Actually, once I think I corrected Fox for something...
But against me, you're always right, in Phantom-related things, though. Ask me about band and I could tell you everything there is. Not like you would though, seeing as how this is a PHANTOM guild...

Of the characters in PotO, I think that the one that is the most fun to rp is Carlota because there isn't really all that much known about her other than that she's a talented soprano that Erik dislikes; at least, from my pov...
However, the hardest for me to rp is definitely the Persian. >< There is too much known about him for you to make up what you want to make up, but there isn't enough known about him in order to get a real feel for his personality.

Well, with Carlotta, you can make up anything. Unless you say she and Erik were lovers. I saw a fanfic on that once.
The Persian is definitely difficult. We know what he is, where he came from, and his relationship with Erik. However, we don't know his name since he never gave it, or his family or whether he had one. We know just enough, but at the same time not enough.

That's part of what makes the Persian fun, though. He's mysterious, and even the bits we do know about him are taken for granted because he elaborates so little on them. It's a nice challenge to try to figure him out.
And actually, if you're really detailed you gleam a little more about Carlotta. We know she got her start as a cafe singer, which is a rather ignominious start for an opera soprano at the time; we know that Erik knows a lot more about her than one would think, although that could indicate a number of things; and we know that she's one of the few characters based closely on a real person, so when in doubt you can always continue ripping off Adelina Patti's real life.

Great point, Fox. Christina Nillson is the basis of Christine, so reviewing her life (to a degree) could be used for her character as well. Of course, we know plenty about Christine minus her mindset, in a manner of speaking.

I admit, my playing the Persian in my RP is rather intersting, but right now he's still laying under a heap of towels... He's kinda been forgotten in the kidnapping of my other character... Yes, I play two because nobody wanted to join the Masquerede...

I play alto sax.
I've played the Persian on several occasions. Using his logic and being able to know Erik on a higher level than others can make things interesting, as well as constantly conflicting against leaving Erik be or intervening with his actions.

Wow... I'm sitting here and I'm reading everything that you stated about Carlotta and I'm thinking, "Yeah, made her do that; made her like that... DAMN! How did I hit her so spot on? I am not that detailed!" My version of Carlotta did start off singing in small restaurants/bars before she got her "big break". However, she was also in a up-to-date version of PotO, so she was working on becoming a rock star rather than an opera singer when she was singing in bars and cafés. However, one detail that was in my head that I never quite stated was that Erik was the main song composer for her band.
