By this time, considering Mirah was not here to see him, the alpha had took to panting, slowly lowering himself down to his belly so he could ease the brutal ache in his bleeding back and cringing side. It hurt like heck and there was nothing he could do about; but he would never allow anyone to see this side of him. A pained side. A side of him that just wanted to nuzzle next to his mate and feel safe. But movement and voice caught his attention, lifting his head a bit to quickly he spotted the adult wolf. Almost uncertain in this state of his he took to sniffing in the general area to make sure this was in fact one of his pack mates. Grunting under his breath the alpha still would not allow anyone to see this, and bit back the urge to whimper or yelp. "I've been better", his tone held a bit of a light heartedness despite his situation, but he made no move to get up.

At the voice, Namir nodded, though he seemed unconvinced. Still, he had no will to make an alpha feel as if he were inferior. Instead, the timid wolf took to sniffing around the area, his nose twitching lightly at the unfamiliar scent he'd picked up. It had been a fight, he supposed. Just barely lifting his nose from the ground, his eyes sought the other's form before drifting warily around their surroundings. "Are you... alone?" He questioned, knowing full well he couldn't stand up to any lone wolves that might happen to still be around. Not only that, but he wondered if someone had gone for help.

The dark orange wolf watched carefully with darkened eyes, flicking his ears from side to side to listen to the forest around them. He hadn't personally conversed with this wolf before so he couldn't quite tell if it was one of the males he had to keep an eye on; but met the gaze either way. "As far as I know. There may be a wounded loner around still; and Mirah went to get help", he spoke once more, keeping the tone of voice of he always used. But he knew when he got back and the pack was gathered, for the most part at least, he would have to warn them about this new threat and to take no guff within their territory. Eyeing this male once more he decided to keep the conversation going to pass the time and keep him distracted. "Don't think if we've met personally or just briefly. What's your name?" Intyran was curious about this wolf now, for he prided himself on learning every detail available from his pack members. Shifting slightly, the alpha made a move to get up, gathering his paws under him and with a grunt pushed against the ground. Standing a bit ruggedly he waited for his answer.

Phoenix howled, concern striking a small note in the howl. Where are you?

Despite the fact that the loner was said to be injured, Namir still felt wary. He prayed silently that no other wolves came looking for a fight. Oh, how much he would hate himself if he couldn't protect the alpha male. Lifting his muzzle and straightening his form, the male returned his gaze to the other when questioned. "No... We've never met personally..." Rolling his shoulders, he continued. "I'm... Namir." And as soon as he'd finished, a howl met his ears. Looking off to its origin, the adult's ears perked.

Intyran listened carefully to what was being said, taking in tone and bodily movements. But the alpha didn't move to much, for even the slightest flick of a tail irratated his back. "Namir", he spoke to say it for himself and hopefully remember it later. Hearing that howl as well the alpha knew immedatly who it was, the pitch and the echo, he did not hesitate to gently thrust his muzzle at the air and let his own answer it. The breath leaving his lungs though made his side ache once more and he had to stop in mid note, tucking his chin in to save his back from a harsh pain. "That was Phoenix, the alphaess", he said bluntly, if not to tell Namir then to reassure himself.

Intyran wasn't quite sure where he was in the first place, just knew he was close to the packgrounds. Unfortunatly he was begining to feel light headed, that orange coat of his was matted and bloddied, and he took a glance around once more. Though he kept himself from grunting or withering consider the adult male was still here, but he did open his maw to howl once more. It wasn't as loud and he didn't thrust his head up, but he tried his best to keep the note.

Phoenix paced the borderlines before finding their combined scents and following it. Upon arriving, she gently nudged his muzzl with hers, trying not to let a whimper out.

There, he could smell her now. Letting the note drop finally his sides thanked him with a heavy pang. Flicking his ears to the side he watched Phoenix come up to him and nuzzle him, and he let himself lick her once. "I'm alright", he said before she could ask him anything, forgetting about the doe he and Mirah had killed and defended earlier.

She frowned seeing his wound. "You sound alright but you don't look it.." She didn't want to know what happened until he was cared for.

Flicking his ears slightly he didn't want to worry her, and flicked his tail slightly to show it wasn't as bad as it looked; even if that itself was a lie. "I wouldn't know. But... I guess it is time to head back to the pack grounds", he sighed, that meant walking.

"Well, Intyran and I git ambushed by a Loner." Nirah said panting. "But theres no time, I'll tell you along the way. We've got to get to Intyran!" The teen turned and ran towards where she had left Intyran with the deer. Side-by-side with Phoenix, she explianed to her what had happened with the Loner, and how Intyran had protected her and the deer, but had been severely injured in the proccess. "I barely got a scratch. If Intyran hadn't been there, how knows what would have happened. Soon the two had come across to the place where Intyran lay injured, although now, another wolf was with him...
Mirah sped up when she saw the other. He smelled of Lowlands Pack, so she restrained herself from attacking. "You're that Namir fellow aren't you?" Mirah asked. She had seen him a few times wandering within the pack, but the two had never spoken. Either way, that was the least of their worries at the moment...
