"Father had asked me to go scavenging for some fresh fruit," she stated matter-of-factly. "Why does this affect you?" Cassandra longed to fetch her leather slippers.

Skai looked suprised. "Oh. Well, I was just wondering actually. " She started to turn. "I should be going back now. My friend is waiting for me. If you want to come, you may do so." Skai turned and walked towards the trees.

Cassandra hesitated, but made up her mind quickly. "Sukaida!" she yelled. "Wait for me!" She ran after the mysterious girl, neglecting to protect her tender feet.

Skai turned, laughing slightly to herself. "Please, call me Skai." She grinned at the girl and reached into her traveling bag. She pulled out a pair of brown leather boots and a nice fresh outfit. Guinivere looked to be about a couple sizes smaller than herself. "A good thing I kept my old clothes, from last year." She laughed again, handing them over to Guinivere. "Try these on, and if you're going to do some traveling, I also suggest you tell your family, or at least write a note."

"T-traveling?" Cassandra said stupidly, numbly accepting the shoes and dressings. "Oh. OH. You're...you're one of the spies I saw in the forest. Oh. Yes. Well, I suspect Father won't miss me. But leave a note I will." She slipped on the boots and pulled the clothing over her own raggedy green dress.

"Spy for the High King. Yes." Skai said to Guinivere, as she watched her put on the clothes. "I hope those will fit okay." She said frowning slightly. Then she shook it off and sat down on an over-turned tree trunk.

Sanura was walking through a forest. She hadn't seen a human life since she left that town - whatever its name was. She leaned up against a tree by some of those delicious pink berries. "mmmm," she sighed. It had been a long time since she'd had these. Since before the fire.
'I must be close to the border,' she thought. But she had no idea where she was.

Iona finally skidded to a halt amonst the circle of silver birch trees and shooed the large beaver away from one of the trees. "You can't eat them! Honestly, can't you guys defend yourselves for once?" The trees swayed and Iona narrowed her eyes at them and crossed her arms over her chest. "That's not fair, ya know! You could have just called for me instead of letting yourselves be harmed. What is it that you need from me this time?" She sat amongst the circle of trees and listened to what they had to say. When they were done, Iona rose to her feet. "Yeah, I understand. I'll keep an eye out. Yeah, I'll go back the way I came." Iona said her goodbyes to her elders and walked back to where she had last been.

Sanura relaxed against the tree a little more, and pulled a tome out of her bag. She turned page after page until she found the one she wanted.
Flicked her wand in that overly complex patter, mttered a few words, and voila! Fire for the night.
How she wished she could find her brother soon. But she hadn't heard of him since Bluewater. And that was over three towns ago. Hopefully she'd run into that town they said soon.

[<3]Shi walks dejectedly down a dirt path through a bear-treed forest, wondering where he should go. He decides to find a decent sitck, and carve it into a fishing spear. He strays off the path, looking for a good branch. He finds a dead piece of wood, good and strong, and pulls out his favourite knife. It had a mahogany coloured wooden with a spiraled design vertically (like the approximately sign). He starts carving away as he slowly gets tired and drifts to sleep.

Sanura puts out her fire and wonders across the small clearing that she's just noticed. There's a rock cliff with a cave that looks good for sleeping, and so she curls up and goes to sleep.

Kaide grinned. "Good! I'm so glad. Now, I wonder where Skai went." She looked around before sighing. "Why does she always do this?" She looked for the foot prints, seeing them heading towards the Eastern edge of the forest, which wasn't far.
"Shall we go? Or would you like to gather supplies right now?" Kaide asked Soki, turning around and looking at him. She closed her eyes for a moment, seeking Skai's spirit. She was sitting on a tree trunk only about half a mile away.

Kaide laughed slightly. "Okay then." She smiled and took a step back, before turning around and heading back towards the clearing ahead. "There some fruit trees back there beyond the clearing. I'll take some and dry it later." She yelled behind her as she went.
