to take pictures of zombies in huge groups, or doing something odd, or wearing funny masks. surprised
