The under sea bastion (update first page, Dom's challenge!)

Mental note: Hack one of his legs off... he thought as he stormed down the hall, ignoring the usual happening about the place. He was headed to his lab, to his privacy. There th changeling would come up with a way to put both Dom and his pet out of his misery, and perhaps Lily to. Not that she really deserved to be eaten, but she'd probably end up getting in the way anyhow.

As Kevran stormed back to his lab, he would inevitably pass Jonas, who was now making his way back to his own lab next to Kevran's having just finished eating. Kevran would find the man walking down the hall in a white trench coat, nibbling at a piece of toast as he moved down the hall slowly. Jonas glanced over at the changling and nodded to his comrade, wondering at his strange gray skin and thinking about what a great test subject the man would make. A shame he couldn't do so. He sighed gently, stepping into his lab as he prepared to continue with his own experiments....

"Done." He sighed to himself softly, as his hands flittered over the last few sheets of paper. The design for the harness had been completed, and now he needed only the creature to fill it. Managing the Leviathan into the harness would prove amazingly difficult, but once managed would leave the beast a marvel to all forces upon the planet.

Did I hear the beautiful word of done? From you my colorless fleshy friend of all people? *Dom chuckles and glides into the room. Kaiori patters behind him; her eyes are blindfolded by a bloody bandage. The thrumming in her chest acts as an echolocation to direct her around the room. Dom had been a busy bee. Perfecting his current projects and working on weapons of mass destruction. He has created many minions incorporating organic matter and man made materials. His minions are monstrous and grotesque but they get the job done. They have even begun to build each other, so Dom doesn't even have to work on them. The moment a minion is finished he begins work. They have been constructing a steel shield behind Dom's magical one. The shield is pressurized and monitored constantly by trackers and cameras. Any movement in the water around the shield is recorded. Dom's creatures are amphibious so they can walk on land or swim in water. They have begun work outside the shield, making hot plasma beams on the outside, which react to movement. Dom is perfecting his beautiful base for war.*

"Mm. Finnaly. Just a matter of incorporating it into the actual beast. That aside, I have a few other projects I'd like to set into motion as soon as possible. It will however require a certain level of resources and dedication from the breeding pods. If you have them to spare I'd like to start now, if not I'd appreciate having a section built to accomodate my designs. I do believe Jonas is also making quite a bit of progress and would enjoy similar tools." He replied, his demeanor having changed during the thrill of success. He wasn't exactly 'happy' per se, but now he was at least mannerly and personable. Much less grumpy then he had been, and even slightly disturbed when he noticed the blindfold on Kai.

His casual glance rested on her for but a moment, before moving over Dom. A slight shrug then, before his white-coated from shuffled over to a small screen, gray fingers tapping the navy blue there as he watched results slide up. Wireframe designs of creatures that could exist both above and below water, though the weapon designs seemed to suggest surface combat.

A soft sigh could be heard from Jonas's lab as he leaned back in his chair, looking up at the ceiling blankly for several minutes. Though he was making good progress with his own projects, he coukldn't help but feel that it wasn't enough. Of course, the people who'd been sacrificed for his projects might disagree, but that wasn't his concern. What was was the fact that he didn't have enough progress in his super units, and he was having some diffculty reworking them to his satisfaction. So he was taking a few minutes to think it over in his head before staring back up, hoping for a flash of insight....

*Dom sits on a balcony over his training forces. His troops have tripled in size, strength and diversity. He laughs deep in his chest, not wanting to laugh out loud. His amplifier has been completed and his siren has only grown in potency. She lies at his feet, isolated in a clear tank of her own. She's too powerful to be left to roam around. Her abilities have changed, now, her sweet scent begins to lure the mind and senses, Dom found that out with a small incident. Her skin with one touch can send a man with a weak heart into a permanent state of hypnosis. Her voice range has also increased to great heights. Lily has been the caregiver for this underwater angel even since her metamorphoses.*

Challenge One! Get to the Gates! (Difficulty: easy)

Objectives:
1. Defeat the shrimp swarm (done)
2. Demolish the robot shark!
3. Push the green button! (oooo ^_^)

*You are now submerged in water. A golden dome lies below you with a large metal gate and an interesting glowing green button. The surface above you is a tough current, there must be a storm above water. Somehow Kaiori’s voice rings out in your mind as she swims circles around you. “Your goal is clear, you must reach our gate. Once you have reached the gate you must simply press the green button. But beware all that lies between here and that gate!” With that she swims off. Leaving you to the fishes, so to speak as a dark cloud of pink moves through the water towards you.*

Xypher was limited by his vision underwater, he could see but everything was at a blur, and he had a limited supply of oxygen. He did however notice the pink cloud heading at him. He was uncertain what it was at first, so he simply swam where he was, his daggers out, hovering in that position he kept the blades at the ready.

*As the cloud approaches you can now see it is merely made up of hundreds of rather large shrimp. These quick moving shrimp are attracted to heat in the water, as you might notice, they have no eyes. Also you might notice their oddly large mouths and their very many sharp teeth. The swarm is approaching quickly, how will you react to this challenge?*

As Xypher noticed the shrimp he took out his second dagger, and hit the release switch on his forearm blades, causing them to swing out. He had four blades now, and watched carefully at the approaching shrimp. Xypher was fast, he would be able to cut through the shrimp like butter, the only problem would be their numbers. But every swipe in a swarm like that was sure to take out atleast three, cutting them to shreds...
