This is more a question than an idea:
Where do movie threads go?
I'm speaking more in terms of music video or funny video edit videos rather than specific clips that people want to talk about (which can probably go in the main or classic forums depending on the episodes involved).
As for fan-made videos - do they go in the main forum or the picture forum? There are a few in both at the mo. And do we want an official fan-video thread that they all get posted in?

hmmm... All Doctor who videos that are recent go into the main forum.. and all videos that are of the eigth and before that go into the clasic subforum. Anything else goes into the chat subforum.
Gifs and small animations go into the picture gallery, no exceptions.

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this yet, and just ignore me if they have, but I didn't see a topic like I'm suggesting in the RP section, so I'm going to assume no one suggested it.
How about a threat in the Role Playing section to teach new Role Players how to RP? To someone who has never role played before, just joining really isn't an option they need someone to teach them. And a little guild that just has a small RPing section is really the perfect place to learn. It's certainly far kinder than the RP section of the forums as a whole. If we did do this, I would be more than willing to head up the thread.

Or a spoiler subforum, so they don't clutter up the general talk. I think thats a good idea. Then there would be no need for all this 'putting text in white' and massive spoiler warnings.

That would probably override the main forum then, since 95% of the main forum is spoilers, 3% is interviews and somewhat-off topic things, and 2% is me ...and you talking about....what we usually talk about. 3nodding

I demand more stuff about who the actors were, and I think it would be cool if you kind of made a fourm about places you can go to descus stuff about Doctor who, and not just on gaia, like on other websites, or even at conventions.

Well, erm..I'm going to be polite and not demand, mrgreen but that does sound like a good idea. As long as it is made clear that the no-bashing rule still applies (please). That way we could have a sub-forum for the actors, and one thread each for each actor who has played the Doctor, and perhaps a few extras for the more favorited companions like Sarah Jane and Romana and Rose, and Jack, even. (not that that's it, just that's all I can think up at the moment). And we could use that to talk about other roles that those actors have done, and we would learn a bit of trivia on our favorite actors as well! Not necessarily a mini-biography, just what else they've acted in and stuff about them. razz After all, in another one of these stickys/announcements, seffy-chan said that we don't need people donating gold since we've got nothing to use it on, so perhaps just one more sub-forum? And maybe even do a contest to promote whatever you mods think up. That would be fun, and increase activity for whatever... 3nodding

Its just that the only thing we CAN use it on is to buy more subforums. We cannot take the gold out of the funds. Its impossible. If we could I would have Given back to the people who first donated for the guild and used the rest for contests. If you guys want more sub-forums then its no problem.. just prove that at least half of the users would use it and then talk to the other mods.

Do you think they will ever do any upgrades to the Guild system so that you might be able to buy other guild improvements with that gold?
(I'm asking out of curiousity as one sort of considering a Guild herself....)
