She swam to shore and got out of the water starting to gather up their belongings. Opening a portal, she waited for him with a grin on her face.

*he gathered his stuff up as well and follwed her to the portal. he looks at her grin and starts to get really excited. he knows that look meant she wants something. he grins back and walks in with her*

Sen had his shoes off and was walking along the shore. He remembered when Mari changed into that demon. He looked down, frustrated and distraught at the same time. He too knew what it was like to change into a relentless monster... That Alanna girl seemed nice though, she certainly had a better approach than Mari did.
Sen stopped and sat down on the sand, hugging his knees looking out at the water and began to think...

Mari was already there on a blanket laying down at the shoreline. She didn't realize anyone was there with her. She kept reaching her hand over, grabbing a rock or seashell, and throwing it into the ocean from her layed down posistion. She didn't know he was there. She was there on her own because she needed a break and to clear her mind.

Sen noticed a rock plunking into the ocean causing ripples in his peripheral vision and looked to his side and saw her. She was the only one to equal, maybe even surpass him in wits and in battle. "You come out here to think too, huh?" He said in a solemn yet curious voice.

She noticed his voice and didn't have to look to know it was him. She just picked up another rock and threw it into the water. "The ocean calms me. I'm a Cancer... Water sign... I helps overall." was all she said back. Her voice was one of serenity at this point. She didn't feel like arguing or fighting. She just wanted to be at peace today.

Sen looked down, "Yeah..." He looked out to the water again, "I don't remember much after I woke up in that tube...but...the water kinda calms me down too...right down to the sounds of the waves." He chuckled a little, "Ironic isn't it...A guy like me who's made of water...doesn't even share the relaxing traits of it..." His chuckling ceased and he kept looking down. His mood was not cynical, not cheery, but it was one of sadness. "Why did you accept me...? After the way I insulted you and offended you...?"

"It's not my place to judge anyone. I'm a freak myself, if you want to use a word as negative as that." She just kept her tone about her. Didn't change at all and just listened to him and answered his questions.
