Nienna giggles alittle when he squeezes her hand, glancing up she smiles "You know I have never left my forest home? This shall be a first for me. I've always stayed within the forest." looking around she watches as they draw closer to the end of the forest. Her heart was beating alittle fast. From fear, but more of it was from excitment.
Looking back towards Cabel she tilts her head to the side "So what do I have in store? I mean should I be scared of what is on the outside?" she was jesting, she had a feeling she had nothing to worry about.

Cabel hid any sign of surprise, only chuckling softly. "You really have never left the forest, have you?" He held her close to him with a smile. "You have nothing to fear from the world outside, my dear. It truly is a wonderful place to live and to explore. But if there is ever any threat, you'll not have to worry." He paused, lifting her hand to his lips and kissing it tenderly. "I promise to protect you."
The poor Fae wasn't much older than the female at his side, and he had no idea where all these things he was saying were coming from, but somehow...it all just felt...so natural. So, he went with it, trusting that the Guardians knew what they were doing.

Nienna blush alittle then nods "Alright, I trust you Master Cabel. And no I haven't left my forest home, I never really had a reason to until now." pausing she stop when they came to the opening that led out of the forest. Looking up at Cabel she licked her bottom lip "Okay so which way to this beach I've heard so much about?"

"Follow me, milady..." Making a sweeping gesture with his staff, he took her hand and lead her forward, suddenly pausing at the edge of the forest. Cabel smirked, smoothly plucking a fallen bloom from the ground near Nienna's feet and tucking it behind her ear. "A beautiful flower for a beautiful lady," he said softly, smiling. "Though its beauty cannot compare with yours..."
There was something magical about today, and as happy as Cabel was, deep in the back of his mind hid the fear that something might disturb this paradise. He paid no mind to this feeling for now, but it was there. Nothing was ever this perfect for long, was it? Was that possible?

Nienna blushes again then wrinkles her nose up "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, or so they say." running her fingers lightly over the soft petals she follows Cabel humming to herself. She wasn't scared anymore now that she had left the forest. She knew she was safe with Cabel.

"Perhaps so...but I at least can say that I am quite enjoying what I am 'beholding,' " Cabel replied cheekily, laughing at himself. Maybe he was acting quite the fool...but he couldn't help it, and Nienna didn't seem to mind. He'd never felt this happy or carefree before, and he planned to make the most of it.
He paused momentarily, taking stock of their surroundings and noting where they had emerged from the forest before pointing slightly off to the right. "It's just over that hill; not far at all." Smiling, he reached for Nienna's hand, eager to lead her to the beach and introduce her to only one of the many beautiful locations on the isle.

Nienna couldn't help but smile, she like that she could be carefree with Cabel. Nodding she follows him towards this beach he was so eager to show her. Her eyes looked around the island taking in everything.
Even away from her home she still felt at home, it was strange but she felt one with the island and everything on it. Looking at Cabel she smiles "Do I get to dunk you in the water?"

Momentarily distracted by the scenery...and the beautiful Fae beside him...Cabel didn't quite register what she had said at first. Then, it started to sink in belatedly.
"Wait...what?" He looked at her strangely for a second, recognition dawning in his eyes as he started to smirk. "Hmm...depends. I get to dunk you first, right?" He swiftly wrapped his arms around her waist, lifting her up off the ground and laughing. He glanced over at the water, then up at her devilishly.

Yelping from the surprise of getting picked up she kicked alittle as she pushed at Cabel's chest "NO fair!!!" she was laughing as she wraps her arms around his neck "Fine but I'm taking you with me then.." her smile was just as devilish.
Leaning forward she brushed her lips over his then pulled back. She was hoping she would get free so she could tackle him into the water.

Cabel blinked in surprise, his hold loosening on her for a moment and almost dropping her. He shook his head, grinning. "Hmm...fair enough." His eyes held a mischievious glint as he held her close, stepping into the surf. The water washed up over his feet, then his legs, as he moved in deeper.
When he was at about knee-deep, he stopped, looking up again. "Together." He winked, holding her close as he simply sat down, laughing all the while.

Nienna squeels as the cold water hit her body. It was enough to have her hold onto Cabel rather tightly. Feeling the water splash her back she shiver then laugh as she lifted her hands tosses some wateer at Cabel.
Her hair was halfway soak so she simply pulled it out of its braid then dunked her head intot he water the rest of the way. Sitting back up she shook her head alittle then poked at Cabel's chest "That one way to get use to cold water I suppose" she was smiling as she splash him a few more times. She like sitting in his lap as well as being this close. She was having fun and nothing could change that.

Cabel laughed loudly, trying to shield his eyes with his arm. He'd been all too happy earlier to hug Nienna tightly when they plunged into the chilling water, of course. Any excuse, eh?
"Hey! It's always worked for me! Plus, much faster than taking it step-by-step," he joked. "We could always huddle together for warmth, ya' know," he winked conspiratorily.
The Fae couldn't think of a time when he'd ever felt this happy...or quite so much like he finally...belonged. He leaned back on one arm, reaching up to stroke Nienna's cheek, brushing aside a lock of wet hair. "You're pretty," he said simply, grinning like an idiot.

Nienna smile closing her eyes for a moment as she felt his fingers brush against her cheek. Opening them slowly she smiles then leans forward placing her hands ontop of his "You know if you keep calling me pretty, I might just have to believe you." her wings fluttered alittle as she giggles.
She was having fun, something she didn't have to often. Being she stayed mostly in her forest, so to meet someone like Cabel who made her feel whole, then come out of hiding. It made her feel good.

Cabel had spent so long feeling like an outsider, like there was something strange and wrong about him, that to feel so calm and accepted like this? It was a weird...and yet wonderful feeling. He liked it.
"You should believe me," he grinned. "Why would I lie about something like that? In fact, you're more than just pretty. You're gorgeous." Beaming, he ran his fingers gently through her wet hair, enjoying their closeness and how comfortable they both were.

Nienna giggle then leanign forward she brushed her lips against his for a moment before pulling back just alittle "Then your very handsome." her eye twinkle as she looked at him. She was serious, he had to the best looking pae she ever seen.
Sitting back she place her hands on top of her knees just looking around. She was so curious about this place. It was like a child getting to being outside for the first time. She was taking in everything around her.
