1. The hills have eyes : Why? Because for some reason its the first horror movie that I have seen in a wile that put that knotted feeling in my stomach. It achieved what horror movies are supposed to achieve. 2. Both Amityville Horror's 3. Back quite a few years ago, the Shinning was a pretty scary movie, not by todays standards but back then it was. 4. One of the halloweens : Not sure which one, but its where those two people get boiled in a hot-tub, scared me enough when I was a kid I wouldnt go near a hot-tub or even a pool. Once again it achieved what horror movies are supposed to. 5. Ill toss the Ring in here : The VHS sequences, and what was in them were a good stomach churning event.
and there would be my top 5 with many others not included that I just like to watch.

Hmm. This is tough.
5. A Nightmare On Elm Street - My favorite slasher, since Johnny Depp meets his very timely death in the first movie of the series.
4. The Exorcist - The original one had amazing special effects for the time it was made. I watched a "making of" video about the movie, and how they did things without computers was just awesome, really.
3. Dawn of the Dead - The original. The first zombie movie I saw, and it was fantastic. I enjoyed it very much.
2. Final Destination - The first one was absolutely amazing. The second sucked and the third wasn't so great, but the first was just... fantastic. I love the concept of Death having a design, and fate and such.
1. 28 Days Later - I adore this movie verrry much. It has a great plot, and I loved its take on the zombie-like rage virus. Plus... Cillian Murphy naked. Mmm.
That list will probably change a lot, over time. Ah well.

Man...I have waaaaay too many favorite movies but here's 5 really, really good ones:
1. Dead Alive 2. Rosemary's Baby 3. Terror Firmer 4. I Spit On Your Grave 5. Nekromantik
That was suprisingly hard. I never noticed before but most of the movies I watch nowdays aren't really considered horror, they're just ******** gross. Ha. Sweet.

5. The Shining 4. Halloween 3. The Exorcist
#1 tie - Jaws and Alien I've watched these 2 movies countless times. I've switch them back and forth between #'s 1 and 2 many times, but in the end, I just can't bear putting the #2 next to either of them. So, I have to say just give them both a tie for first place.

5. Secret Window Nobody does it like Stephen King. 4. The Skeleton Key Love the Louisianna setting and that the bad guys win. 3. The House on Haunted Hill (original) Had to have Vincent Price in here somewhere. 2. Jeepers Creepers Only reason it's so high up here is because it was the first movie to give me nightmares in ten years, when it came out. 1. Parasite Eve Just because I love it so much.

5. What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
This movie was pretty freaky. It's an old black and white flick about two sisters that were movie stars when they were younger. One of them made it big and the other was a terrible actress and didn't do so well. Now, years later, the two sisters are living together and the one that couldn't act goes crazy and holds her wheelchair-ridden sister hostage.
4. A Nigthmare on Elm Street
Classic movie. I was about eight years old when I first saw this movie and I remember how it freaked the crap out of me! Freddy Krueger is one of the coolest horror movie killers of this millenium. The sequels weren't as good, some of them verging on crappy. The only sequel that even came close to the awesomeness of the originalo was the third movie with the kids in the mental hospital.
3. Dawn of the Dead
Awesome zombie flick. I agree that one of the best places to be when a zombie attack happens is at the mall because of all the food and weapons they have there. The scene with the zombie baby is probably one of my favorite scenes from a movie ever. That thing was so freaking cool! Instead of shooting it, they should have raised it as their own and used it against the other zombies.
2. Funny Games
Absolutely one of the best movies I've seen in a long time! This movie was really great because it didn't rely on gore to dish out the scares. There was hardly any blood at all. It was more of a physological thing. Even though there's practically no music it was still really creepy and suspensful. Those guys were so cool! If they weren't psychopaths, I'd totally be their friend!
1. The Strangers
This movie scared the hell out of me!! I don't see why the critics gave it such a hard time. I thought it was really good. One reason it was so scary was because it is something that can and does happen every day. I have never jumped that many times while watching a movie. I hope they make a sequel or maybe even a prequel, just to kind of explain the strangers a little more. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone.
