aznprince1989 I am truly a navy/marine corps boy since my JROTC unit is based on both services.. Right now I have fought a battle between choosing which service to join. It was between the army and the marinecorps and in the end marinecorps won. This is why I will and always will be a fan of the marinecorps smile . Although I am kinda still confused bout which service suits me best, but I am applying for the DEP for marinecorps right now since I currently go to poolie functions as a guest. Thats all i gotta say smile beautiful choice. can i get on OORAH!!!

Shogun Ichikaru Semper Fi brothers and sisters! I'm a 1LT now in the reserves. Before that I was a Scout/Sniper with a Recon unit. Proud to see so many people here who have heard the call of the Corps. I salute each and every one of you, whether you're in, want to go in, supporting someone who is in, or just support the military. We are a fraternity of warriors, the cutting edge of American influence, and I'm damn proud to be counted among you. Keep up your support, your spirits, and your pride. And always remember our brothers and sisters overseas, fighting for our rights, our way of life, and our Corps. OOORAH! Can i get an OORAH!!!

heh...I jsut got called by the prior service recruiter today.
I got out Nov17, 07. I was in an NJROTC unit run by a Marine Colonel (it wasn't very Navy all in all, lemme tell ya) decided to join teh Corps, and spent five great years in. But I have a family now and want stability for them, so I'm out for a time. Maybe I'll answer the call again, maybe I'll watch after the flock from within the 1stCivDiv; dunno yet. But anyone wanting to ask a question, just shoot me a line here on Gaia. I'll give you my best answer, or I didn't earn my EGA on that grinder. biggrin Semper Fidelis!

All my life I've looked up to my dad, a Marine First Sgt. He's been waiting, I think, for me to tell him that I'm going to join the service like him. I am, not only because I want to serve my country and am a total Marine Corps fan, but because it'd be awesome to outrank my dad... biggrin

USMC)Jimi im hoping to join next year. i want to make sure im prepared for watever they ask of me. its the written tests i am going to be worried about tho. Heh, you take 1 written test in bootcamp, and you take the thing about 3 times a day for three weeks before you do it for real. My entire platoon got 100% with the exception of 1, and he got a 99%.

Just got out...I did my 4, did some time in the sand and got the scars to prove it.
I think its awesome, people only ride my bumper untill they notice the purple heart license plate....then they ease off and just let me cruise along.
