Im from Colorado. Most the gays are beaten up, or killed, what ever happens first, The Lesbians are either looked up upon or vey down apon or just plaib there. THe bi's are also just there, so here, Living is hard if your gay! sweatdrop how sad hu!! sweatdrop xp

i live in michagan as well...lakeorion that is...and at my school...it's pretty much 25% seem bi/gay/lesbain. no one seems to care if you are (becuse they just think your just frineds unless you kiss or something) but alot if they know you are...you get tesed a bit... but i don't know alot...most of my frinds and the people i hang out with are gay/bi/les.
for example...i had this strange habbit of clinging to my femail crushe's arm..she didn't mind it. (i think she thought it was cutie or something. she's bi.) anyway, people might look...(damit...i'm bad at this...i never paid attention if people stared or anything...) people never said anything to us or harassed us.
my family is so-so on the fact i'm bi...my brothers make alot of fun of me for being bi and say i'm lesbian...(people can never see the diffence...) they never stop making fun and teaseing me...i put up with it becuse i love her. my mom doesn't care...just don't bring it up too much to her. she told me that "everyone has a bit of a attcraction towards the same sex. it just matters if you act on it." meaning if i accually slept with a girl. my grandparents on my mom's side are totaly homophopic...they don't know that i'm bi. but they are very aganst gays and such.

I'm from San Diego California and I rarely get harrassed. People here are generally very accepting and cool with it. The occasional jackass will come up but they usually get viscious glares, especially from the chicks, (yay for girls for being more accepting!) and so it doesn't happen much.

Sesshie-chan: Wo that was a long answer! whee My grandparent is homophobic too and she has poisned the minds of almost all her childres (my 5 uncles and one aunt). She didn't get to my mom though. But my sister thinks I'm saying that I'm les for attention... stressed grrrrr...

Ah, I've also lived in Colorado for most of my life. I did happen to live in a very liberal area though. The rest of Colorado's pretty dang right wing.

Where I live now, the general attitude is "We don't approve, but you're not us, so we don't care."
Yeah. It's the whole love thy neighbor thing. They don't like the gay part, but they like you. It's nice.
Oh, and we just legalized gay marriage. (I'm a province in Canada.)
...Despite the fact that we are one of the only places in North America that doesn't have Sunday shopping. xd Gosh, I love it here.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to tell you about the opinions of the sweet children. No one knows about me, except me, and now maybe you. Except you don't know who -I- am so it doesn't matter. So, I don't get harassed, or at least not for that. Plus, harassment was -so- Junior High.
The general opinion seems to be that the guys think gay girls are hot, and the girls think gay guys are hot. They both just hate the gay people of their own gender. It probably doesn't help that we haven't learned -anything- about sexual orientation in school.
