Tomoko slinked back, feeling like an outsider as she sucked another petal off the flow she was holding.
Kasumoto looked at her and layed a hand on her shoulder.

Nereida shifted from foot to foot, anxious to get back to the game. "You can come play with us, too," she told Tomoko, "But you gotta keep up."

Iris is in the sand sitting in her towel with her sunglasses, she love sun and her skin made funny things with sun, she can see more colors in her skin when the sun ligth touch her. She hear the little conbersation on pirates, she like pirates and go near to Nereida to join.
" I want play Pirates toooo" she said no more loud she know that Nereida is bothersome with loud sounds.

"Cool!" Exclaimed Nereida. She gave Tomoko a last questioning glance about whether she wanted to come and started at a slightly fast pace towards the sand dunes. "Come on!"

Iris follow Nereida towards the sand dunes and ask "Nere-chan are you the Capitan pirate? I can be the watchman or watchwoman better" she giggle

Nereida paused at the top of the dune and struck a heroic pose. "I am... um... Captain Cannary! Follow me!"

Kayce gave Ronnie, Tomoko, and the strange and unfamiliar man a wave of greeting, the most she could manage as she was too distracted by the thought of something more exciting. It wasn't that she was rude; she was simply disinterested in the introductions.
As soon as Nereida took off for the sand dunes, Kayce followed at an easy jog. It was more difficult running in sand, but she still managed to follow well enough. "Captain Cannary?" she queried as she caught up to Nereida, utterly lost as to the significance. Still, this was more fun than talking with the stuffy adults, so she followed willingly.
Amyla sighed. "So much for manners," she commented, watching her fae run off to play. Well, at least she was socializing. It was better than nothing.

Nereida shrugs the question off. "Sparrow was taken." she skidded down the sand dune into ankle deep water and looked around, surveying the cache of driftwood swords, quickly picking a long, straight one. "Ahoy!" she called to her friends at the top of the dune, waving the sword in the air.

Kayce blinked. That was a good enough reason, she supposed, but why were they bird names? Perhaps she had better not ask. Half-sliding, half-running to the base of the dune, Kayce was delighted to find lots of pieces of driftwood. Time to pick a sword!
She picked one up. Nah, too whippy. The next one was crooked. She discarded it as well. The third one she selected was too skinny. Nope, that wouldn't do. Her fourth choice was the best. It was far lighter than her practice swords at home, but at least it was solid, fairly straight, and balanced. Yes, this one would do. "Ahoy?" she replied, more in query than response.

((OOC: To force Dierdre into the rp I'm creating my own time space continuim. I'm ripping Ronnie out of the beach, sending her home to find Dierdre, and sending them back to the beach in like 1 second... stare So bare with me please, and just imagine I'd RP'd her leaving.))
Ronnie made her way back down to the beach, her fae in tow. Dierdre had her hair pulled back into a high ponytail, a few pieces of the white strands visible. She was wearing a single piece black swimming suit and looking rather sullen.
It wasn't that she didn't like the water and sun, she did, but she was in the middle of re-decorating her bedroom. It was important... and they'd had to stop on the way and drop gifts off for people she hadn't even met yet.
Ronnie set up her towel again near the girls and boy. "I'm back, and here is little Dierdre."
Dierdre gave a silent nod to each person, measuring them in her mind.
"Why don't you go and try and find the other girls Dierdre?"
Rolling her eyes, she set down her white towel and began following the little footsteps toward the sand dune.

Amyla grinned up at Ronnie and the approaching fae. "Hello, Dierdre," she said cheerfully before the fae went off to find the other similar children. "She is quite beautiful," the woman remarked, watching the fae leave.

"I can't believe how tall she is for a child." Ronnie replied as she sat down upon her towel. "I thought it'd be best to bring her here so she can get to know the other children. But I'm worried if she'll actually try and get to know them. She seems kind of... closed off in some aspects. Hopefully this will help."

"Pirate talk," replied Nereida, who seemed to bee looking for something. "Means 'Hello,'" she continued. "I'm captain, Iris can be navigator, er... You can man the cannons, and..." She glanced up at the top of the dune and noticed the sillouhete of the new fae. "Do you want to play?" she called.

Dierdre looked down to stare at the three fae below her. The blue/green skinned one seemed to be the leader. She walked/slid down the dune into the shallow water. It felt good to be in the water, it cooled down her feet.
Side stepping around the twigs and driftwood she approached the rest. "Ronnie told me I should come down here and play with you guys." She said it matter of factly, with little emphasis anywhere. "What are you playing?"

Cannons? Well, that didn't sound like too bad a job, even if a pretend one. Hmmm... but cannons did need ammunition, didn't they? Cannonballs! The thought having occurred to her, Kayce scuttled down closer to the water. Sticking her 'sword' upright in the sand so as not to lose it, the fae promptly picked up a double handful of sand and wet it in the ocean, trying to form it into roughly a spherical shape. She paused upon hearing Nereida's call, squinting a bit at the shadow up atop the dune. Another fae?
Chuckling a bit, Amyla rolled over onto her stomach, liking the warm sunshine and the relative peace. "Well, some kids do have their growth spurts early. Well, even if the socializing doesn't help, can it really hurt?" she pointed out, yawning a bit.
