Affir looks down stream to see if he can yet spot their destination. While the lighthouse is still quite far off and out of sight he does spot the town where they are headed a few hundred feet away. He judges they should make it there quite soon, and vary possibly ahead of shcedule, at the speed the boat is going.

"hey, I can see the town but the lighthouse seems to still be out of sight." *he then turns his head towards the gamblers* "at this speed we'll get there ahead of scedule"

Tourin awoke and went though the process of re-donning his armor, he observed his comrades congrated around apparnetly dice. He observed with a bit of a grin, but had to decline, citing: "M'father made all his kids promise not to gamble, ever since the time he lost big and had to pull the nighbor's plow...in our mother's dress." Wow, was he upset over that, but at least he kept his word in a way: He won't gamble with his wealth but he risks his life freuqntly as an adventurer.

"amusing tales like that are good, they help keep the fear of death away." *he said almost as if he was trying to kill the mood*

"I cannot wait to be back in Lathos, even if I am there to fight Lizardmen." Mira says, rolling the dice again.
"Well, looks like I busted..." she says, looking at the high rolls.

*Tajara thinks to himself* Woulf! being on this ship is worse than being trapped in shifting sands there is no stable grounds being rocked back and forth like this its unnerving and slightly sickening! I wish I was back home, its too wet here.

"I wonder if we will make any trips back to my home for the guild. That would be nice, I can show you desert hospitality we are well known for it I suppose. Unfortunatly any errand we are sent on to my home is more than likely to mean that there is trouble and i wish no ill on my fathers. Ah 10 well I shall roll again."

well 18 is not a good total at the moment with you at 19 you beat me by one but the game is not quite over! I would like to ask a question of you. If I roll again and ... "bust" what are the side affects aside from losing?

"There would be no effects aside from losing so well in a sense you have nothing to lose." As Enki speaks he also looks out towards the gates of Lithos. In the distance there seems to be some kind of disturbance.

Tourin notices the sight on the approaching land out of the corner of his eye. "Huh.. what's this then?" murmured to himself as he leaned against the raliing at the side of the vessel to get a better look at wha'ts happening at Lithos' gates.

Both Tourin and Affir perr out toward the city gates, At first ythey can't tell much exept that there was what looked to be a cart pile up at the city gates when suddenly a single rider on horse back shoots throguh the crowd and out towards the hills to the north.
