Just NO. I wish it could be Cloud and Aerith, but she's dead... It could be Aerith and Zax, since they are both dead, and they used to have a relationship...
Now, Sephiroth and Aerith...
Let me think... he killed her so he could take over the world...
NO.
And for some reason, I don't think Sephiroth is truly "dead"...

If it's in Undying Pie, or Undying Pie 2, yeah, because it's part of a really funny story. So, if the story is funny and not serious, then go for it.
If it's really serious, no. Just no. I see Cloud and Aerith more of a couple, personally. No offence to AeriSeph fans. -^-^-

Hm, so far I've seen Alwebya disagree with both AeriSeph and Yuffentine, yet at least she didn't go "NO! THIS IS A STUOOPID PARING!" And for that, I'm not all that mad. As for the others...
Look, there have been other pairings similar to this if you remember correctly. In fact, both of them are in Samurai X, or for those who don't know, Rurouni Kenshin. In the first case, it is with Kenshin and.... For the love of God I cannot remember her name... I have gotta watch the movie again... Anyway, there was love on both sides of the coupling, despite Kenshin inadvertedly killing his love to take out the one he hated most. The second would have to be Shishio, and it's a bit closer to the AeriSeph coupling than the first. Shishio was an evil guy while the girl he loved, yet again cannot remember the name, was a bit nicer. She was evil, just a bit nicer than most of the other evil people because she didn't fight as much. Shishio, in the end, kills her in an attempt at trying to kill Kenshin while his Lover tried to stop them both from fighting, because if the fight lasted any longer, Shishio would burst aflame. Or was it burn out?
Eh... Now, I type this thing, over, and over, and over, getting kinda annoyed that no one ever reads it....
While Yuffentine holds the Fire and Ice chemistry, Aeris and Sephiroth hold both the Fire and Ice and the Kenshin/Kouru chemistry. You see, although Cloud and Tifa never truly become a couple in the game or movie, people still support it, along with the Cloud and Aeris coupling. With the Aeris and Sephiroth coupling, you cannot look at what has happened, but what had happened before the games start, and what could have been. Aeris had stayed with her mother in the same lab that Sephiroth had once been held in. Now, with that in mind, there is a chance that both of them had met at least a few times during the time they were held captive there. They may have met together, and may have developed something way before any of them could create their futures. Now, there are many routes you can take on this coupling, which is what I like about it. The main three I can talk about are here:
1.) Alternate Universe:
Ah, the AU... Now, this one is kind of tough, because you have to keep them in character, along with bringing them to another universe other than the FF Universe. So, let's say it goes something like this. Sephiroth used to have dreams of working in the Navy, but is now a high ranking gang member of, let's say, Shin-Ra, eh, can't come up with gang names... He never grew up with a mother, and his father had always brought him up in this business to take care of his dirty work. Sephiroth kidnaps a girl, because her father used to work with them before but had quit the gang after helping one of their captives escape. Heh, the girl is Aeris Gainsborough, a young an innocent lady who wants nothing to do with violence, only to help out her family and the world in any way she can. Seeing Sephiroth, she tries and make him a better person, and tries to get him to leave this business that he is in. They would be kept in character, and it is similar to the storylnie of FF7. You could go even this far. Sephiroth's a bully at a local College, and Aeris is the local nice girl at that College. Anything's possible as long as you keep them in character.
2.) After Death
Now, both Aeris and Sephiroth die by the end of the FF7 videogame. It is at least assumed that Aeris is brought to the Promise Land, I have never read the book or finished the game, maybe even proven she is in the Promise Land in the movie, but let's say this. Sephiroth could never be at peace, even in the LifeStream, so he was brought to the Promise Land so he could see what it was really like there. Meeting Aeris again, possibly the only one with the courage to meet up with him again, she could try and change him there, even after death. He would wonder why anyone would want to stay with him for so long, yet after a time, she would finally get at him. I have NEVER been too good at explaining AD... So, moving on to one I can do...
3.) Before Death
Similar to AU, but not exactly. Through the omnipotent power of the Author, let us say that Sephiroth had missed the initial strike on Aeris. Now, this is at the point at which the Author has most power. In one fanfic I read, Jenova had lost power of Sephiroth at that moment, and chose to use Cloud to kill Aeris because of it. Sephiroth, having a mind of his own again, protected her, yet kidnapped her and left. One that would be more common, however, is the next route. Either Aeris talks to Sephiroth and tries to get him to either stop, or makes a deal that if he takes her, that he'll leave her friends alone. When he takes her, anything from there is on the choice of the Author.
As for why they have chemistry, think about it. Sephiroth is not much of a bad guy, he is just a wounded soldier being controlled by his mother. Aeris is the kind girl that could forgive anyone for their sins. If Sephiroth were to ever need someone to be there because he wanted to repent, it would be Aeris. She, if anyone, would be the only person to accept him and let him be with her, nto because she is naive, but because she is kind and forgiving, just like Jesus. As for what they have in common, both of them are the very last of their kind, both of them had harsh childhoods, and both of them had either lost one or both of their parents or was raised by an unforgiving and abusive father. Aeris was able to grow up and become a better person because of it thanks to Elmyra, and she would possibly be the only one to bring Sephiroth back to the great and respectable person he used to be while he was a General, and not the hated and feared person he became once Jenova took control of him. And once you think about it, I forgot why it holds the Kenshin/Kouru chemistry. Kenshin was the wounded samurai of war, and wanted to repent for the sins he held, and Kouru was the girl that helped him with out with it. She gave him a home, and though he still had the evil side of him, she still lived with him and in turn, they both fell in love. The man thinking he did not deserve to love again, and the woman that taught him to live well again. Anything is possible as long as it's written well enough. With AeriSeph, only the best of Authors could make this work. A badly written CloTi is often chosen over a greatly written AeriSeph simply because they cannot accept it. If you gave it a chance, and read it with eyes unclouded by hate, you yourself may actually become an AeriSeph.
And, I am copying and saving this so I never lose it... This took me way too long...

Woah, I am surprised by both your posts. I didn't expect Harunatsu to post an AeriSeph picture, even less one that I have not found! Man, it is so rare to see AeriSeph pictures that I have never seen before...
And Sephiroth advent 7, I expected him to go all out and bash this coupling... Yet, he also likes my explanation and even says I have a good point...
Man, life's funny....

This is the dumbest question I've ever heared.
They would make a horrible couple.
Sephiroth shouldn't marry ANYONE.
Think about it before you say anything...

Tinsu4042 This is the dumbest question I've ever heared. They would make a horrible couple. Sephiroth shouldn't marry ANYONE. Think about it before you say anything... Dude.... Seeing this post, tanga ka... I have thought on this, and have for the past 2 years. 2 years ago I thought on this premise, and it is what relit the burning flame of my FF7 passion. An AeriSeph really does have to think before putting up this idea, you know why? Because it is an idea very few hold, and even fewer will accept. I have read arguement after arguement after the coupling, and in turn, have made some of my own. I spent a good hour explaining why I think the AeriSeph coupling could work, how it could work, and why I thought about it in the first place. Look, I don't mean to sound like I'm flaming you, despite you kind of flaming us, but at least read the thing I posted to see why and how the Aeriseph coupling could work. And like I said at the end, read it with eyes unclouded by hate, man. If even then, you still dislike the pairing, shoot, I can't do n othing about it. If you like it, or atleast accept it, I've done my job. Just give it a chance instead of just shooting it down, aight? Jhay-R Aspuria P.S. Will fight and die for the word of AeriSeph... Flames on me, this couple, and the two in this couple won't kill me, it'll just make me stronger...

Thank you for the support, SA7.
Now, the first one, I have a picture similar to that exept it has a more, hippy colour scheme. I mean, it's very pink and swirly... The second one, I'd love to know the artist, but I've gotten that one from a previous thread in this guild. I can't find the thread, but I know I have that in my gallery. Still, thanks though. And try to avoid page stretching by not posting pictures above 550 width. If you are, just give the link, aight Buddy?
