Kari didn't move or say anything else while Kia was silent, she wasn't expecting to be received kindly after admitting to her lie but was surprised by the invite to find water and get cleaned up. She blinked up at the lioness, looking confused.

"Y-you sure?" she stammered out, slowly getting to her feet. Unable to hold it back, she whimpered when she put weight on her paws- the front one in particular was in pain, and one in the back hadn't gotten away mark free but it wasn't nearly as bad.

"Ok, thank you," Kari sniffed, glad to have the offer of help. She limped to her friend and leaned on her, trying to support as much of her weight as she could on her own without letting the pain stop her walking anyway. Then together they headed for the waterhole.
