The Samurai And.... Im back. The way I see the issue of what to take seriously is all about context. Not just what is happening but also keep in mind also who wrote the text you are reading. Jesus gave more straightforward instructions to his disciples while He talked in parables to the other followers. Jesus sometimes gave explenations to His disciples when he did talk in parables, if they didn't get it. When it comes to certain disagreements with the church it is often most wise to just not do it. Like masturbation, I still don't know if it's completely wrong but I tell people who ask to just not. Better to play it safe I say.
If told a lesbian about that once and because it doesn't also say woman kind she tried to say it wasn't pertaining to her.
Like you said there are so many issues that people just simply can't grasp. When it's something like my example, homosexuality you shouldn't argue with that person. That aren't really going to get it unless God gives them a revelation about it, that's the reason why I think God said not to argue over his word.

But we are also not supposed to let our brothers fall into sin. if you catch your brother in sin, bring it to them, tell them about it. Homosexuality is an abomination to God, so is abortion and divorce in this country. The children of this day and age have become rebelious and more and more children are growing up without ANY contact with the gospel. I'm not innocent at all but we should hold our country to a higher standard.

The Samurai But we are also not supposed to let our brothers fall into sin. if you catch your brother in sin, bring it to them, tell them about it. Homosexuality is an abomination to God, so is abortion and divorce in this country. The children of this day and age have become rebelious and more and more children are growing up without ANY contact with the gospel. I'm not innocent at all but we should hold our country to a higher standard.
my hometown, Las Vegas is really becoming sincity. It's depressing. On the news they said that Oscar Goodman(our mayor) is very affliated with Playboy and they showed a pic of him with a blondebomb shell with her boobs blocked out. Then He gave P. Diddy a holiday because he funded yet another club in one of our hotels. Diddy Day. stare Someone shoot me now. Martin Luther gets a day for being a righteous peaceful man and dying for the cause..P. Diddy adds another place of sensual pleasure and he gets a day.

t0paz I agree although all we can do is tell them and pray for them. Like my leader says, some people plant the seed and others water it but only God can give the increase, or whatever it may be.

Wow, you are in a band. That is awesome. I thought about learning the bass guitar once, even took lessons. Unforunately I spend too much time fiddling with computers to practice, so... I don't really practice any musical instrument. But I have made a couple of techno songs, on the computer lol .

I'm from the Cali of Fornia ^_^...its hot right now....but recently, its been CRAZY weather...cuz on some days it'll be cloudy and rainy and the next day it can be so hot!!! sweatdrop
