Kilayla couldn't help the gasp that escaped her lips when the new little girl, Jazzie thrust herself into the mix. This girl was wearing a dress, which Kilayla thought was kind of funny. The big thing, though, the thing that made her gasp was the color of the girl's hair. It was both of Kiki's favorite colors, green, and blue. Kilayla wondered breifly if it was normal for little girls from Catzi's {and she knew they were all from Catzi's, 'cos...'cos she did} to have such colors in their hair. She wondered if she was different.
"My name--I'm Kilayla," she said, moving over closer to Sauda.

Jazzie unclasped her hands and straightened the skirt of her dress. She grinned with an inward joy, she loved the attention! Jazzie returned the examination quickly, picking up on the girl's bright green eyes and the older girl's matching hair. Both were pretty girls. She liked them immidiately. "Hi Kilayla! Nice to meet you!"
Dizzy nodded a thank you and entered the dinning room quickly. This was going a lot better than she'd hoped. The people so far seemed very nice, if a bit odd. Of course, who wasn't these days?

always wanting to help her friends spyder became worried. 'what you so stressed about? if i can ask that is...' she asked and then trailed off, not wanting to make av anymore stressed then he already was.
hobo finally got enough courage to at least attempt talking to someone, or at least make his presence known to the others. so he wandered over to the small group that seemed to be growing larger and sat down next to one of the little girls so that he was at their level

Chewing his lip Macyn frowned he didn't know what to do with himself, was he supposed to sit or mingle...he didn't want to mingle just yet but there were alot of people here, he should be glad that Kitty wasn't with him but he missed her,

Leaving his gift on the table, Mako turned around to keep an eye on Luca, making sure he left the evacuated room. The scent of burgers then caught his attention, and the rumbling of his stomach joined in the effort to effectively take his mind off of Lucavi. Chewing on a burger, Mako smiled and accepted the flower as Soco handed it to him, twirling it in his free hand.
Luca also caught the scent of meat and headed over to the food to sink his teeth into a burger. His eyes stared determinedly forward, sparing nobody a glance in his stubborn defiance. He hadn't even wanted to come...

She shook Soco's hand happily, pleased with how he responded. Very nice, polite. She liked that. As Soco left, however, Sauda watched him curiously. Tsunake received one of the pretty bouquets, filled with white flowers. That was nice too.
Tsunake glanced over at Mako, holding the flowers awkwardly in her left hand, as though she wasn't quite sure what to do with them. "Fancy meeting you here." She grinned, curiously studying Lucavi. Ohh, someone didn't look too pleased to be here.
"It curls all by itself?' Sauda sounded stunned; she had only ever seen people with straight hair before. As the new girl came over, her eyes widened a tad, fixed on how strangely beautiful the newcomer's hair was. It was bright green and blue, pulled back almost elegantly. "I'm Sauda, it's nice to meet you Jazzie." She smiled, liking the girl's enthusiasm already.

Mako smiled at Tsu as he saw her heading over towards him, putting his burger down on a plate and tipping his flower against hers, as if cheering glasses, in greeting. "Ah, but of course, I couldn't pass up a party with friends...although I think somebody could've" he said, smirking and glancing quickly at Luca. "I'm afraid I'm an evil parent."

Jazzie beamed. "Nice to meet you too Sauda, Kilayla! I live with Dizzy and her kitties!" Jazzie sniffed, her expressing flashing curiosity for a moment before she decided she wasn't hungry. Her expression returned as the man sat down next to them. "Hello! What's your name?"
Dizzy glanced about quickly looking for a place to situate herself, not normally the shy one she was suprised at the feeling. She occupied herself for a moment, retreiving a can of cola from the coolers.

Kilayla was beginning to realize that maybe she was a bit shy. She looked around vaguely for Theif, but didn't see him. Where'd he gone to? Kiki moved a little closer to Sauda again, and this time they brushed shoulders. For some reason Kiki's shyness didn't seem to apply to the green-haired girl, and was, conversely increased by the one in the white dress.
"Call me Kiki," she said quietly to Jazzie. "I live with Theif. He's got a tail."
The other little girl's attention seemed to be wavering. So, instead, Kilayla asked Sauda, "Do you think my hair is weird?"

hobo perked up for a minute when he realized he was being talked to 'my names hobo' he said holding his hand out to jazzie, 'what's yours?' he asked. then looked around at the others in the small group 'i live with spyder' he said nodding

Macyn decided that standing near the wall akwardly would be the best plan of action i mean why not right? If someone wanted to talk to him he'd be there and waiting.
Hand's in his pockets he leaned back so he was leaning on the wall and just watched everyone else socialize with the people they new or people they just wanted to talk to.

hobo saw macyn leaning against the wall and, to lazy to get up, waved at him trying to get him to come over while mouthing the words 'why you over there all alone' at him

"You think my hair's weird, Mister Hobo?" Kiki asked, in horror. She'd only noted that he'd nodded after her question, not what context he'd nodded in.

hobo looked startled at the question, 'no, i didn't even know that your hair was in question.' hobo pointed at macyn, 'you see that man? i was trying to get him to join this jovial troupe and be social or something' he said explaining his previous actions. 'and your hair's very pretty' he added as a side note

Tsunake laughed softly, also giving another look at Luca. "He's pretty cute. I'm lucky to say that my kiddo seems to be having a good time." She gestured to Sauda, feeling pleased that the girl had opened up and was making new friends.
Sauda blinked curiously at the man, then returned her attention to Kiki. "Weird? Nope. It's pretty--it looks like it'd be fun to play with." Her fingers lingered near her own scraggled locks, as though hesitant about them. "....Does mine?"
