Impulsive Priestess Prodigious_girl Impulsive Priestess Devils_Pet Moneneko ^-^ It's true, and Kazuya Minekura herself has done some Saiyuki Doushiniji, and It is Yaoi. (It makes me very happy ^-^) I've only read one of them though, and it was really good! ^-^ LE GASP LE GASP!!! I think i've seen one too..but I'm not sure...is it the one with Goku and Sanzo? Sanzo on bottem? I have only see like two pics and Sanzo had GOku pinned to the bed and is kissing him. Its so sexy 4laugh Nooooooo! I must save him!! ;_; save who? Goku... but..thats imposible...because...Sanzo has him!!! AND THEY'RE KISSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a problem with yaoi, in fact I happen to like a few yaoi titles, but I am undecided about yaoi fan-made pairings in a non-yaoi series. So I suppose that would include Saiyuki (unless doujinshis would count)? It kind of puts me off when enjoying a fanfic of a non-yaoi anime and some of my favorite characters are put into a yaoi .... um.... situation. sweatdrop It just seems odd because I'm not used to thinking of those characters in that way.
However...
With something like Saiyuki it is a bit different. Because eventhough it isn't a yaoi series it's filled with bishies and "hints" of yaoi possibilities. They're just so obvious at times, even for a fan who doesn't fancy yaoi. whee
So I don't know what to think... with Saiyuki in particular I can open my mind to accept certain yaoi pairings over others. But I don't fancy all Saiyuki yaoi.
*sniffs* I hope this isn't hypocracy. gonk

I, myself, adore shounen-ai. I don't, however, like yaoi. I can handle the kissing, hugging and hinting at something deeper, but not the full on, actually showing me, how guys make it........^.^; I'd rather be in the dark on that fact.
Concerning shounen-ai in manga's, where it belongs, I like it. But, most doujins with shounen-ai or yaoi I just really can't find a ground for because the pairings are false and may confuse newcomers to a series. But.....I have bought a few doujins with pairings for Gojyo X Sanzo and Hakkai X Gojyo and Goku X Sanzo. If anything, I like the Gojyo X Sanzo. So pretty.........but not the point. ^.^; And besides, sadly, that pairing would probably never happen. Because Gojyo and Sanzo probably hate each other more that any other companion of the Sanzo-Ikkou. ^.^ Point proven in how they act towards one another in volume seven of the original Gensomaden Saiyuki.
