Troden combed his fingers through his hair, sighing as he walked. Maybe he'd just have to find out himself...with the proper backup of course. He grinned before he slunk away into the nearest alleyway, jumping to the rooftops as he began to move towards the Rajen base.

Remus quickly fell into step beside her. "The lycans are generally a very disorganized race. They have a few groups and leaders but mostly look after themselves. There are a select few spies whose identity remains secret. They're street rats who scrounge for information. That's how I found out about you." He gripped the handle of his cane a little more tightly. "They are also very proud. I'm living proof that anything can be construed as an insult. Generally the punishment for high insults is death. They look down on vampires as backstabbers who have no honor. Are there anymore tidbits of information you wish me to reveal?"
Before she could answer a stranger bumped into her. Startled, Remus pushed the button hidden below the grip of his cane. He pulled out the blade before he knew what he was doing. He stood in a ready postion, sword fully drawn, but made no move to attack.

"Peace Remus," Lina said as she turned around, the grip on one of her swords loosening as she saw who it was, "This Rikku, the Bastet leader." she watched the girl closely as she said, "Interesting way of greeting another Rikku."

Remus said nothing but sheathed his sword. A satisfieing little click sounded as the blade locked into place. Remus carefully looked at the leader of the Bastets.
Well, she's not what I expected.

Obsidian followed the man easily, her curiosity now peeked. She kept herself concealed from him, she wanted to know where he was going, maybe then she'd show herself.

laughing softly "sorry about that i was being followed here into the city so ive been sneaking around trying to avoid whoever it was" Rikku sighing softly "you have no idea how bad i wanted to attack them but one vampire against 20 or more others is honestly not a fair fight" sighing again she leaned against the wall
glancing over at Remus Rikku asked curiously "what did you expect of me Remus?"

Troden was oblivious to the follower, his thoughts still on the problem at hand as he looked at the back of his hand, the Rajen sign glowing brightly as he neared the Rajen base, "Finally," he said in relief, noting mentally to himself to train more on his speed as he jumped from the building and barely landed before he was running.

"who ever said i read his mind Lina" Rikku said looking innocent, laughing softly "i cant help it, if someone looks at me directly in the eyes i can read their thoughts" glancing back towards Remus, Rikku sarcastically replied "Oh would you like me to leave then come back?"

Lina wasn't buying the innocent look. It doesn't look good on any vampire, but she did understand the nature of her power. If it couldn't be helped, then she would have to train harder so that it could. But for now...she would be excused from the intrusion.

Remus was careful not to meet Rikku's eyes. He directed his gaze at her forehead instead. He decided it wiser to ignore her comment and let Lina talk instead.

"its not something i have any control over Lina, if you dont want it to happen anyone carrying important secrets or anything like that tell them not to look me in the eyes even for the briefest second if they come across me" sighing softly "would any of you know when the new moon comes?"

She had to speed up just a bit to keep up with him. She picked up the slight smell of magic, it was minor but she picked it up anyway and then saw the faint glowing. Her dark eyes narrowed and she continued following.
