Saberstryke sighs. He can't have expected much else from this Lost Clan person. "I will explain.
"Both of these people are called Batrias Kenketsu. The older man came here from the year 2035 A.D.- five thousand years from now- to escape the destruction of the world. I was one of those who tried to stop him. The younger boy is also Batrias. I am going to stop the older man from passing the boy the Armor of Holy. You do not know of armors, but I can assure you, whoever you are, I cannot allow this to pass. If I do, the world will end on that year, caused by imperfections in the armors. It all begins here, with the passage of this armor from a man to the younger version of himself. You are correct, two people cannot be in the same place. But they are. This event creates a contradiction in reality, which is solved by causing flaws in the armors. You may chose to believe me or to attack, only I suggest you make up your mind. I cannot allow you to interfere."

To attack, or not to attack, that is the question plauging Hariel at the moment. He puts his hand on his katana, but does not draw it.

I will fight you if you wish, only, these two," Saberstryke spares a look at the warrior and the boy, "Are of far greater importance than you realize, as I have said.
"Make your choice."

"Defend them, if you will!" Saberstryke shouts. "For I surely take them both to the afterlife to spare the destruction of the world, you of short sight."
Saberstryke charges the Lost Clan person, his swords raised in the air...

In a quick move, almost as fast as the Wildcats who raised him, Hariel draws both his katanas, crossing them in the air to catch the charge. His face becomes a mask.
"Save the world?" he says, "so you would save it then by destroying it now?"

"I do not understand how the world will end if two lives are snuffed away. Warriors and children die all the time, more in this time than the one where I come from." Saberstryke puts pressure on his swords, against Hariel's swords. He cannot sense an armor around, but he feels something. Then, the air crackles.
He notices that Hariel has the same swords he does, even though only one set of the Soul Swords of Fervor has ever existed.

Hariel holds up his swords, and suddenly sees for himself Saberstryke's swords. But how did this Wolfrider have the swords of the warriors of the Lost Clan. Only Hariel had them, since he was the last of their kind. The air crackles with energy as Hariel pushes back, and the energy finally explodes.

As Saberstryke is thrown backwards by the force of the energy, he sees a shield of white light surrounded the boy and the warrior. It is just as he suspected. If he does not act soon, the warrior will revive, and then, with his intentions still bent on destroying those who even look at him the wrong way, who can say how much havoc he will wreak? Wrath, Saberstryke decides, is more trouble than it's worth.
He struggles to his feet, looking for Lost Clan person who, for whatever reason, has still not introduced himself, even though they are fighting. Then, Saberstryke's flashing blues eys catch him.

Hariel had been thrown right off his feet and straight into a tree. He gets to his feet, muttering (ow....ow...my back....ow....) and looking at Saberstryke. His face mask was gone for a moment, as he thinks of the pain, then glances at the tree, which has taken more damage than he has. He turns back to Saberstryke.
"What are you doing with the Soul Sword?" Hariel demands, "why does a Wolfrider carry a symbol for the warriors of the Lost Clan?"

"This sword was once in the possession of a warrior, who I shall not name. I shall only say that he placed the swords back where I had found them, in a hidden shrine, known only to those with knowledge of the armors. I have taken them again, but only for this mission. I did not expect to encounter one such as you who held the weapons that were mine for many centuries."
Saberstryke thinks about raising his sword once again, and he knows it won't do any good. He'll just make another explosion. He sheathes his swords. Honor would ordinarily demand that they fight hand to hand, except Saberstryke has a feeling...he can't put his finger on it. He thinks of Ryo.
"Did you see the light protecting them? Can you tell me where it came from?"

"Simple, any armor will do that," Hariel says, "Kaylyn of Black Flame, any of the nine Wildcat armors do that."

Saberstryke almost growls in frustration. He wants to be able to make this Lost Clan person see the truth of his words, but the person is just so stubborn! Stubborn...Saberstryke puts the thought of his mind before it has a chance to grow. "Then, do you recognize this armor? Can you tell me where it is from? Can you say that I am being dishonest with you?"

Hariel goes to say something, closes his mouth, and finally speaks.
"Can't say I have," he says, "I don't have an armor myself, I just hang with Lady Kaylyn Hyrosha a little too much."

"I know not who this Lady Kaylyn is, and I care not," Saberstryke declares, his attention focused on the boy. "You of Kenketsu, move away from the man there. There is something of his I want."
The boy, who had been silent throughout the entire conversation, spoke up. "Yes, sir." He moved away from unconscious form in white armor.
Saberstryke noticed, a bit away, a boat tethered to the shore of a lake. A heavy white sword lay in the boat.
