"There's nowhere else on earth, I'd rather be..." Startled out of her song from his nipping, she nipped right back at him, smirking. "I don't know how it would work out." She paused. "But thanks, I feel really special," she added, sarcastic.
"Now, listen to this song, won't you? I heard it from my father." She smiled, and continued the song. "Here I am, it's just me and you. Tonight we make our dreams...
...come true..." She whispered the last part, thinking about the next line. She stopped. It wasn't a good idea to continue that song.

Aruna rolled her eyes, though it was in good humor. "The next part of that song isn't a good idea to sing, I believe." She smiled, and chose to sing a different one. "How about this one then? It sounds like you." She grinned, eyes twinkling strangely, and began, but not before she added a side comment, "Why thank you. I didn't think you liked me singing.
"Well, you think that you can me on, you must be crazy," She sang, grinning wickedly. "There ain't a single thing you've done, is gonna faze me. Oh, but if you wanna have a go, I just wanna let you know...
...Yeah, get offa my back,
And into my game,
Get outta my way,
And outta my brain,
Get outta my face,
Or give it your best shot,
I think it's time you better face the fact,
Get offa my back." She stopped because at that point, she had started to laugh. The song reminded her so much of Rahu it took her a bit to gain her breath back.

She finally fell to a soft chuckle. "Quit teasing me, you silly horse. I just recently picked it up." She couldn't remember when or why, but it was comforting, and something to do. She knew her father enjoyed it, so it was fine with her, as far as she was concerned. "I'm not mocking you, I just find it amusing that I know a song that describes you so well."

"Ha!" she said, smiling. Flicking her tail, she trotted around in a slight circle. "This is mocking! I saw this one mare one time, and she was really arrogant looking. She walked around as if she owned everything." Aruna proceeded to trot around with her head held high, as if she was saying she was better than everyone. Soon, however, she stopped, chuckling. "I can't stand that stuff, so I left."

"That's a very good question. It also relates to a bunch of other males I hang around with, too," Aruna said, rolling her eyes humorously. "It's mostly the mares, not the stallions. I get the stallions." She smirked. "You guys are always bragging about your superior strength, so it makes sense, doesn't it? And it's true, too." She tossed her mane, fighting the urge to laugh again. "After all, you males do have that brute strength us weak females don't." She had emphasized "weak" mostly to see what Rahu would say to that, because she also been referring to herself in that respect.

"Oh, really? Is that your opinion?" She chuckled. "And I thought you hated all mares because we were "weak". So you think the same for stallions? That's interesting." She figured he was being gender-racist because of all the talk she had with him when they had talked about weak Soquilis. "And who are those few you say aren't weak?" Aruna asked, curious.

Aruna glared at him, though it was obvious she wasn't really meaning it. "Names, Rahu! I asked you who! I didn't ask you to describe!" She laughed (quietly, of course) and sighed exasperatedly. "You'll always be troublesome with me, won't you?" She rolled her eyes. "Don't answer that. I know the answer." She closed her eyes in thought as she tried to think of names.
"From a few rumors (ones I hope are true), that mare who leads a herd of only mares. Is she the strong one?" Aruna asked, and waited for his affirmative. "Maybe not," she added as an afterthought. He had said one mare he didn't hate. That was very vague. Damn you, Rahu, she thought with a dry chuckle. "Calamity is one of those stallions, isn't he? Um... my brother, Bairn..." She couldn't think of anymore. Who else?
