 The neat handwriting continues. It seems as if broken off and then returned to later. Taliesin Dear Journal,
I did promise I'd tell you about hide and seek, and I suppose I will. Hide and seek was, fun...kinda. At first it was okay, I was counting and Selma came by and we met one of the toddlers. But then we finished and someone had locked us in. I still don't know who but when I find out. I'm going to do something mean. I *hate* the dark. It's only gotten worse as I've been getting older. I don't know. It's creepy and I can't see and I *hate* the dark.
Well, guess who came to get us out. My old rival Vincent. I wish he hadn't seen me like that. I clung to him and cried like...well, like he said. Like a girl. I don't mind.. He saw me being weak and afraid and I keep worrying he's going to use that against me. I don't remember much of the party, I skipped out on it early.
Well, he never really said anything about it to me. In fact, Vincent has been..almost nice. I'm so confused about him. But I guess I'm confused about most everyone in our group. Niki seems to be the only sane one around.

I talked to my Matron today. It was strange, she kept talking about getting older and people doing..strange things to each other. I really just wanted to run away and hide under the covers from her. At least then I could keep my mind straight. This getting older stuff. It just keeps getting more complicated. Let me back up a bit since I don't think you know the whole story.
You know Selma right? She's the quiet one, shy and doesn't speak much. She's really nice and I try to draw her out of her shell. She also doesn't think very highly of herself. I like her, she's nice and all. Well, appparently my Matron has noticed my interest in Selma and seems determined to help "young love" bloom. I'm not in love, I just like Selma. She's nice to be around.
She gave me a lecture about how when people love each other, yadda yadda. It was gross. All that...stuff. She talked about how I was getting older and that maybe I should consider the girls. Consider? I know that we're eventually pair off and have kids but we're still just barely teens!
Then, then! She trots out this book, and tells me to read it and remember everything in there. I've never been so embarrassed in my entire life. She even stood over me to make sure I started reading! Talk about being concerned for our development. I think she took it a little far.

Okay...maybe the book does have something. I really like Selma...perhaps I'll try this date thing? That's what you do when you like a girl? That's not Niki anyway. ^^ We'll see how it goes.

Selma wandered down the halls of the waystation, looking for the room she had been told Tali was living in, until his move to Ceiba. She knocked on the door, and receiving no response, she slipped the paper she held in her hand under the door. Upon opening, Tali would read in slightly cramped handwriting: Selma Dear Tali, How are you doing? I haven't seen you much in the past couple of days, and I'm starting to miss you. I know soon you and I will be leaving Nanedin, and I wanted to talk with you at least once more before we go on our seperate ways. Will you meet me in the Earth garden area you took me to before testing? I'll be there all day, reading a book, so come whenever you can. I hope to see you soon. Love, Selma

We got to spend Easter with the younger kids today. And... It was weird. It didn't feel the same anymore. Something happened afterwards that I just can't shake. I think I liked it.. And that scares me.

Adulthood. And I thought being a teen was hard. Things have gone so wrong lately. I know I haven't been the best about keeping up on writing and all that stuff, so I'll start with the ceremony.
Everything went great. I became part of the Water Elementals, Niki got Air, as did Vincent, and Selma got Earth. Unfortunately.. Parmida was colorless. I couldn't believe it. It didn't even hit me until they started to shoo us out fo the room.
