The lioness sighed as Tanaka brushed against her, lightly rolling her bright eyes. "Enough talking, all of you. I'm tired of this dark, barren place. I'm ready for green grass again, and water... So if you're all done deciding who's coming and going, shall we continue on?" Maybe it was the aura Tanaka gave off, maybe it was the darkness, or maybe it was the annoyances they'd suddenly picked up, but it had Kiuma feeling cranky and on edge. The sooner they were gone, the better...
She rose in a fluid motion, turning with a flick of her tail, and began to trott out of the clearing amid the bones. "Come on, Tanaka!" She called back over one muscled shoulder, the beads of her necklace clicking dryly as she moved.

Amleth bumped Duhushi almost playfully as the god and his companion began to move out of the area. She padded after them on quiet paws, crimson eyes shining with what almost seemed to be anticipation. Going somewhere, that could be fun, right? Like an adventure! Tail swinging behind her small body as she picked up the pace, Amleth smiled back at her friend. Everything would be okay as long as she was with him!

The white lion paused in his steps, one brow cocked as his green eye focused on the red lioness. Her mood had suddenly declined and he briefly wondered what had caused it before dismissing it as the result of their encounters and hastening his steps to walk at her side, his shoulder lightly brushing against hers.
His aura had completely faded, returning to the depths within as he made his way through the graveyard toward the edge and the sunlight beyond. The air was different, lighter, and it warmed his fur, tinting his mane with a golden glow.
Never once did he bother to look back, never checked on the cubs, never adjusted his pace to theirs. He didn't need to, he knew they were there, he could hear and sense them, though he gave no acknowledgement that he cared. Still, there was something about him, something uspoken that told the cubs straying would not be tolerated.
Reaching the grassland, Tanaka breathed in the fresh air, leaving the scent of death and destruction behind. Out here life awaited them, and it was time to set out on their journey once again.
