Sometimes people down you and want to /make you/ think it's a bad thing. It's not. Being proud of your sexuality is being proud of /who you are./ Self-pride is one of the best things there is.

A guy at my school found out i was bi and went and told EVERYONE. Now i'm wondering if it's wrong to like someone of the same sex, and why they think it is.
That guy is fuc*ed up in the head! He shouldn't be doing that. Just to let him know, that is a form of discrimination. Doesn't the constituiton (spelling) state that we're free to do as we choose as long as we follow the law?! GOD!! You didn't break a law by liking the same sex! He's messed up...

Oh sorry, I was in a ranting mood ^_^ sweatdrop

Their reason for not liking anything besides heterosexuality could simply be because they were raised with the idea that homo/bisexuality is an archtaboo. domokun I was raised that way, but eh, I don't believe it. rolleyes

In a way, I'm a little ashamed of my sexuality.

Not because I think it's wrong, but because of what it did to me. Before I discovered my bisexuality, I was happy. Now, I'm depressed, anti-social, and generally ********. So, I'm ashamed of being bisexual in a way. I know it sounds terrible, but I wish I could go back to the way I was before discovering this.

It's okay to be proud, but don't scream and get in people's faces. Flaunting it is a way to get yourself hurt seriously. Especially if you live in Indiana, we don't have Hate Crime Laws... stare

My parents....family and friends all know I am gay. They are all ok with it.
My mom said she knew I was since I was a little. I am proud of being gay.

It okay to be proud. We aren't alone at all, no matter how far away from eachother we are, and it may seem hard, but we tend to be the people who aren't hung up on hiding parts of ourselves to please others. We see people for who they are, and when we find good hearted people, we become friends with them, and the friendship lasts because we don't require them to be something that they are not, and they are the same. So be strong, and remember that you have us, even if it is online, you still have support.

I was actually shocked that 3% voted "yes" that it is wrong...

It's kind of sad that people should feel pressured to keep their true thoughts and feeling hidden. I did that for many years, and I was never happier when I finally came out.

So I have to say a big NO, and that it's great to be proud of what you are and who you like and how you feel!! whee
