Unlike certain people, Moonblade simple couldn't dodge electricity... especially when he was already moving backwards. Being tossed back slightly, the undead abomination didn't waste any more time. With his left hand he tore a small vial, fasoned to a chain, off his neck and charged back towards Damrius.

He leading with his left fore-arm extended in front of him, half hunched over so he was lower to the ground.

Damrius reacted with such ferocity, it almost seemed as if he had gone berserk.

As moonblade came towards him, his sword was nearly having it's tip touch the wooden, rain soaked floor, and he rushed in, swinging in an upward motion as he neared moonblade.

he hadn't even noticed the Vial.

Moonblade vered off to the right, dodging the incomming blow. On the rebound of the sidestep, he spring back and attempt to stick Dreadnaught in Dame's side horizontally.
PostPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2007 10:01 pm

Damrius, mostly from the momentum of the wild swing and momentum, more or less moved ahead of moonblade. As the Drednaught came up, it grazed his side, blood coming out slowly, but still enough to make it hurt.

With a slight yelp of suprise and pain, he skidded in a spinning halt on the ground, he half faced Silver, as another beam of lightning crashed down right next to the building, and damrius drew in as much energy as he could. He was full now, and this was one of the more dangerous things about him.

He held his sword to the ready, his white clothing now red and pink from the blood and water soaked clothes.

Moonblade blinked. As long as Damrius could draw power from the storm, he would never run dry on energy. As an after thought, it was kind of a bad idea to challenge a lightning elemental near a city that almost always had thunderstorms overhead. Alas, there was little that could be done about that now.

For now, he merely got back into an acceptable stance, leading with his right and pointing Dreadnaught forward.

Damrius shifted slightly, his right side now towards moonblade, the sword point gleaming with another, far off glint of lightning. He began to mutter something under his breath, undecipherable, but then said something he knew the Dragoon/lich would understand.

Si lar shafaer wer souls di wer Damned ekess majak ve asta faer ereke nomeno Chikohk di wer Damned, vur ias wer Athiyk Reaper!

As he said this, his body began to glow brilliantly with the black lightning. it mostly appeared around his neck, where the lines were up tot he bottom of his jaw started to climb up in a fashion similliar to the shape of two claws ready to grab his face.

on top of that, his white clothing began to show the full marks of his body. It's almost like fresh ink had started too seep through. As it came through, and in the shapes of the lightning, they began to become one with the coat and pants.

His hair, which was slightly longer than the last time they had seen them, started to spike around the back, and a little on the top. All of it moved towards the back of his head, and the brilliant blonde was now marked witht the marks of black lightning, making very cool highlight effects.

Most interesting though, was the bright, white glow behind his sunglasses. In an instant the sunglasses shattered outward, , the frame falling from his face, crashing to the ground rather loudly, and the fragmented peices moving falling towards his sword - Which would be the most interesting peice of this new attire.

The sword, or Spirit Reaper, had it's blade now black, and the blood red gem that was the hand guard now spiked outward, crystal spikes coming in spikes of all sizes, now provided a hand guard, the Black Scythe now glowing within it, a brilliant black void in the middle of the red.

As soon as the transformation was complete, which lasted all of about two seconds in real time, he brought the sword up in a ready position.

Damrius had just stepped up the game. He wasn't planning on letting this abomination of his friend leave this building, even if it killed him.

"...vi xihuuli wahven di dastudr."

Damrius would probably expected some sort of epic attack or magic assault during the short time period he was powering up. That would be a blatant waste of energy, though, wouldn't it? Besides, Moonblade had pretty much had it with Damrius and his high-level of energy intake. Shouting out as he thrust he open palm towards Damrius, the Vampiric Lich focused his magical energies outward.

"PLANAR SEAL!"

Planar Seal
The Planar Seal (which cannot be seen without magical aid) immediately locks down all planar activity in the area of effect, preventing planar access from occurring as long as the spell is in effect. Any spell that allows inter-planar travel, such as dimension door, etherealness or astral projection fizzle upon casting. Spells to call outsiders, such as gate will not function and will immediately fail if their duration has not expired when this spell is cast. Spells to contact other planes, such as contact other plane will cease operation if their duration has not expired. These effects are not dispelled, instead they are held at bay until the planar lock expires.

Close/Hold Portal
Using his arcana, Moonblade can cast a spell to either retain open or force shut any portal. These include magical teleportation, dimension doors, and connections to the outer/elemental planes. If used on a living being, as in the case of an elementalist, their powers will temporarily cease (or be unable to cease) function until they can shake off the effects of the spell. This can completely shut down elementalists when used in hand with the Planar Seal.

Though Moonblade only spoke the words to the first spell, he merely entwined the effects of both spells together. Together, these spells would effectively shut down Damrius' primary source of power; Since Moonblade 'locked' him out of the elemental plane of electricity, he couldn't draw in any more power to feed his attacks. This wouldn't necessarily destroy the new form he had taken in; he'd just no longer have any more power to feed it were he required to.

Unless the meager amount the storm provided him with counted.

Damrius snorted as his black and white eyes veiwed the seal that went around him.

It wouldn't matter, for they - Since he was now the embodiment of all the souls the Curse of the Damned had to destroy - for they had the ability to draw in their own energy, from the energy in their surrounding. And near a city known for storms, and with an electrical storm going on outside, it would be very, very easy.

Drawing in energy, Damrius stepped towards Moonblade, the room seeming to shrink as he came closer - Damrius was tall, yes, but now he was more - He was a We! (don't even THINK of making a pun....)

Damrius kept walking, but, upon his first step, moonblade would feel the ground shake. And then, on his second, he would feel the air around him begin to go stale. And, after that, he would be completely encased in black lightning bolts moving from loose electrion to loose electron in a sort of cage formation - The same kind of cage as the Thunderdome in HoH, in which he pulled the same sort of move.

Except, this was worse. Moonblade was literally the center of it's attention, and it formed into a globular cage, would lift him off into the air, and then start to course through the demonic blood, or what little he may actually if, and slowly torture his body.

Of Course, if he had little blood, it would just make his skin like... well, like beef jerky, really. Nice, stringy, fun to chew on.

But, if he decided to move, then it would be a simple matter for damrius to - Well, to absorb the loose energy.

Karasu~Lady Raven~

PostPosted: Tue Sep 11, 2007 3:40 am

the wind sent the tall grass out on the plain before the city swaying, singing a wordless song that was as old as time itself... clouds drifted across the sun painting the ground in shadows and light creating optical illusions that made portions of the sea of grass appear to suddenly stop swaying for a moment before the sun slipped out from behind the clouds again and made the rippling stalks shine in green and gold.

Karasu leaned against the hood of the camero looking out over the grass and letting her mind drift to places long since forgotten.

A presence slowly inserted itself into her calm space and Karasu closed her eyes as a scowl of aggravation crossed her features, the wind suddenly whipping around her and sending her long black hair furling out like a banner behind her. "Whoever you are, I don't care...and the answer is NO!"

Verandi slowly walked down the gravel road towards the car, still looking bright and spotless in her white suit and unruffled despite the wind. "Do you greet all old friends that way, or did I already manage to do something to annoy you?"

The blond woman stepped over to the dark guardian, her smile perfectly in place as she held her hands out to show that she meant no harm. "You are a hard one to find Lady, I must admit that it took me a few days to locate you!"

"Friends? If I ever knew you, then you would already know that I do not have friends...old or otherwise!" Kasasu assessed the blond woman and quickly came to the conclusion that whoever the hell she was, Karasu was not going to like her...

The wind died down again and Karasu noted that it had not even managed to move a single strand of the other woman's' hair out of place. "Well if you are not going to just go away, tell me what you want so I can explain to you exactly why I will not help you and then you can get out of my sight!"

The wind swirled around the car, now not touching either of the women, but pacing like a caged wolf.. ready to pounce at any moment.

'Andi's smile didn't slip even as Karasu attempted to get rid of her, the tall blond turning her face towards the sky to apparently watch the clouds for a moment, although her eyes remained closed all the time...

"Lady Raven, I mostly stopped by to tell you that you might want to stick a bit closer to a certain old bird that we both know... He is getting into something that he could not possibly fathom, and he will need you for more than your ability to read the winds of fate!" Verdandi decided that was enough for now and she stepped away from the car and Karasu, ghosting out of sight before the stalking wind had a chance to attack her.

It was time to get back to Grace, she wouldn't want to leave her friend alone too long whee

Karasu blinked icy blue eyes in confusion for a few moments before she stepped away from the car and stretched.

She didn't really have a clue about what had just happened, except to know that something funky was going on, and that Hugin was about to get himself into a heap of trouble...not that that was anything new!

the wind tugged at her long hair again as she opened the driver side door of the car and slid into the leather seat, whoever the hell the blond had been, she knew things...and she had power to beily that fragile looking exterior of hers. "Barbie better not be sending me on a wile goose chase..." Karasu muttered to herself as she started the camaro and the engine roared o life once more.

((Continuing an old fight))

The cage of energy would never have a chance to form. Even as his spell failed to cut of Damrius's power supply, Moonblade darted forward. Lashing out with his left arm, he focused a small amount of energy into the vial of blood and chucked it at his foe's chest. On impact, the vial would explode with a burst of acidic emerald flames. The blast radius would be about five feet.

He was hoping it would blind Damrius, if nothing else.

Assuming nothing prevented his advance, Moonblade would charge Damrius. Placing his left hand back on Dreadnaught, he moved to sink the weapon directly into the calf of his enemy's right leg. Seeing as Damrius was really tall now and Moonblade was relatively short, he figured his best option was to hinder his opponent's mobility.

As Moonblade's left arm lashed out, Damrius moved. He drew in more energy from the storm, not as much as that of what came form the closer bolts, but there were still some uses it.

But, as moonblade readied to throw the vial, Damrius finally saw it, and as it was flying through mid air, he launched himself up into the air, and thrust his Sword of the Damned into a support beam. Holding himself up on it with his right arm, his left hand spread out, black energy crackling around it.

DIE MOONBLADE!

As he spoke the first word, the energy formed, and as the second came, Damrius's most familiar move was launched from his hand, Zeus's Fury, and would slam down in the general area of Moonblade. It was meant to kill him, but would be easy enough to dodge, and Damrius only just noticed the vial exploding into the Emerald Flames. If Zeus's Fury didn't cause the church to come crashing down on them, then those flames would.
